Progress report

Making Evelyn remake according to the 2nd position from the earlier pole. Most of the CG is done.
Question:

1) Should I make just change cg and add new animations in remake of Evelyn's quest or should I change it so it's less grindy?

2) What are some quest or points in quest the game could give player tips on what to do further?
I have made it so the game will provide tips according to players' progress on some quest.
Rn you'll get a tip when you get caught by Miss Jennifer to go check class 1-A on Sunday night, and to press q key when Zindy falls asleep during her massage.
What else could I add tips for? Let me know.

Did you change your name or my brain is playing tricks on me? Also found one small bug with Aela- if you talk to her during evening/night before she goes to bed, then talk to empty bed, her last CG shows up(example food preparation or book reading) with text when she sleeps.

Thanks for the suggestion. Here is a little spoiler so you can get a better idea on how I'm implementing it. Basically you'll get text messages on your phone depending on the point at which you are in the quest. For example: when you get caught starting at miss Jennifer's ass enough time to progress her quest (now changed to 3 time) you'll get a message on your phone that basically tells you "Go to class 1-a on Sunday night" 2nd message is for when you get to point in zindy's quest that you should press q key when she falls asleep. And yes I'll put something like a small icon in the corner of the screen when the pressing q key is available.

1. Her quest wasn't just go to library 2-3 times and help her? If you could go everyday -weekend it's rather short one compared to specific day ones so leaving it should be fine. Just CG I guess 2. Some ideas dunno if they are needed: - Possible q interactions visibility (there are apparently some images but except that lady in delivery quest I haven't managed to see any, mayhap Aela but I don't remember) - you could implement them as part of interaction (visible Q icon when available or perhaps changing name of npc to be like xxxx(Q) when they are available, so people won't have to spam Q for every text change) not necessarily as quest tip through. - Perhaps something like go check x place before an quests starts( something like fake quests with possible places to go to start questlines - like dot or some note "you have heard that there is some shop in the west part of the city, You wonder what's there") for every possible place that isn't secret(?) like certain event in city. Possible high amount of variables(some questlines start like x scenes after meeting one character) so not sure how would you go about it through... - how many times to watch miss Jennifer(?) ass to get(it was 5 previously I think, or at least f95 folks claimed so) "did she me staring? Perhaps I can watch more" -> go to class 1-A Sunday night after watching those x times. - "what if I won't do Tracy delivery for some times?" to progress further with Tracy quest, heard that some ppl went everyday until they got tired of not getting any cg, then finally got sniffing part of the questline. - if some char needs more of certain variable then a short tip for it, dunno if Zoe needs some. - Not sure if there was specific day for Tracy to appear if not then there no need. Not sure if any character need more specific instructions ATM bar perhaps general location where to find them or some allusion on how to start their quest lines(H to put it up X to not, at least for those in this paragraph). Stalker nothing-X, Miss Honda nothing-X, Miss Jennifer already said-H, Holly just go few times until Zindy appears and continue until getting into her apartament(all ATM)-X, Evelyn go help in library few times-X, Kailtyn talk few times and buy energy bar(?) but its literally in text so X, Aela perhaps how to get sword as the rest is basically help at day or wake up when she sleeps -H(sword part), battle Enigma so nothing new- X, maybe a tip for Sylvaria how many times do you need to lose or some specific actions(not remembering now what was needed for plead scene)-H, village duo probably doesn't need any tip-X, the female knight might get one-H, hobo girl doesn't need one atm-X Dunno about secret event or spitburger(hella rng that one, has like 1 in 5 but I had to buy 20+ burgers to get it) and lunch lady so ???. Not sure if I forgot anyone else. Possible things you could add: Teleport-classroom or class door and maybe city block with Holly so people won't have to run entire map(You can get basically everywhere in two map changes from these points and they are unlocked from day one). Maybe village/Aeal place once you get far enough in game. Something like Watch item or Nap skill(totally not stolen idea from katalist ) callable from non combat menu that let's you skip one part of day when applicable(basically copy bed - minus go next day) And not sure if its bug or I did all the content for her but I can't seem to be able to talk with Kaitlyn when she running on the field on evenings. If there was some change then It could be my older save through.

There should be a tip for how many time you need to lose to the first witch before getting told to move on. after that have the shut-in girl tell you about the other girls

I feel like a change in CG is good, I didn't feel like that Quest was too awfully grindy
