Miasma HRT is interesting because she should have gotten twisted by the miasma if not for not having any soul at that time, which implies interesting things about the Corrupted. A soulless vessel can’t be twisted, only ensoulled meat. She’s like 20, so even a short trip in the Dark World should have fucked her up a fair bit.

2026-02-15 22:30:25 +0000 UTCYou've got an upcoming zoo trip to look forward to! I'm sure there won't be any sort of similar circumstances drawn from Luna seeing a bunch of animals in enclosures, ostensibly happy and safe, but also probably kind of miserable.

2026-02-13 17:27:10 +0000 UTCPlease let the visit go well. Please let the visit go well. Please let the visit go well... These girls need a break from the suffering every once in a while but this is a thundermoo story sooooo

2026-02-12 17:37:25 +0000 UTCIm very curious about Luna’s mom’s full reaction but I doubt we’d get to see that. Still the guilt of realizing that your child had their soul removed and you didn’t even notice and in fact saw it as an improvement, the realization of just how much of an awful mother she has been and what will she do in response to that feeling.

2026-02-11 22:25:19 +0000 UTCIt's always jaring to me how relatable I find this. I too dreamed of being an unfeeling obedient machine. Life would be so much easier. I don't want to care because then I can be disappointed. Hating your mother but not wanting to see her upset. But I guess that is what happens. Abuse is abuse physical or emotional, and children will respond to it in predictable ways.

2026-02-11 03:53:15 +0000 UTCThea wanting Luna to be free isn't a loophole. Luna mentions that it just has the same weight as any other order, since there's no true tier system. Could Thea clarify? Possibly, but it's likely it wouldn't help. Luna also can't even manipulate Thea unless she truly believes it's for her own good. Funnily enough, Mel gave her the biggest loophole when she told Luna to disregard the spirit of her orders and only follow the word of it, which allowed Luna to save Castalia's life.

2026-02-10 02:34:10 +0000 UTCThank you for the chapter! I'm really hoping that Chloe or Bean manage to convince Luna to adopt FLuna and get her back on HRT. Her soul is already regrowing some, she's definitely feeling some feelings, they're just small and smothered under a haze of utter apathy. Also hoping that Luna manages to convince herself of the loophole that because Thea so clearly wants to free her she _should_ be able to free herself. (I'm sure the cage won't allow this, but I feel like she should be able to gaslight the bars a little wider at least) So so so looking forward to the zoo date!

2026-02-10 02:30:05 +0000 UTCI feel so bad for flesh Luna. How about magic HRT? Ah, but it's a thundamoo fiction. How about dragging them into a splinter for miasmaHRT. They could snuggle up with other clinical depressed magicial girls there, and be miserable together. Kind of give up one bidy and have two half souls become one new... Oh my gawd, I have to stop thinking about this... Seeing Fluna did not leave my soul untouched.

2026-02-09 21:28:21 +0000 UTCAs a Trans Woman still stuck in her flesh (praise be to the glory of automoton body swaps 🙏) the dysphoria chapters are always brutal

2026-02-09 19:25:41 +0000 UTCI tend to hold that dysphoria is the result of physiological factors, a subconscious sex, more than a matter of identity. Identity is just the tool we use to navigate the feelings created by this subconscious sex. As such, I predict the answer to "will [REDACTED] come to feel dysphoria as it's (I feel confident in calling it an it at this point in time, though it will change) soul regrows" is "yes"

2026-02-09 18:22:49 +0000 UTC...oddly enough, from an audience perspective this is basically the best outcome I could hope for. Luna hasn't harmed [REDACTED] by not checking in, and no one's using her fleshy leavings for malicious purposes. I wonder if he/it's gonna still *be* a 'he' if the new soul grows in fully. Will [REDACTED] start feeling dysphoric again, and feel some kind of way about suddenly wanting the name 'Luna' back? Will they grow a soul that *likes* this brain and body, for some reason? Will they realize they actually *prefer* the it/it's pronouns Luna uses in her narration here, despite *her* reasons for using them?

2026-02-09 08:43:44 +0000 UTCThought flesh Luna would house a being of immense knowledge and skill; it housed ultra apathy instead. Way to go, Thundamoo, you made me feel sad for the same character at two times strength.

2026-02-09 08:04:46 +0000 UTCFuck I hate being right, soulless Luna was just as brutal as I thought it would be. Thank you for an incredible chapter even if it was one long panic attack.
