Added 2025-09-06 10:02:01 +0000 UTCCrocodiles sleep or rest with their mouths open because they can’t sweat and need to cool off by opening their jaws to release body heat, exposing the inside of their mouth and tongue to the air to cool their brain and blood, like they’re panting.
Los cocodrilos duermen o descansan con la boca abierta porque no pueden sudar y necesitan refrigerarse abriendo sus mandíbulas para liberar el calor de su cuerpo, exponiendo así el interior de su boca y lengua al aire para enfriar su cerebro y sangre, como si estuvieran jadeando.
