happy november! 🧣🍂

the october group show finished up last week and it was such a positive experience! I thought I'd share my journal spread (that I finally colored today) and some photos from the opening night

it was really fun hanging out with my friends that night, and also really fun to see all the other artists' work for that month! I purchased a riso print myself from an artist member that I admired too. Everyone who visited my wall was really kind and sweet- I was so touched by the comments I received. lots of people said they felt like my art made them feel like their inner child and that the paintings just made them feel really warm and cheerful. it made me so happy! there's something so special about sharing your work in a physical space 💛

and I can't believe the month flew by so quickly. I made a lot of sales that month! I didn't expect to sell many at all but I ended up selling out of the prints that I had put out on my little shelf. I said goodbye to 2 framed pieces as well, and it's so heartwarming knowing that someone has my pieces in their home :')

I'm also really pleased because at the end of this show- an art curator from another local business reached out to me via email, and invited me to be part of their november show. so by pure luck, I'll get to display some of my leftover pieces out in the world for a little longer. I think that's going to be it for this year, but I feel so grateful for having gotten these opportunities- and I can't wait to keep painting and sharing 💛
