Priya is such a polarizing character precisely because she genuinely does have good qualities, but ultimately she is manipulative and borderline emotionally abusive. You've already progressed in the series now, so I don't think it's a spoiler to say the writers ultimately had to make her totally unlikeable in order for the audience to fully be on the side of Leonard not staying with her.

2025-03-12 22:15:26 +0000 UTCI kinda liked Priya in episode 21 , she always controlling and selfish but in this episode she stood up for Leonard and made him happy by being in his side against Sheldon and his controlling rules (I love Sheldon and he is my favorite but I feel sorry for Leonard sometimes especially when everyone tell him to let it go or you so sensitive it's really not fair) so I was really glad that Priya stood for him for at least once, however when she said that she will dump Leonard if he didn't sign the roommate agreement I felt really happy when Sheldon defeat her.

Sheldon is often insufferable, but I always feel immense satisfaction watching him defeat her. And yes, the fact that she was willing to dump Leonard on the spot if he didn't sign the roommate agreement is a huge red flag (although Leonard also shouldn't push Priya to tell her parents before she's ready.)
