"MiSide: MiniSized (Part 3)" video is now available!

After some delays (and breaks), the full video for the 3rd part of "MiSide: MiniSized" is now finally available!

Having just left Version 1.15, the Player finds himself suddenly falling high up in the air. Thankfully (and luckily), he landed on the soft chest of Sleepy Mita, which cushioned the fall.
Not wanting to disturb her, the Player attempts to leave but as he was about to stand, she suddenly moves her body to a different sleeping position, accidentally making the Player slip inside of her clothes. With the Player trapped between her clothes (and her nipple), will he find a way to get out without waking her up, or just do the riskier move of waking her instead?

A bit of a spoiler from here on out (I suggest that you watch the video first before reading anything beyond this point if you haven't already):
The reason why it took me a while to do Part 3 (as well as pause the billing for last month) is because I decided to make 2D Mita's section a game (of sorts)! I tried to learn most of the basics of RPG Maker this past few months (like watch several tutorials, visit RPG Maker forums for help and stuff) and made my first attempt to create a short game which will be the basis for 2D Mita's part in the story. I figured that this is the perfect way to do her part in the series as well as try out something a bit different from what I used to do.
I called it a game of sorts since it's not really a full-fledged game as most of it will be dialogue-heavy (and I wanted it that way since her version in the original story is a Visual Novel) and this "game" is only limited to 2D Mita's sequence (it will return back to the original animation style after the Player leaves her version), but I'll try to incorporate a couple more minigames into it once I was able to complete it.
I wanted to surprise everyone by making a short game to make up for the long wait but unfortunately, I still couldn't complete the rest of it in time so the video ended with a cliffhanger, but I'll try my best to finish her part (and the game in full) by next month. Note that the title of the game is not the game's version, but 2D Mita's version (her version wasn't really mentioned in the original story so I just made up a version between 1.15 and 1.0F and decided to name it Version 1.025D, the 25D referencing 2.5D, which is kind of what I'm aiming for when I created the game).
As for the graphics, even though it's technically a 2D, I still used 3D models for the in-game scenes since I'm not really that confident when it comes to my drawing skills so I just made a model edit of 2D Mita (as well as the Chibi Player) and still used MMD to render them hence why I considered it as kind of a 2.5D game instead of pure 2D.
Anyways, I also attached the game (it's sort of a demo since it's still incomplete at this point) for those who are interested in trying it out, though the game also ends as what the animation video showed but I'll still put it here just in case someone wanted to play it or they haven't finished watching 2D Mita's sequence in the animation video. There is also a bit of content/extra scene on the Game Over part when you failed the "Stomping Minigame" with her which I didn't put in the video since Game Overs are non-canon to the overall story anyways.
Also, the non-subtitle version only includes Sleepy Mita's sequence since I don't really see the reason to make a non-subtitle version on 2D Mita since her part is a game.
I hope you enjoyed the full video and look forward to the full game next month!

Don't worry, I'll change it to be input-based instead of auto-read.

I can't wait to see what the game turns into, just wish there was a way to turn the text speed down😂😍😍😍

Thank you very much for the in-depth comment~! Yeah, she can shrink Player's but with limitations, like she can't shrink the Player if he is not inside her version and can only shrink him inside a "Special Event" so even if he is in her version, she can't just shrink him whenever she wants. As for the game, I already planned on changing the dialogue to progress only after the Player (not the one in the animation but the one playing the game) pushes the confirm or Z button. Also, since the game is part of the series' events, I intended for it to be like the animation to fit it into the story, but there'll be a couple of minigames in the full version of the game but will still fit in the story so it'll feel more game-like than a visual novel to keep the balance since this first art of the game is more of like a visual novel.

Check out the time on this one! ⌚👀 We definitely got our money’s worth. I hadn't quite clocked you for this level of sheer over delivery—but man, was it worth hitting snooze 🫳⏰ and catching a few extra ᶻ 𝗓 𐰁’s, only to wake up and find what once lived in dreams turned reality! Seriously, the ambition on display here? It's on a scale I haven’t seen in a long time—if ever—in this space. Who would have thought of a tie-in game? That kind of ingenuity and out-of-the-box thinking is rare, and I can confidently say very few creators could have pulled this off. All of that is to say: I thoroughly enjoyed the concept. And now, as I rub the sleep from my eyes (っ˕ -。) after that extended ‘nap’—(pause)—I can finally see just what you’ve been up to. You’ve certainly rewarded us, and I’m feeling more reinvigorated and excited than ever after seeing—and experiencing—it. This is exactly the kind of creative endeavor I want to see more of, and I’m so glad you took the time to bring it to life, because wow—it really paid off! Honestly, the fact that you went to such lengths to faithfully create a size-fetish-themed game just to portray it more effectively in your animation? Genius! It harks back to the rich history of RPG Maker games in this genre, and there’s a real depth of nostalgia in that—a heartfelt tribute to the humble beginnings of the fetish. And such wouldn't be quite complete without... 🦶 ᯓ🏃‍➡️ ➡ + ⬇ + ➡ + ➡ + ⬅ 🎮 😏 And then we have 2D Mita casually dropping: “I have the ability to shrink Players...” Instant best girl Σ>―(〃°ω°〃)♡→ Even better was the ˗ˏˋpingˎˊ˗ right after that line dropped—it felt like an event flag, like something significant had just been triggered, a subtle nod to both the player and the audience that this fact carries weight for what’s coming next. The timing and placement were just too perfect to be a coincidence. As for the limitations on her ability—your terms are acceptable ദ്ദി(˵ •̀ᴗ - ˵) And because we’re already at the “default tiny size,” there’s this strong implication that we’re only going to get smaller from here, only to ever be “restored” to our new normal. Rejoice, player—for this is the biggest you’re ever going to be! One thing that felt to me like a bit of a fourth-wall break, purely by the recognition and resonance of the message, was the line: "I've already been in this situation a couple of times before, but having shrunk much smaller made this encounter even more intimidating." I wanted to point this out specifically because at its core, it captures a significant acknowledgment and appeal to the size-change aspect of the fetish. Nothing quite sends a thrill through me like that sudden penny-drop moment: “AM I EVEN SMALLER THAN BEFORE?!” It’s so reminiscent of those first moments of shrinkage in classic videos and games—a running theme you’ve nailed beautifully throughout. I’ll admit, I completely missed the shrinking in the previous chapter 😅 Seeing his earlier commentary prompted me to rewatch the prior parts to catch what was, in hindsight, blatantly obvious. That said, I took comfort in knowing I wasn’t alone! Even the player seemed unaware of the shrinking until entering the 2D space.  And thinking on it further, this layering of scale makes the previous interactions with the Mitas even better. Each encounter, experienced at a progressively smaller size, reinvents itself. The familiar becomes unfamiliar again. There’s something delightful about realizing—later—that each interaction has become more intense and personal. As for the game itself, my only real critique is that it plays too much like the animation. I imagine that was intentional for the video’s sake, but outside of the minigame and the choice segments, you don’t have control over the pacing—you can’t click through the dialogue at your own speed, which does break the illusion that you’re actively playing something. That said, it was still a super enjoyable experience! And I’ve got to give props for the inclusion of ‘extra’ content—it was a great incentive to actually play through the game instead of just watching, especially for those of us who already saw the animation. I love the idea that some things are reserved for players alone. It makes the whole project feel that much more thoughtful and rewarding~
