Oh you pointing out the symbolism of Dieter looking up and Johan looking down is so interesting, I had never noticed that detail before (regardless of how intentional It was). But yes, this is an incredible episode.

2025-02-19 10:30:22 +0000 UTCAn important note about the Stanford prison experiment is that within the last few years (I think 8 or so years ago) it came out that the whole experiment was a hoax. The guards and prisoners were coached on how to behave beforehand, as reported by several of the participants. Interestingly, it was still taught at the beginning on my neuroscience degree, but by the time I graduated professors started to exclude it from curriculums
