hey guys! thanks for all your requests. in this video molly reacts to:
control โ big sean, kendrick lamar, jay electronica (01:50)
prom/king โ saba (13:16)
the hillbillies music video โ baby keem, kendrick lamar (23:52)
survival tactics โ joey bada$$, capital steez (30:08)

we explain a bit about the picks in the intro (e.g. why the video isnโt entirely kendrick lamar lol) so pls watch that. weโll do another poll in the next few days so keep your eyes peeled. we had a lot of fun with this and really appreciated your input, there were tons of great suggestions.
we will also be uploading this weekendโs uncut video tonight or tomorrow morning. itโs been a long time coming ๐ thanks for being here! enjoy ๐

2024-08-22 16:01:32 +0000 UTCFun Fact: The Hillbillies is a parody of Drake song Sticky (from Honestly Nevermind). They use the same flow cadence and mimic his pacifying flow

2024-08-21 18:15:57 +0000 UTCThe comment about how Drake is the only one who took offense to the control verse reminded me of F.D Signifierโs YouTube video essay โIโm what the culture feelingโ that gives a really thorough historical account of everything that led to the Drake vs. Kendrick beef as well as the beef itself. Highly recommend if yโall havenโt seen it yet!
