Taking a Break

Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking this over a lot and I’ve decided to take another break from game development.
 

The larger my games have gotten, the more effort it takes to make a new update, and it’s gotten to the point where it’s just taking too much of my time.
 

You guys/girls are amazing, and I love sharing my creations with people around the world. But due to the nature of adult content, it’s not something I can easily share with the people in my life. And at this point, the hours hidden away in front of the computer just aren’t worth it.
 

Before continuing let me just say that this is *not* the end of these games (Harshville, New Beijing). I like them too much to abandon them.
 

But right now it’s just not something I want as a weekly/monthly thing for myself. Hope you understand.
 

Maybe once I’ve spent some healthy time away from adult content and the computer I can come back to you guys with renewed energy.
 

I wanted to tell you guys this *after* I released the latest update to not worry you, but also before your pledges renew tomorrow. As far as the money goes, this was always a creative journey for me. I never got so much support that I considered this a professional occupation, which is fine.
 

For those who feel like continuing their support without regular updates, I’ll still be posting renders. This is much easier for me to do than a relatively bug-free game update with new content, and still scratches that creative itch I have.
 

Anyway, I really hope I’ve made it clear that this is temporary, though probably longer than my last break. Harshville and New Beijing are not over, I just can’t work on them right now.
 

Thanks for coming to my Ted talk, but no really, thanks for your support so far. I enjoy reading about your experiences playing my games, even if it’s just talking about a nasty bug!
