Might have to go to Passwords via messages/email
Added 2023-06-16 00:26:13 +0000 UTCHey, just a quick update. Unfortunately a few asshole patreons of mine are sharing the Mega links. Its annoying and really disturbing my creative time having to stop and change all the links.
IF YOU ARE LISTENING I WILL BE CHANGING THEM AS SOON AS YOU POST THEM SO ALL YOU ARE DOING IS WASTING BOTH OF OUR TIME.
Also it disrupts my creative flow so its hurting everyone. So please stop. Thank you.

You might be able to find an open-ai that can generate a script for you. Chatgpt clearly has blocks for adult content, but other sites might give you a good idea. Also, if you haven't checked out EasyVAM's Unleashed AI scene, I highly recommend it. He allows you to engage an AI that responds to your questions and inquiries. It can recite poems and scripts from movies. In the future, you may not even have to write scripts anymore because everything will be a result of AI conversation. But, imagine having your triggers cause an AI to generate a variable response that progresses naturally as the person activates or touches different triggers on the model. Good luck on coming up with a script though, I'm sure once you find inspiration, it's going to be fantastic.

2023-06-20 00:53:19 +0000 UTCExactly! I don't want to spend much time on it at all. Need concentrate on creating. Thanks for the kind words! I've got a bit of a writer's block right now though. I found a new voice actress. She's amazing but I need to come up with a script now. Pressure is on and I am staring at a blank cursor.. LOL.

2023-06-19 23:24:04 +0000 UTCEveryone is always going to have issues with pirating. Even the largest corporations can't eliminate it. So just keep in mind that regardless of the amount of effort you put in to stopping it, people will put even more effort in to circumventing your possible solutions. So you can find new methods to increase security, but just make sure that they are reasonably easy for you to do and that you're not beating yourself up over it. If you find a website that can generate unique passwords for each patron and monitor who accesses those passwords, when they access it, and their IP addresses then you might be able to make significant progress. As I've said before, you have the best interactive scenes on VAM and you're always coming up with new creative scenarios. So you're always worth the subscribe costs because the content is so great. Just focus on the people willing to pay and support you, not the ones who don't. Just my opinion, but keep up the great work!

2023-06-19 22:23:34 +0000 UTCI probably can find those pirated software too. I will however wait for yours here or in my mail. Thnx for the good work, please continue. :-)

2023-06-19 15:42:43 +0000 UTCdoesn't the link to the patreon file require logging into patreon and being a patron of that subscriber to download their file?

2023-06-18 14:58:14 +0000 UTCIn fact, I can find pirated versions in many forums and communities and download them for free within 24 hours of your release of the new version! But I am still willing to remain as your supporter and continue to pay for it, to support and respect your creation and works. In fact, the mechanism of VAM cannot eliminate the problem of piracy. You may only trust your supporters. Unfortunately

2023-06-18 13:04:50 +0000 UTCFor sure that's happening. It's the posting on public websites that is the big issue.

2023-06-17 14:47:41 +0000 UTCAs a web developer I can tell you that unfortunately till somebody knows somebodys else data (login/password) there is almost no way to prevent piracy. In example: 1 guy can buy your content and even if you have direct message downloads he still can send it to his friends. Unfortunately you just have to trust your customers . :(

2023-06-17 13:39:05 +0000 UTCNo thats worse. If it's embedded there is no way to remove it once its scraped. Mega I can just change the links.

2023-06-17 06:57:34 +0000 UTCis the file size limit for attachments on patreon posts too restrictive or something? i always wondered why many creators use mega links when they can just put the VAR in the post as an attachment (some creators seem to do this). that way it's protected since you need to be a patron to see the post, and the link can't be shared

2023-06-17 06:53:55 +0000 UTCYou may feel that way, but a lower price model would also attract more subs. That said, exactly my point about piracy. Everything gets pirated. The only thing you can do is take the Steam approach, make it so its more convenient to go legit than to pirate.

2023-06-17 01:15:03 +0000 UTCIf I went $5.00 I would just quit and go work at Macdonalds and make more money and have more free time. I'm familiar with JYY's work. I could bang that off in a day or two. My scenes are literally hundreds of hours and extremely complex. Plus the writing and editing for the voice acting. Their stuff is getting pirated too unfortunately so not sure your theory is correct.

2023-06-16 22:24:34 +0000 UTCPiracy is endemic, someone will always figure out a way to steal your content if its good. A lot of great creators have full on quit producing material as a result, and it is understandably frustrating to have your work stolen. Some folks just can't afford it, others just don't care. My suggestion is to offer a 5 dollar option, as most folks can stomach that and you may even see a dramatic rise in subscribers. For my part for example, if a 5 dollar option (or less) doesn't exist I'm not a thief and I subscribe every few months to catch up, then cancel before renewal hits. Meanwhile, I maintain my 5 dollar subs to people like Jyy and Luther Slade, and 5 bucks a month is easy to eat by comparison to the hassle of trying to find what may be a contaminated file on a pirate site. Just my perspective on it, but after taxes my monthly for your content exceeds ten dollars a month, and that is *two* of my other patrons.

2023-06-16 18:01:25 +0000 UTChow many patreons do you have? upload the same file into 2 links A and B. Sent link A to half the people and link B to another half. You will know which link and which group of people leaked the info. You can then narrow down the culprit and add people in the other group to a white list. Put new patrons on to a different group until you trust them. It's just my ideal.

2023-06-16 02:57:47 +0000 UTCIt sucks that someone's sharing the links. If you need to go to passwords to protect your intellectual property that's what has to happen. A few creators I follow use passwords. You guys have to click your mouse hundreds of thousands of times for each piece of content to be on your computer. I have to click my mouse, what? Four times? Five? To use a password to put that same content on my computer. I'm totally getting the better side of that deal.
