Saturday Update!

Hello folks!

It's been a bit of a complicated week over here. I've been trying to work on the keychain designs but I've barely been able to touch them. My repetitive strain injury [ RSI ] is pretty bad and hasn't healed yet. The annoying thing with RSIs is that they take FOREVER to heal and they're so easy to aggravate and make worse.

I have multiple wrist braces because I've had RSIs before [ although never from shipping packages, the ones in the past were all from drawing ] and I know how to take care of it, but it's still a huge pain in the ass. My arm only recently stopped hurting round the clock so I tried doing a bit of keychain design work, but had to stop every time it started hurting again. [ Hence why I only got a little done ]

I admit I also fucked it up more by accident because I tried to play my switch, and that just flared it up really bad so now I'm banned from video games until it totally heals. 😩

Here's what I managed [ just one side of one keychain ]:

Ignore the Orangey Red on the knife and collar, that's just a placeholder color for the manufacturer to know where I want the silver foil.

I can probably finish the keychains next week since my arm IS getting better. I've been able to draw for around 2 hours before flaring it up already and I'll rest all weekend.

Truly my body do be fucked up though. I tried going to my usual blood donation appointment yesterday and I got rejected for low hemoglobin, so I need to try and cook more iron rich meals to fix that too. [ This was caused by the stress from before, TMI but it made me have 2 periods in a row ]

So I'm just gonna keep taking it slow.

I also have some bad news, or I guess a decision I've made that people won't like. I'm really sorry, but I've decided to increase the price of the plushies to 70CAD/~51USD. I know that's a jump and I know I said they would be cheaper. I've just been thinking really hard about my business decisions. I was trying to make it as low as possible to make everyone happy while ignoring how much work I have to do/have already done, and how small the profit margin would be. I can't keep doing that and letting my body pay the price any more. I also think it would be better if the demand was lower, so I could have them in stock in the store longer.

So I apologize for that, and for changing my mind. I'm sorry.

Aside from that, I don't really have much to report. Although maybe I should say for the people who were in the old discord server back in the day: I finally got an air fryer. Derek would be crushed. And yes, it's as amazing as everyone said it would be. My food has been devastatingly crispy. It's been great for packages of pre-cut pre-seasoned vegetables so I can be healthier while still being lazy about cooking. I enjoy it a lot!
