Saturday Update!

Hello again, the weekend is here and I am present in some capacity or another!

I think I'll start with the bad news. The bad news is that I still have not made a planning video yet. I intended to, but as soon as I got serious about it I started having a panic attack type thing and just kinda freaked out about starting again. I don't have an excuse for that obviously, but I am sorry. I know that people are hungry for content, but I just haven't been up to the task. Whether that be starting the next game project or providing satisfying answers to lore questions/content requests.

Maybe a bit ironically, I really just wanted to rot this week. And I am sorry for that as well.

I do have some good news though.

For starters, I managed to get BTD2 working via renpy developer launcher. I specifically wanted it working with the launcher because I'll be able to get to all of the content in the game faster if I can use developer commands and cheat past certain things [ nobody needs to watch me try and fail to get the kept ending for 2 hours LMAO ]

I had to make some quick and dirty code edits to get it working [ Renpy itself has been updated many times since back then, so the app reads the code differently than it used to- making some old code no longer valid ]. I didn't have to remove anything important- just updated some filepaths and took the completion chibis out [ sorry chibis, but past me wrote you with very janky code LMAO ] And there's a chance I'll run into more problems as I play it, but I should hopefully be able to fix stuff quickly as I go along.

I'll make sure I get the video made next week. [ I'll get my shit together ]

In other news, I've had more contact with my merch supplier and the first shipment has been boxed up and sent to me [ 16 boxes apparently 😵‍💫 ]. This shipment is the main 'restock' shipment, and will include all of the old keychain and daki designs that were recently in the shop.

There will be two more shipments. One is for the new keychain and standee designs for YKMET, and the last one will be for the hard enamel pins [ mostly restocks with one new design- the YKMET:Strade logo with glow in the dark green diamond ]. I'm sure I'll get the pins last as they always take longer to produce.

The new keychains and standees look good I think! Vograce was kind enough to take photos and videos to show me the new items before I signed off on mass production.

I can't embed the videos because Patreon won't let adult oriented accounts do that [ sigh... ] but I can tell you that the shiny metal foil bits in the keychains does look pretty cool. I'm happy with the designs!

Aside from that, I don't have much to offer this week ^^; I'll make sure I get at least that concept video done next week.

But this one is from just this morning [ I caught her mid-yawn 😂 ] and she's got her new collar. That long pillow next to her is her favourite toy. She kicks it, fights it, cuddles it, and often just sits with it like you see here LMAO

Thank you guys so much for your support and your patience with me being slow to get back to work. I am very grateful for the opportunity to take time off and be bored [ and spend time with Willow ]. I can tell it's having some good effects on my creativity because I've had a few ideas for the next project. I've really mentally clarified on how I want to write Ashe this time as well [ They'll be getting more screen time so it's more important ]

Hopefully I'll get more clarity when I go through the old game! But for now, thank you guys so much and see you next weekend!
