Spreading Influence

Something very interesting happened. Zaira, the Autor of Maria Eden, has contacted me and proclaimed that he wants to use My mods (namely deadly furnitures and the beatup module) as basis for his own execution/punishment scenes.

This is especially interesting for me, because Zaira is pretty much the one who got me into skyrim modding, and his earlier works were a big inspiration for me when I started out. So it kinda makes me a bit happy to have "Surpassed my Master" so to speak.

What does this mean for you?
Well, it means you´ll eventually get to see some full on scenes featuring my toys.
In our correspondence, he described plans for a "hold the plug" minigame for the gallows, A bow shooting type of Event and a stake burning.

The great part about that is, that he offered to create some of the simpler devices like the bow shooting target himself and let me merge it into deadly furnitures, this way we can get some more devices and see them in action without having to go through the Maria Eden Questline, and without taking a lot of my time.

This will however require some occasional attention from me to make some backend additions/changes to existing devices to accomodate his scenes requirements.
The more attentive of you might have noticed that I made an update to the beatup module yesterday. This was already a part of this new venture.

I know, working with others is always a bit risky and there is a chance that this wont yield anything usefull, but I think its a great opportunity.



About my own stuff:
For the spitroast, Im currently experimenting on using some of the ActorBase functions to get the coloration's to properly work. They are a bit more reliable than the currently used Nioverride, but not quite as versatile. I´m try to get the best out of both worlds here.
This will likely require a few more iterations to work perfectly, but for this weekend, Ill get the Platter-system ready, and a very basic cooking minigame (i.e, harvest meat at the right time to get better quality meat.)
