Hey everyone,
I'm finishing up the next Harshville update and wanted to say more about it. I've decided to make it a death sentence/ending type route where you are being punished for a certain crime. It has to do with the sketchy stimulants you can buy at the warehouse in town. I'm not sure how many spoilers I should give about it, but know that the mechanic is now working as I wanted it to.
Anyway, the reason it's taking a little longer than I thought is that I'm assuming you're put into the pillory at full hunger, so I'm making 5 different possible encounters instead of the 3 I planned at first.
I've also been eating my own dogfood so to speak. Usually when I make new content, I test it in isolation with hardcoded values to "skip" to the new things. That plus the Testers tier and regular bug reports is usually what I go off of in terms of bug-fixing. This time I've started a brand new file and just played the game as somebody new would, and I've found a lot of small things (and some game-breakers) that I've had to fix. Man, this game is getting to be a huge sprawl of content isn't it :D
