Late Chapter Announcement (VM)
Added 2021-09-11 05:10:04 +0000 UTCI regret to report that today's chapter will be pushed back to Monday.
The chapter in question is both the final chapter in volume 2 and it is also currently the longest, despite the fact that it's not even close to finished and I deleted an entire page worth of it earlier today. I considered releasing the chapter into parts, but I genuinely believe it will work much better as a single, massive chapter to cap off the end of the second volume and to signify the path to the future of the series.
...That sounds a lot fancier than it probably will be, but the reality is I have been working on this chapter for the past two days and it simply still is not done. I will need to take the extra time. Apologies, but I hope to make it worth the wait.

I adjust my fedora hat and trench coat with such violence I nearly spill my two liter bottle of mountain dew. Cheeto dust clouds the air, as I type out my fury... "What?! How dare you! As an entitled internet idiot, I only care about instant gratification. Clearly you owe me, specifically, a chapter today regardless of whether or not it's feasible. Paying the equivalent of a cup of coffee every month automatically entitles me to be an asshole about this and set arbitrary deadlines, right? Obviously two shorter and less polished chapters are automatically better than one well paced and polished arc concluding chapter that I'll probably enjoy twice as much. This is outrageous, absolutely outrageous!"
