Saturday Update!

Good morning folks! It's time for updates!

I did struggle a bit this week, but I got about as much done. It's cold as hell out here and the darkness has been rough. Yesterday it felt like I got 6 hours of the darkest cloudiest daytime possible LMAO I got my SAD lamp working overtime 😂

I got a fair amount of writing done but I worry that it's bad and it sucks and is actually cringe. Is it the eternal cold and darkness talking? Maybe! There's no way to tell for now.

I do think that I managed to settle into more concrete directions for some parts I wrote [ the plans were kinda loose, but I figured out precise themes as I wrote ] So I am happy with that.

All I can say for certain right now is that the script will need major editing attention and a couple passes. It is what it is and though and I'll just do the work when I get there.

The scope of the project has been daunting me for the whole script process but I have realized on the bright side that one of the reasons for that is that I do actually have a pretty strong idea of what I WANT it to be. I think that'll be good in the long run. It's a lot of work but I can at least work with a solid direction for the most part.

I picked out another little snippet this week:

Not really Law dialogue this time, but an example of me getting a bit fruity with it, which is a perk of writing for Lawrence. I'm a purple prose truther and no one can stop me LMAO

Also got a couple rough sketches in:

But aside from that, I don't have much else to report! Kinda business as usual!

Oh, I do have one thing I guess- I should give you guys notice that I've decided to take a week off at the end of the month [ Dec 25-31 ] I think it would be good for me to take a break and I like to shut down during the liminal space between xmas and new years.

I might get up to some personal stuff or I might not, either way I'll still report in on Saturdays.
