Rori!

For as long as I've been drawing online (and for that fact, been alive |3 ), I've not really had a sona to represent myself. People know me as "PingTheHungryFox", the artist, so I sort of adapted the name "Ping" over the years. I never really identified as Ping, but rather he was a mascot of sorts for my account. So I would draw him any time I would reference me - Not necessarily because I was like Ping, but because people knew me as Ping, so it only made sense in my head.

I've been over a few characters in an attempt to make a sona in recent years - Rohlegur, Deon... But none have really stuck out because I kinda made them with a personality that still didn't really fit me in any way. Never felt like me when I used them, and it always felt like I was paying too hard attention to singular emotions I portray.

So here is Rori. This is my fursona, and I'm proud to say it :>

I spent a while designing the body type and colors to something I feel would be nice on the eyes. I love curvature in body types, and I love cute pawsies, and I love big stupid teeth and a cartoony smile. I feel my bubbly personality shines through with the character when I use them around friends, but I can still use them for serious pieces without the funniness.

I decided to use a folf as the species, as I think I have the sly, quick and laughy nature of a fox, and the quiet, sometimes rough, sometimes soft nature of a wolf. It's very stylized, though, so you'll never be able to tell what he's supposed to be without me telling you. |3

Since I made them a while ago, I've drawn a few pics! I've also made a VRChat avatar I'll be posting screenshots of very soon.

Sorry for the pseudo silence. I've just been pretty busy lately with a bunch of stuff, and posting art was not on the forefront of my mind. =w=\
