The picture dramas mentioned in last part, are also somewhat difficult to find to watch however since they were only included in the DVD Blu-ray and DVD Box Sets haha

2025-09-19 17:35:44 +0000 UTCI really love your in depth discussions, analysis and commentary on these episodes and that your willing to take the time to dive into everything shown on screen including the text that appears in the world during episodes. Some episodes I find have important world building or interesting knowledge that can only be gained from immersing yourself in the content presented in the world outside of the specific dialogue. I'm not sure if you've already decided how to watch the show but I would highly recommend that you watch Akito the Exiled (5 Episode Canon OVA each episode is about 50 minutes) in between Season 1 and 2 of Code Geass since that's when it takes place canonically and I think you'd appreciate it since you seem to enjoy world building. Also a non-spoiler fun fact is if you ever see Pizza Hut or pizza a lot in the show this was due to Pizza Hut sponsoring/partially funding the show's production so they have some product placement throughout the entire show and the pizzas shown were all pizza's people could order in Japan at that time. Additionally if your curious about the nobility structure of the Holy Britannian Empire structure at all let me know since it's never clearly defined in the show and was later defined by the shows creators post production in some of the books and other not show media made. Additionally once you finish Season 1 of this show there are also picture dramas that were made and are canon however there are also post season 2 picture dramas and those are not canon if you're interested, but aren't necessary to see before starting season 2. However they do provide some additional lore and context to the world and character thoughts. I would suggest watching them in your free time either in between or after the show if you'd like.
