Just did this silly thing as a way to update that since last thursday I haven't been able to work almost at all because the building manager hired some people to clean and paint the entire place and well, they had to clean the rooftop with pressure water.
Apparently there is nothing between the rooftop and our ceiling in this attic, so that means that when they cleaned, we got black, dirty water seeping on the walls and the wood planks on top had water leaks everywhere.
We got a warning beforehand, but there is not much you can do besides covering things with plastic and hope that it's enough, while moping the floor and rearranging things so it's safe. Even our light fixtures got water in |3;;;;
Cue the following 2 days with us putting everything back in place, cleaning the mess that the water did and just being super tired. I swear that thursday before I could even make lunch, they started doing their thing and water inmediatly started coming in and from then...around 2pm to 8pm, we were stuck just stressing and looking around hoping it'd be over.
I thought they'd be fixing the tiles before water pressuring them, but nah, gotta do it raw before putting protection :v
So yeah, I apologize for not having the next comic page yet u3u, but this month I swear I'll get all them pages done!. I even fixed the storyboard for the next 8 pages, so it should be smoother sailing then.

2024-10-10 01:22:47 +0000 UTCI don't think it's normal to not have insulation between the roof and the ceiling, I'm surprised to hear the space there is completely empty @w@ Hubby already has some mysterious allergy here that I attribute to some mold mites living inside the ceiling, but I got no proof of it u3u It sucks~, haha Here we just have to hope the "ventilation" in the roof will let the humidity out before it becomes a problem, lol

2024-10-10 00:52:23 +0000 UTCOh absolutely, it's been some days since that but now we are getting actual rain and one day that it had slightly stronger wind, we had a leak where we didn't have it before x3;;; The owner of the building said he wasn't worried about mold, but man, I don't believe it when we are entering the cold season over here and the humidity is just gonna get trapped there. We are just gonna have to hope, there is no way to access the space between the roof and ceiling without like, undoing the ceiling, lol. </3
