2025-08-17 05:54:55 +0000 UTCI actually agree completely. This update was an incredibly mixed bag for me. I think the quality is stupid high, and feels proportionate to the effort I put in. I think the visuals, animations, and overall presentation are better than ever. The writing and structure is... inconsistent? I struggled to keep the update concise. Even when writing, the fact that the party hadn't ended yet was plaguing me, mostly because I couldn't figure out why I hadn't wrapped it up yet. I know this is a hard thing to believe, and it's difficult to convey how it felt, but I genuinely couldn't figure out why the pacing kept getting worse. It was super frustrating. I'm really happy with how I've carried the relationship building in this update, and I think it may have stemmed from a hesitance to balance that and the plot at the same time? I may have lacked the confidence to bring things forward together and ended up compartmentalizing it. So what we ended up with was an update mostly focused on getting relationships and conversations where I wanted them, leaving the plot as a meandering journey in the background. I'm still trying to figure out the root cause of the inconsistent writing in this update, because I don't want to repeat this kind of episode again. So I think the update is probably entertaining, satisfying for some relationships, but also frustratingly slow and unfocused in other aspects. It's not an update I regret, but and update that should be better than it is.

I was kind of disappointed that the party wasn't finished with at the end of the update , it feels fay too long in my opinion but oh well it packed a lot so it's not that bad . In general loved i loved how much relationship progress there was packed in to it.
