He is characterized by a red headband, also being the only one of the four turtles to wear it in all forms of media, and wields two Sai in combat.
Raphael es la tortuga más conocida por su boca sarcástica y su temperamento irascible, así como por su amor por la lucha, dos rasgos que están presentes en casi todas las adaptaciones del personaje. Se caracteriza por una cinta roja en la cabeza, siendo además la única de las cuatro tortugas que la lleva en todos los medios, y empuña dos sai en combate.
