Usually I would open up a new poll here and let you decide, but we have a bit of a special situation at the moment, so w have to make a small exception this time.
Remember the last post about reaching out to other animators?
One Of those who answered, Echo-W, suggested the Idea of a gravity-based Impaling device and ALREADY finished the animations required for it.
And since he didn't even want anything in return, I kinda feel obliged to give this device priority. On my end, I already gathered the required assets (new platform, trapdoor, spike) to make it into a reality. I know I say this a lot, but I´m relatively confident that this wont take long to finish.
As For the Treestump, Kalmah is already working in on the anims for the strangulation variant and has finished the first stage. The updated variant will be uploaded with utmost haste as soon as I have the full set.
After these two devices are done, we will have a vast amount of new possibilities for new Events, and The Vote on that wont be an easy one for your :p

Depends on how detailed you want to have it. Neither of these levers are actually moveable, and animating the guards to do a fake pulling motion would be a lot of effort. You could argue for something simpler, i.e. the guard just walking up to the device and magically waving his hand to trigger it. But I I dont think this is a good idea outside of events. it just adds another layer of complexity and potential point of failure to the device. NPC involvement is always something I like to avoid due to the wonky pathfinding and potential conflicts with other mods.

2023-01-27 16:14:39 +0000 UTCAll sounds good. 👍 Out of curiousity, how difficult would it be to add chopping block NPC executioners to other existing devices? For example, have an NPC auto walk up and pull the lever on the guillotine if an NPC is already in it.
