RA 6: Intro/Teaser

For $20+ patrons: the attachments here are the ones you already saw. Nothing new for you here. I just know how people freak out, understandably, if I restrict a post to lower tiers, but I just wanted to forewarn y'all that this is minor announcements and old files only.

Everybody else: So I've spent 2 of the last 4 weeks out and about on the road with friends and family, which has been generally awesome. However, I have observed that it's coming at a time when I've not shared much for y'all of late, so I thought this would be a good time to give you a taste of what I've been up to the past few months.

The RA Volume 6 is very nearly done with its first draft. I have one, maybe two chapters to go. Like Volume 4, it's going to be from a wide variety of characters, only this time, less gigantic, and with little to no of the flashback component. Instead, we're getting a Hancock spy satellite's eye's view of Higgins 3 goings-on for the final few weeks of the first semester. If you're curious who all has a chapter devoted to them, all you need to do is scroll down my main patreon page and check the titles, though lots (most) of the chapters do a lot with one or more other characters as well. The one attached below, for instance, says Charlie in the file name, but really is about Charlie and Destiny, with some emphasis on the former.

I chose this one for a few reasons: it picks up over Thanksgiving break right where we left off (other start closer to finals week, for instance); it's fairly inward focus so it won't spoil anything happening in the other chapters; and because it's just plain one of my favorites. No secret I love me some Charlie, and I feel like this delivers.

N.B.: This is first draft quality. This is what I release at the $20 tier, where I finish writing and proofread/edit absolutely nothing. There's definitely typos, misspellings, inconsistencies, etc. So please don't feel like there's a need to itemize everything I screwed up. I know. :)

I'll be back home by the end of the week, finishing the first draft and transitioning to editing, taking breaks from that tedium to finish up Toy's Toy, too. This book is probably going to be my favorite in the series so far, and I hope you love it too. I appreciate your support and patience so so much!
