Home From Work resumes!

So a loooooong time ago, Pan (you know the one) reached out and invited me to work with him on a story, and we got started, and then a whole lot of other things happened.* So at long last, we've resumed, and here we are!

Home From Work is a fun little office place mc happenings with a woman, Carol, who's been forced to cease working from home and go back into the office. Spicy shenanigans ensue. It's a fun little romp, and getting funnier with the chapter. While there's an original post with chapter 1, I went ahead and just reattached it here since I can't imagine anybody remembers it well enough to proceed without a quick re-read anyways.

I'm in a mode of letting the muse dictate my daily activity, so I have some amount of work going on chapter 4 of this, Toy's Toy finale, a new Ice Cream Bitch story (iykyk), website shit, and 2 commissions, plus 2 other RA-related projects (one of which is volume 7, which I am resisting the urge to commence with Herculean effort). Lots on its way down the pipeline! I'm dizzying myself a bit splitting so many ways at once, so thanks for your patience.

More to come.

* definitely none of the things that happened were me deciding to write a couple other books first

But, hey, worse time loops to be in than getting fun continuations to unfinished Ice Bear/Pan collaborations! Admittedly, this one didn't lodge itself super deep into my brain -- seven pages, one year ago -- so I appreciated the included initial chapter! This was a fun premise, and the sort of slow-burn workplace comedy that strikes me as the ideal intersection of the sensibilities of Pan and Ice Bear. (That, or a high school teacher and his class of twelve 18-year old sisters.) Everything's deliciously incremental, and absurd, and casual, and dialogue driven. We're just in a story of a woman being worn down by small talk and tortured logic, which seems like the thing both creators could run for a few hundred pages without losing steam -- either two dozen chapters or one long novel, depending on the creator. Very glad to see this one return, even if I don't think I'd've put it high up on the list of fond remembrances. I like watching two talented artists cook!

First "The Toy's Toy" gets a new chapter, now "Home From Work" gets continued... if we somehow get a new chapter to "Living The Dream" next week, I'm going to think I'm in a time loop.
