The Next Vote
Added 2024-06-04 16:42:12 +0000 UTCThe Final update for the Dwemer Electric Device is right around the Corner, and there are a few things pertaining to its development (particularly since the last release) which I'm not quite happy about and which will need addressing in a separate post.
Main issue was the excessive amount of wasted time, and in order to make up for that (at least somewhat) well start the Vote now so I can get started with the next thing right away when the Dwemer Device is done.
So, whats it gonna be today?
There have been a few options in the past which have popped up multiple times, but never won.
Usually these were relatively minor options like very small devices or additions to existing mods.
But when pitted up against MAJOR options like OBH or Complex Devices, these simply wouldn't stand a chance, even when a lot of folks on the Discord voiced their support for them.
Because of that, we´re doing something slightly different this time.
We wont have anything Flashy like OBH or an Archeron Integration, but we´ll instead have some of the older options of the past.
I hope that's acceptable to you. The Biggies will be available again next time, but I really think the small ones need some love and attention as well.
So, what are the options?
1: The Cross
A rework of the Cross which has been around for a while as a standalone Mod (Pamas Permanent Cruxifixes).
The original one had a lot of technical limitations and was only available for NPC´s, and its time to remedy that.
The New version would be available for Player and NPC´s and would also have no limitations on the amount of occupants, be it local or global, dead or alive.

2: Heads on Spikes
Same as the last time, an handy option to dispose of corpses and leave behind remainders of your victories (or Defeat)
Would be a peaceable Device similar to the existing presentation Spike. Some of the older Devices would get options to move dead actors over there.
And if people want it, I could also add an interaction option to move regular dead bandits over there.

3: Revisiting Solitude
As you all know, "Bad ends - Solitude" Is in a somewhat unfinished state.
There are Plaza Devices which aren't yet implemented, and The Back alley adventures with the Guards which were intended to provide an alternative way to bail out captured followers aren't functional Either, So voting for this will result in new Scenes.
There are also a number of know Issues which need addressing.

Fair enough, that's democracy in action. Necromancers were my choice, but happy that there's a smaller remnant that will find its way back into the workflow. :)

2024-06-22 14:37:58 +0000 UTCUnlikely. At the Time I had two Ideas for domething REALLY big. OBH and The Necromacers. OBH Won, and there is a lot of content I already have mapped out for it. Starting another Big thing like that would only result in 2 unfished mods being around. I have however a smaller Idea for a Post Bad-ends outcome which will show up in the Next Vote.

2024-06-16 19:26:44 +0000 UTCQuestion - there was an option a long time ago for a necromancers' guild (iirc) which resurrects your character post-Bad Ends outcome. Will that make a comeback as an option at some point? :)
