Skarrds_Traits ver 1.2 (the roofies update)
Added 2022-12-02 15:44:30 +0000 UTCHere is the "Roofie Update". A bunch of new powerful tools for your pervert sim to get their way. Include the ability to get NPC sim drinking, knock them out or put them in the mood for anything! However, there can be consequences! Sim's can now remember the night before and may end up with regrets and embarrassing memories! (Unless of course you roofie them. Then they won't remember a thing!)

***A note on installation. Just let the new file overwrite the old one. You won't have to reapply the traits to the sims you already have. You'll just be able to pick up where you left off, just with the new features!

Below is a .7z file that contains the .ts4script file and the .package file. I've also uploaded the files uncompressed for anyone having troubles using the .7z compression utility.

I see i see, Thanks for the clarification! Was just wondering if im missing out on anything because its not always working for the devious actions but as far as the mod goes it is working well i have sims getting drunk and knocked out. Not really sure if it was triggered by me or some other autonomy forces working

2022-12-28 19:30:43 +0000 UTCThere won’t be any missing file that would cause that. The sims4 has a system of influence where there are always a number of activities they can “choose” to do. When a devious action is chosen, the motivation to choose to make a drink and drink a drink, are maximized. However, that doesn’t guarantee the action. There could be a whole bunch of reasons why the sim isn’t drinking. I am getting more familiar with the forces that direct a sims choices but it always seems like there is no guarantee. I have placed a relatively short time limit on the function so maybe I need to increase it. These are the things that I will be trying to refine as this mod gets play-tested. Because there’s any number of situations in which you could access the devious options, it will be difficult to know if why they aren’t completing their drink. Depending on the distractions that are available to the sim may override their desire to drink. Even with my play testing it wasn’t flawless but I found it would be working most of the time. But, that’s the sims. You can always manually control the sims and not wait for their autonomy to kick in.

I know because I zipped them up in there and everyone has been downloading it. As soon as I’m back home I’d be able to send you the file directly. Unfortunately I am away from my computer till the 28-29 or so. I would attempt to download again because everyone else got a 7z that must be uncompressed to receive the files inside.

So there’s nothing to unzip. I’ve read through the lovers lab from post several times hoping to find a solution…. But the only thing that I can come up with, is that it does not contain a script file…

The links of which are in the installation instructions on the description post for the mod on LL. I would set you up but I’m away from my desktop and all the information.

I'm pretty familiar with downloading and installing mods, but when i download this mod, it does not come with the script file, it simply shows "skrrd_traits.7z" but the file is not a zipped file so it does not let me unzip it.. hope this provides a little more clarity.

Based on what you’re saying, my guess is that you haven’t uncompressed the 7.z and unpacked the package and the script file and place those in your mods folder. Check on LL for step by step instructions. I’d post a link for you but I’m stuck on my phone.

2022-12-24 22:23:17 +0000 UTCHey! Do you mean the old files? Just so I'm clear, "Skarrds Sexually Awkward & Pervert" traits no longer exsists. It has been replaced with "Skarrds_Traits". And those traits (Pervert & Sexually Awkward) are both in that file. Make sure that you delete any of the old Sexually Awkward and Pervert trait files left in your mods folder as that will surely cause conflicts.

2022-12-21 03:08:29 +0000 UTCI know what I did wrong with the porn studio now... I forgot to change the lot type to generic. Now it works. I hope you didn't bother with this. Great mod! Makes the game worth playing! Edit: it changes itself to Residential! You place it with the PS trait and generic, look away, and it's suddenly residential. Then you change it back to generic and it's good to go!

2022-12-04 19:57:21 +0000 UTCOkay. So I wanted to reply again because a whole lot of what I said above is incorrect. ha ha! After I replied, I spent the morning trouble shooting. I determined that my mod is, in fact, causing the travel bug. I have narrowed down what the problem is specifically and will report the bug to MC5 (the tool I use to make this mod) To fix it, I have to delete all the "triggers" in the mod, (there are a lot) It governs the alcohol rules and the kissing and hugging buffs. As soon as the tool is updated with the bug fix, I will fix it. Thanks again for your comment. I appreciate it.

2022-12-04 19:36:05 +0000 UTCI've looked at making the trait a reward and it looks pretty easy. I won't be able to offer that until next update though but I will. Regarding a bunch of people travelling with your sim, yes I have that occurring too. I have felt it was a base game issue because I figured it showed up at the same time as the "aggressively mean" sims bug. (I saw EA mentioning it) I don't know anything about the porn studio mod though? I don;t have that myself.

2022-12-04 17:06:49 +0000 UTCLove this mod. Is there any way to make the occupational traits into 0 cost reward traits? Since I started using the porn star trait, I've noticed that whenever a sim travels, a whole bunch of NPCs and PCs show up. Not sure if it is this mod or some other bug, but it might be related to the porn star director and camera person showing up automatically at the porn studio. It wouldn't be a problem but the teens in my household are at school and they show up too, and they're getting bad grades now. Also, got it working once so I saved the porn studio to my library, but when I used it in a new game, it doesn't show up as a venue for a porn shoot. What did I do wrong?
