Lloyd is minor/middling nobility. His unit is distinct from the military's R&D- while they ARE a military department, Lloyd and Cecile are specifically under the chain of command of one of the other prince/princesses. Cornelia feels a certain way about it because of two reasons (I assume): 1) It's like a General asking/ordering a Captain or Hauptmann from a different branch to assist in an operation without going through their commanding officer/general and 2) She doesn't want to be even symbolically in debt to one of her siblings. Lelouch gave Euphy the hint that he knew her because he's super intelligent, prideful, and arrogant. He couldn't help making the comment. He feels in control in the situation and much smarter than her. He also strongly believes in his camouflage of 'being dead'. (This is my personal read, so take it with a grain of salt!)

I believe you would have a field day watching that x: 4) I agree, both Sazaku and Euphey are both too idealistic/naive, which is why i dont like them. I also don't like goody2shoes. But ofc as characters they are well written imho. Pretty much all of them are. Including Nina....... ugh and so it starts. Her lit. Eleven-Phoabia is out of control XD but i guess thats what phobias are
