Summer 2025 (Updates)

Time for a little update I guess as time goes by, and events happen (quite fast actually)

Internet is going the 1984 road really hard

Alright, so here I was thinking that Q3 of 2025 would be super chill, I can go eat a dong I guess!

For those who don't know, 1984 is a book written by George Orwell, a guy who (kinda) predicted that WW2 would end up with EU becoming a part of URSS and going full on surveillance/credit score mode. I don't remember if that's where the "Dystopian Society" came from, but that's probably the one that describes it the best.

Now imagine that a few guys in EU/UK read that book and decided that the bad guys had a good idea... That's summer 2025 for you!

Now to talk about the matter more seriously, I'm usually very quiet about politics cause it can lit people on fire. Political subjects are about what matters to you, and we can either greatly agree or very strongly disagree in these cases. I'm basically here to entertain, not to change the world, and I'd like to keep things that way.

But unfortunatelly, politics and big corpos decided to go against us (artists and consumers) bits by bits, taking down Tumblr first because NSFW is a nono, taking down Gumroad because the payment processors said so, and now everyone is in a joined venture starting with Itchio (gotta admit, they're the only one I saw trying to fight back), Twitter, Youtube, now even Spotify?? Also forgot this very site, which censored a lot because of the same corpos...

It's one thing to just quickly change from a site to another, like for example jumping from Gumroad to Itch... It's painful, made me loose a lot compared to before, but at least we could still take it back then. And I guess we also need to diversify, avoid getting all your eggs in the same basket and stuff...

But what do you do when all the baskets are under attack all at the same time? Do I need to stop drawing completely because somebody decided they'd be the worst parents ever?? (The argument isn't even viable anymore, Idk how your child can access nsfw by listening to Spotify)

That's the reason why I decided to break the rule now, we're gonna talk about politics. Not all politics, but freedom of speech specifically, cause if we don't, we'll just either flee anywhere we can, or disapear completely. I'm tired of doing the first option, and I'm not willing to try the second one.

I won't die for nsfw, but I think the matter is greater and we all need to do something against what's happening. The UK is the example of what's about to happen.

Conclusion and how to take action:

I can't find back who said that "Freedom isn't a right, you have to fight for it" but I don't think I'm exaggerating when I say this is a moment like this.

I mixed up two subjects here with both governements and corpos, but the problematic of freedom of speech is the same still.

The only way to fight back is to "bully" them into doing the right thing and spreading the word as far as we can. (When I say bully, I mean tell them it's a no no, respectfully, and don't let them escape their responsibility)

You can for example sign petitions like the PAYMENT PROCESSOR ONE, or the UK one. I'm considering doing one for EU if I don't find any this week (it might take a little time cause IRL life is also busy)

Feel also free to retweet anything on the subject, email your local political guy about the matter, phone the payment processors til they change their mind (stay polite if you can, we need to stay respectful to keep our arguments clean).

And again, it's not only about UK and EU, things are spreading everywhere really fast. And if you think there's nothing we can do, then just remember that no battle is won by doing nothing, and trying is always better than accepting defeat.

Now that this is outta of the way, let's talk about updates:

SUMMER

I know I said Mobius would be my top notch priority, but I think there are too many things to tackle this summer to actually focus on only her... Belle needs another go, Marvel Rivals peaked, Columbina walked the dogs out... Plus the shades... Even League woke up with the Ahri/Sona skins, + the spirit blossom ones... There's way too much stuff going on, I think I can push back Mobius for a little bit.

I'll keep streaming her summer skin as soon as I can go back to Twitch, but the other two might wait a bit.

3D

Still didn't give up (yet), I'm preparing a little something really quick. Like I said, I'll try to do little projects here and there instead of a big one right of the bat, cause I'm way too much of a noob atm and nothing will be done if I keep going down that path. Expect something pretty soon!

CATCHING UP

I know Leblanc and Xilonen are still waiting, Leblanc is still happening for sure. Xilonen tho... I'll try my best to get something good out of it, but no promises here...

Miku got me a little tired of big projects, so Leblanc will probably end up being a 2 pictures kinda artwork. We'll see how I feel about this one once I get back to it!

OTHER PROJECTS

I'm thinking maybe about a few animations, but givent the time I have and the medium I want to use, I'll see if I can reduce the expectations about these. I'll talk about it once I can have something concrete.

I have a new idea for a Feet Pinup also, or something alike... I need to see how I can make this work out (if you want a hint, it's about a good anime that took 10 years to comeback...)

And lastly, I fell in love with WUWA, so you can expect more from this IP. Probably gonna do low budget Mavuika and blue Ishtar. And some more?

Anyways, I hope you were able to survive that big batch of words, I stay hopeful the global situation will get better, and if it doesn't, we will make sure it will anyways.
