Apologies

With the apartment stuff going on, I have had my time taken pretty badly lately. I couldn't finish the last comic page for this month before the end of the month and I also have 6 sketches for the rewards to be worked on.
I tell you, apartment searching while on a deadline to get out of your current place is no fun. But of course I'll compensate by drawing the missing page this month of august along the 4 pages of that month, just have me some patience while I try to juggle all of this.

I'm sorry and thank you for choosing charmeleon...uhh...enterprises...co? something x3;;;

I'm actually curious on what you guys would do on this situation.
I'm currently at the end of when the landlord told the new lady that we'd be getting out (With barely any notice for us). So in theory we should be out asap.
The cheapest apartment we found is a studio (t0) with 50% of its space taken by the slanted ceiling and with barely any space where your head is not touching the ceiling.
The market seems pretty poor lately with more options on that same range (Aka nothing atm) and there are only more expensive apartments available atm (For reference, we paid 180 euros for the current apartment, the slanted ceiling one is 300 euros and the next prices go from 400 to 600 for one room apartments)

We barely get by with my current income here and parents in law helping with the rent money. So considering that, I was like "I could take some commissions and make up for the extra 100 euros (Since parents in law would be helping with 300 euros, the sweet people, but 400 is too much for them). But then again, all these apartments require you to pay 3 months ahead... soooo

We are in this weird position where we sorta HAVE to take the €300 apartment just to make sure we have something, which we know is gonna be miserable (And the contract would be for one year minimun) or...I don't know, work mega extra hard for maybe getting enough money to pay a more expensive but decent apartment.

What would you do in that position?...because I'm not sure what I'd do. I mean, if I had tons of money, I'd go for a €400, but that's not the case right now on this deadline period x3;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;

Sorry for the usual long post, but man, this is stressing, haha..

hehehe, I'm trying. I really want to make this work so I can dedicate to art and not have to drop it for a more standard job with no time for art x3;;;, thank you for the kind words <3 I know if might sound cliche or something, but I trully believe that every little bit helps <3, these bucks add up at the end, so I appreciate every little bit of it, if it weren't from it I probably wouldn't be able to continue. So thank you for the support <3

I would love raise my contribution but I don't receive in dollars and my local currency exchange taxes are a real knife in the heart. I just hope you get out of this tough situation and bring more excellent art as you has been doing.

Yeah, I do guess it's hard to say something when one is not on the other's shoes. Whenever we go back to thinking on the €300 apartment it's just not too cool x3;;;. But at the end of the day it's sort of a gamble and it sucks, haha. We'd like to maybe try for the €400 one, I think I could make it work by asking a little more of my parents for that first payment. So now I'm considering it again. That €400 apartment was so nice x3;;;. But indeed the $300 one would be "safer", I really wish money wasn't a problem, haha. On that note, thank you for the help and generosity, increasing your pledge <3. I really really appreciate the extra help ;w;

If it's honestly within your means and it wouldn't make you feel terrible, it might be better to work really hard for the €400, but ultimately anything we say, we say without knowing your desires and limits. If you'd be content even though it's uncomfortable, €300 might be safer. Take the option you know you won't regret; or at least you'll regret less than the other. Also don't apologize for being shafted by bad landlords. <3 I'd have raised my pledge to 30 to help out if they weren't sold out.
