Kurama (九喇嘛クラマ), more commonly known as the Nine-Tails (九尾, Kyūbi), is one of the nine tailed beasts. Centuries of being regarded as a mindless monster and sought after as a tool for war caused Kurama to hate humans. After being sealed into Naruto Uzumaki, Kurama attempts to maintain its cynical perspective about the world, but with Naruto's insistence on treating it with respect, the fox overturns its hatred and willingly strives to use its power for the world's salvation.

Kurama (九喇嘛クラマ), mejor conocido como el Nueve Colas (九尾, Kyūbi), es una de las nueve bestias con cola. Tras siglos de ser visto como un monstruo irracional y codiciado como arma de guerra, Kurama llegó a odiar a los humanos. Una vez sellado en Naruto Uzumaki, Kurama intentó conservar su visión cínica del mundo. Sin embargo, gracias a la insistencia de Naruto en tratarlo con respeto, el zorro superó su odio y, de buen grado, se dedicó a usar su poder para salvar el mundo.
