So what's episode 1 all about, anyway?

Good Question.

You may have noticed that I've been vague about this topic, but in all honesty, it's a simple effort to avoid spoilers. I've kinda figured out what I'm happy with divulging.

So what kind of stuff can I look forward to in Episode 1?

Well, the MC has a lot on his plate. With that said, I'm not going to rush it. This is just the start of the story, there won't be many big blockbuster moments yet (look out for episode 3) and I want to give the story the appropriate amount of time to set itself up.

So in episode 1, the MC will set out to explore this new world in a minor capacity. Remember the mention of an animal-morph district in the demo? We attempt to check that place out. After all, who doesn't want to see women with cat ears?

In between all of this, there are slice-of-life elements where you further get to know the characters, as well as set up their story arcs. (No cap I haven't actually figured out what Grace's arc is all about and I'm just winging it.)

The MC will also attempt to explore the slavery side of this world, attend a slave market, and maybe get himself caught up in something larger than he could've possibly imagined. Yeah, wow, it's harder to write this without spoilers than I thought it would be...

In addition to this, the MC will meet a small cast of important characters.

Dr. Ronald Bashford

As implied by his title, an expert in magical studies, a professor of the psychological school, and a man who may help you find some answers.

Stella

Why does Ron get a surname and the other characters don't? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ A small, sheltered girl who, it would seem, is suffering from a bout of amnesia.

and 3 more important characters who will definitely take us into spoiler territory.

How about the lewd content?

Again, I'm trying to give these things the appropriate amount of time. Episode 1 is going to have 2 lewd scenes. One voyeuristic, one hardcore. Rushing out the sex stuff is not something I want to do, there will be a lot of lewd content later on in the story. Current plans for episode 3 include at least 6 of these scenes.

The plan is for each episode to have at least 1 lewd scene, how many are in each episode will be on an episode-by-episode basis. I don't want to force these things and if an episode doesn't call for a lot of sex, it won't have it.

Yeah.

So that's all for this update. I decided to make it Patron-only. Because most of the benefits Patrons receive are all tied to the release of the game (early access, walkthrough, 4k version) I felt like I should give you something in-between.

I'm open to suggestions for making the Patron experience better. What kind of rewards would make you want to pay more, or just rewards you think I should offer anyway. I'm still figuring this stuff out.
