[Marvel : Spoiling Spider-man] Chapter 271 - 275

Chapter 271: Surrounded by Danger

[At this moment, Spider-Man was still being dragged along the ground, feeling the friction burn on his backside. He couldn't help but shout, "Oh! My butt!"]

[Brice aimed at Spider-Man and fired another laser shot. Spider-Man quickly used his legs to push off the ground, barely dodging the blast.]

[However, due to this sudden movement, he ended up being dragged along even more harshly. Green prepared to fire again, but Herman suddenly made a sharp turn.]

[The abrupt movement caused Green to lose his balance. The laser in his hand went off wildly, piercing through the side of the van. The recoil knocked the gun out of his grasp, sending him tumbling out of the van and into the grass.]

"That was intense! The third Peter is really having a rough time!" 1st generation George took a sip of coffee, shaking his head in disbelief. Even he hadn’t expected this version of Spider-Man to face such advanced weaponry.

Compared to the laser gun in Brice’s hands, standard police firearms were practically useless. Even the special forces’ weapons struggled against high-strength metal objects.

Take Alexei's Rhino armor, for example. Ever since the Sky Screen finished broadcasting 2nd Gen Peter’s story, many people believed that he had died at Alexei’s hands.

As a result, the New York police urged Osborn Industries to tighten control over the dangerous equipment they produced, even calling for the destruction of excessively lethal weapons. Harry Osborn had agreed to all their requests.

He thought that if such weapons didn’t fall into the hands of criminals, perhaps the 2nd Gen Spider-Man would still be alive. Deep down, Harry feared that Peter truly had died because of Alexei.

[Spider-Man clung to the van’s rear, but every sharp turn sent him crashing into roadside obstacles.]

[Herman noticed this and deliberately twisted the steering wheel back and forth, causing Spider-Man to smash into trash cans repeatedly. Finally, he slammed hard into a stone lamppost on the sidewalk.]

[Though the little spider wasn’t seriously hurt, the impact was enough to snap the web he was holding onto.]

[Herman checked the rearview mirror and saw that Spider-Man was still chasing them, completely unfazed. The little spider shot another web and attached it to the van’s door, but the already-damaged door couldn’t hold up.]

[With a loud snap, the door was yanked clean off. Spider-Man spread his hands helplessly. "Great! Looks like I’ll have to take a shortcut!"]

[Without hesitation, he sprinted into the backyard of a house, where two people were playing table tennis.]

[As he zipped past, he gave them a quick thumbs-up. "Nice rally! Keep it up!" But then, he ran straight into their dog.]

[The puppy immediately started barking and lunged at him. Spider-Man quickly held up his hands. "Hey! Hey! Relax, buddy!"]

[Seeing the dog ready to pounce, an idea struck him. He shot a web at a rock on the ground. "Sorry, pal! No time to play—fetch!" He flung the rock aside, and the dog eagerly chased after it while Spider-Man swung away.]

[Now that he was near the houses, Spider-Man finally had something to attach his webs to. He let out a relieved yell, "Woooah! Now we're talking!"]

[He shot a web at a treehouse, but miscalculated the force. Instead of swinging smoothly, he ended up ripping the entire structure from the tree and crashing into it.]

[A series of loud clangs followed as he tumbled through, knocking over furniture. A few seconds later, the treehouse door burst open, and Spider-Man bolted out, running through the house before breaking straight through a wooden wall.]

[His momentum carried him straight through a home’s railing, where a man was cooking. The man turned, staring at Spider-Man in stunned silence.]

[Spider-Man awkwardly waved. "Smells great!" Then he fired another web and swung away.]

[At another house, a backyard party was in full swing. As Spider-Man swung overhead, he miscalculated his trajectory and crashed straight into their pool.]

[The impact sent a huge splash of water onto a group of bikini-clad women nearby, making them shriek in surprise.]

[Still drenched, Spider-Man tried to recover his swing, but he ended up smashing part of a chimney and tumbling in front of a tent.]

[Inside the tent, two little girls had been playing. Suddenly, Spider-Man crashed right in front of them.]

[Startled, the girls screamed in terror.]

[Spider-Man, now lying on his back, let out a groan of pain before giving them a playful wink. "Oh! Hey there!"]

[The girls screamed even louder at the sight of his mask. Panicking, they overturned the tent while scrambling to escape.]

[Their reaction startled Spider-Man in return, making him backpedal on all fours. "NONONO! Don't freak out!"]

"Hahahaha! Peter Parker, the house-wrecking menace strikes again!" Rhodes laughed, watching Spider-Man leave a trail of destruction in his wake.

Tony, on the other hand, covered his face, clearly embarrassed. In such a flat environment, Spider-Man’s usual mobility was completely useless.

Even when he found objects to swing from, the branches and obstacles threw him off balance, making him crash repeatedly.

"I really need to add some flight capabilities to his suit… something that won't interfere with his movement," Tony muttered to himself, already thinking of future upgrades.

[Meanwhile, Ned was still trying to call Spider-Man, but all he got was a voice message: "This is Peter. Please leave a message!"]

["Peter, where are you?! The hat didn’t work! This is so not cool!"]

[At the same time, Spider-Man had finally caught up to Herman’s van. "I'm so close! I’ve almost got you!"]

[He leaped onto a rooftop, keeping pace with the van as it sped along the road. He smirked confidently. "You really think you can lose me? Think again!"]

[Herman and his crew turned a corner, but Spider-Man seized the opportunity and pounced. "Surprise—!"]

[Before he could finish, a shadow loomed over him. Suddenly, the Vulture swooped down, snatching Spider-Man out of the air. "AHHHH! What the hell?!"]

[Vulture carried him higher and higher. Spider-Man struggled, but he was held upside-down by his legs, unable to break free. His chest-mounted spider emblem flashed red in alarm.]

[The next moment, a parachute deployed from his suit, yanking him free from Vulture’s grasp. However, this only led to a new crisis.]

[Spider-Man found himself tangled inside the parachute, unable to gain control as he plummeted from the sky.]

[The ground rushed toward him. He panicked, flailing as he fell at high speed. Luckily, there was a lake directly below.]

[With a splash, Spider-Man crashed into the water. But the danger wasn’t over yet.]

[The parachute, now drenched, clung to his body. Spider-Man struggled desperately, but the wet fabric refused to let go, trapping him beneath the surface.]

Chapter 272: Saved

"Oh my god! He won't drown, will he?" A woman who stopped to watch was horrified as Spider-Man struggled in the lake.

"Damn, that parachute is really in the way!" Many people on the side couldn't help but curse.

"You can't say that. Tony Stark definitely doesn't want War Machine tragedy to happen again! But he didn't expect that he would be like this!"

Several more rational people refuted their views. Rhodes was seriously injured and his life or death was unknown. Because the sky did not release Rhodes situation, no one knew whether Rhodes could survive.

Therefore, Tony Stark hoped that Spider-Man would not be killed by the fall, but he didn't expect that this would put Spider-Man in greater trouble.

Aunt May also looked at her nephew with a worried look on her face, praying that he would not get into trouble.

Audiences around the world also watched Spider-Man sinking into the water nervously, hoping that he could get rid of the parachute and float to the surface as soon as possible.

"Fuck!" Tony couldn't help but curse, cursing his future self. If Spider-Man died like this, he would be blamed.

He made up his mind to develop a smart parachute first and put it first in the plan to ensure that the parachute would be in the right position when opened, not like the one in the sky!

This was not the first time. Rhodes had already lost his leg because he didn't have a parachute, and now Spider-Man was in big trouble because of the parachute he installed casually.

He didn't want to see such a terrible thing happen again. The damn parachute made Spider-Man unable to break free.

Fortunately, he fell into the lake and could struggle again. What if he fell directly to the ground and died? The responsibility would be all on him!

When Tony thought of that result, he felt dizzy, so he had to eliminate the possibility of such a risk as much as possible!

Tony picked up a glass of wine and drank it all, then looked at Banner who was looking at him worriedly and said, "Come on! Let's continue working!"

[Just when Spider-Man was in big trouble, a figure with a tail flame fell from the sky into the lake. A few seconds later, a steel armor rushed out of the lake holding Spider-Man.]

[Spider-Man was in a trance for two seconds before greeting Tony: "Oh! Hey!" Then he was relieved. He almost thought he was going to drown.]

[The steel armor didn't answer, holding Spider-Man and speeding away from the lake, found a place to put him down.]

[Spider-Man twisted his water-stained suit while talking about what had just happened, "Then he swooped down like a demon, grabbed me and lifted me to about a thousand feet high!"]

["Then he just threw me down!" But Spider-Man misunderstood. In fact, because of the parachute was opened and withstood the huge wind force, so the vulture couldn't catch him and fell down.]

[Spider-Man looked at the Iron Man in front of him curiously and asked, "How did you find me? Did you install a tracker in my suit?"]

["I put everything in your suit! Including this heater!" Tony said as he remotely activated Spider-Man's heater.]

[A burst of heat suddenly emanated from Spider-Man's body, and Spider-Man couldn't help but moan: "Whoa! This is much better, thank you!"]

"Huh! That's great, I thought he was going to get into trouble! Fortunately, Tony Stark arrived in time!" Seeing Spider-Man being rescued, the first generation Gwen let go of the heart that was raised to her throat.

2nd gen Spiderman also relaxed a lot. Just seeing that scene, he also felt that Spider-Man was in danger. Even if he was there, it might not be easy to break free.

After all, he didn't know the quality of the parachute. If he failed to tear it open in time, it would be difficult to deal with it if he was entangled.

Seeing that he had saved Spider-Man, Tony also relaxed a lot. It seems that his future self is not at ease with Spider-Man acting alone and keeps an eye on him at all times.

"The tracker and the heater are a good idea. I should probably install them on the armor ."

Spider-Man is fine, so Tony can calm down and start thinking about how to improve the armor. After all, there must be a reason why his future self put those things!

Tony believes that his future self must have thought it through carefully. No matter what the reason is, it will not be wrong to copy it!

Unless there is a situation like Spider-Man that needs to be corrected, the others can be added to Mark 7 and the Spider-Man armor blueprint he is thinking about for Spider-Man in the future.

[Tony looked at Spider-Man and blamed him: "What are you thinking about?"]

["That winged guy is the source of this weapon! I want to catch him!" Spider-Man raised his hand and said what he wanted to do.]

[Tony was a little angry when he heard this, "You want to kill catch people now, right? Kid, there are people responsible for this kind of thing!"]

["Avengers?"]

[Hearing this, Tony immediately denied it and said, "NONONO! This matter is not at the level of their action!"]

[Spider-Man didn't care either. He thought Tony came to save him specially, "But, Mr. Stark, you don't have to come specially! I can handle it, I'm fine!"]

[Knowing that Spider-Man had misunderstood, Tony immediately explained, "Oh! I'm not here!" Then he opened the mask of the Iron Man armor to show him.]

[The scene changed, Tony was at Indian wedding, it was daytime at this time, "Thank God there is WIFI here! Otherwise, you are out of luck now! Remember to thank Ganesha when you have time! ”]

[As he was talking, a waiter brought him a drink, and he took it and said, "Cheers!"]

[The scene returned to Spider-Man again, "Listen, please stop caring about that vulture guy!"]

["Why?" Spider-Man said he didn't understand, he wanted to prove himself!]

["Why? Because you need to do what I say!" Spider-Man's disobedience made Tony raise his voice.]

[At this time, a lady put a wreath on Tony, and Tony immediately apologized to her: "Sorry! I'm talking to a kid!"]

["Just keep your feet on the ground and help the citizen, just like you helped the lady who treated you to Churro sticks last time!"]

["Can't you just be a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man?" Tony took another sip and put it aside, coaxing Spider-Man.]

Chapter 273: Death Without a Complete Body

[While they were talking, Herman returned in a battered van. Brice, completely unaware of the grave mistake he had made, jumped out of the vehicle with a grin on his face.]

[Seeing his carefree and oblivious demeanor, Vulture’s expression darkened with fury.]

[Brice, still unaware of the situation’s severity, walked up with a smug smile. “That was insane! Too awesome!”]

[Vulture stepped forward, rubbing his forehead as he tried to suppress his anger. “How many times have I told you?! Don’t fire those weapons in public!”]

[Brice shrugged nonchalantly. “You said you wanted to sell those goods, didn’t you?”]

[“Keep a low profile! Keep a low profile!!! That’s the only way we survive! If you attract the Disaster Control Bureau or the Avengers, we’re finished!” Vulture’s frustration grew more evident.]

[“You were out there with that stupid thing! Blowing up cars and shouting ‘I’m the Shocker! I’m here to scare people!’” Vulture mocked, his voice dripping with exasperation. “What is that, a professional wrestler’s catchphrase?”]

[As Vulture scolded him, Brice rolled his eyes and walked away, looking irritated. “Why do you care what I do? Old man, seriously, give it a rest!”]

[Seeing that Brice still didn’t realize the gravity of his actions, Vulture approached him, his tone sharp. “Listen!! I know you don’t give a damn about anything! But I do!”]

[“I built this operation! Because there are people I need to protect!” Vulture tried to make Brice understand that his reckless actions jeopardized the entire team.]

[Brice waved him off dismissively. “Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.”]

[Vulture’s rage boiled over, but his face remained eerily calm. “You know what? I can’t afford your reckless stupidity anymore. Get out.”]

[“What?” Brice looked at Vulture in disbelief.]

[“You’re done. You’re not one of us anymore,” Vulture repeated coldly.]

[“Yeah? Okay!” Brice scoffed, blinking in mock surprise. “Haha! Fine! But you sure you can handle what I might do outside? I mean, I know a lot.”]

[Vulture’s expression darkened. “What did you just say?”]

[“I mean… maybe your wife would be interested in knowing where all this money comes from.” Brice smirked as he turned back toward Vulture, his voice laced with threat.]

[Vulture remained eerily calm. “Do you know what you’re doing?”]

[Brice’s grin faltered. “What?”]

[“You’re right,” Vulture said, his eyes shifting toward a weapon on the table. He turned to Mason and asked, “Does that thing work?”]

[Mason instinctively shook his head. “I… I don’t know.”]

[Vulture picked up the weapon, turned back to Brice, and repeated, “I can’t afford it.” Then, without hesitation, he aimed it at Brice.]

[“W-Wait—!” Mason instinctively tried to stop him, realizing too late what was about to happen.]

[Vulture pulled the trigger. A powerful particle beam shot out, striking Brice before he could even plead for his life.]

[His entire body disintegrated from the point of impact, turning into nothing but ash. His equipment, unaffected, fell to the ground with a dull clatter.]

"Wow! That was brutal!" Steve Rogers frowned. "He just kills anyone who poses a threat to him. We need to be extra cautious with this Toomes."

Wanda and Pietro, who had been silently watching, were visibly shaken. They had never seen someone disintegrate so suddenly, so completely.

Toomes himself looked horrified. He never expected his future self to be so ruthless—to execute Brice without a second thought.

His wife and daughter stared at him in fear. Doris instinctively pulled little Liz into her arms, holding her tightly. She had never imagined her husband capable of such a thing.

Nick Fury narrowed his eyes. He was already considering whether Toomes should be taken into custody immediately. Not to mention the mysterious black-market buyer who had been purchasing weapons from him—Aaron Davis.

Fury had already investigated Davis. The man had a criminal record, but after the Sky Curtain's revelations, he had turned himself in. His crimes weren’t severe, and since none of these events had actually occurred yet, the authorities wouldn’t hold him for long.

However, his nephew was devastated. Learning that his uncle had been buying illegal weapons was one thing—but knowing that his father, a police officer, had no idea about any of it made it all worse.

Meanwhile, S.H.I.E.L.D. had already set up a special task force dedicated to monitoring every person revealed in the Sky Curtain broadcasts. Toomes’ entire crew was under surveillance. What Toomes himself didn’t realize was that he had been on their radar from the moment he first appeared in the broadcasts.

Online discussions about Vulture were divided. Some people believed he had been forced into crime due to desperation, while others argued that he had willingly sold weapons to criminals and deserved to be brought to justice.

The revelation had drastically changed Toomes’ life. He was constantly harassed, criticized, and his work was affected. His reputation was in ruins.

Worse yet, he was now labeled a "high-risk individual," meaning he was forbidden from leaving New York. Even if he wanted to run, there was nowhere to hide. Someone would recognize him no matter where he went.

With that in mind, Toomes decided there was no point in fleeing. As long as he could avoid getting caught in another alien invasion, he might still find a way out of this mess.

[The furious Vulture stood still, staring at the weapon in his hand. His expression was unreadable. Meanwhile, Hermann, who had witnessed Brice’s gruesome fate, couldn’t help but curse under his breath. “Damn!”]

[Vulture tilted his head and looked at Mason. “I thought this was the anti-gravity gun.”]

[Mason was momentarily stunned. “What? No! That’s the anti-gravity gun!” He pointed at another weapon lying nearby.]

[He had just assumed that Vulture had meant to kill Brice outright.]

[Vulture didn't dwell on it. He tossed the gun back onto the table and stepped forward, approaching the spot where Brice had perished.]

[He picked up the mechanical gauntlet Brice had been wearing, shook off the remaining ash inside, and then tossed it to Herman. “Here. You’re the Shocker now. Go use the weapon he lost.”]

[Hermann caught the gauntlet and responded in a steady voice, “Alright.”]

“So it was an accident…” The second-generation Spider-Man, Peter Parker, looked stunned. “I thought he was just being ruthless, but… he actually grabbed the wrong weapon.”

“When Brice threatened Toomes, he should’ve realized he wasn’t going to get away unscathed,” someone else commented. “But I bet he never expected Toomes to use the wrong weapon and kill him instantly.”

Gwen Stacy sighed, rubbing the bridge of her nose. "Brice had a big mouth, but if he hadn’t pushed his luck, maybe he’d still be alive."

The team silently agreed.

There were plenty of ways to keep Brice quiet—scaring him, exiling him, or just roughing him up a little. Killing him outright, even if by mistake, would only make the rest of the crew uneasy.

Brice had only threatened Toomes personally; he wasn’t about to sell out the entire operation. All he had said was that he’d tell Toomes’ wife where the money came from—not expose the whole group.

Vulture might have regretted it, but Brice was already gone. There was no undoing it now. All he could do was move forward and hand the title of "Shocker" to someone else.

Chapter 274: Reckless Little Spider

[Just as Vulture ordered Herman to retrieve the lost weapon, he had no idea that the gun was already in Spider-Man's hands.]

[At school, Spider-Man was hammering away at the weapon. After several attempts, he finally managed to chip off a small piece of the component.]

["Thanks a lot for ditching me last night!" Ned grumbled as he approached, clearly annoyed that Peter had disappeared without a word.]

["Yeah, well... something came up!" Spider-Man explained hastily.]

[Ned's eyes widened when he saw the Chitauri energy core emitting a faint purple glow. "Whoa! What is that?"]

["No idea. Some guys wanted to use it to vaporize me," Spider-Man muttered, continuing to pry at it without fully understanding the danger he was dealing with.]

[Ned frowned. "Wait, seriously?"]

["Yeah."]

["That's... great!" Ned blurted out, then immediately realized his mistake. "Uh, no! Not great! That guy is terrible! Absolutely awful!"]

[Spider-Man shot him a deadpan look before returning his focus to the weapon. "I think this thing is some kind of power source."]

[Ned squinted at the structure. "Yeah, but it's connected to all these microprocessors."]

["That’s an induction charging pad! I use one just like this to charge my electric toothbrush!" Ned pointed at some components, demonstrating his understanding of the device.]

["Whoever made this weapon combined human and alien technology," Spider-Man murmured, surprised at the level of engineering involved.]

["That’s honestly the coolest thing I’ve ever heard," Ned said in awe. "Thank you, man! Thank you for letting me be part of this journey, for showing me—"]

[Spider-Man wasn't listening. Instead, he grabbed the hammer and smashed it against the Chitauri energy core.]

[The loud noise made both of them tense up, worried that their teacher might notice. But the teacher, completely engrossed in his book, merely said without looking up, "Don't cut your fingers on the blade."]

[Seeing that their secret was still safe, Spider-Man sighed in relief before turning back to the glowing core on the table. "I need to figure out what this is... and who made it."]

[Ned immediately jumped in, excited. "We're going to the lab after school to run some tests!"]

[The two shared a handshake, followed by a series of elaborate gestures unique to their friendship.]

"Are kids these days really this reckless?" Otto Octavius muttered, his brows furrowed as he watched Spider-Man’s careless actions.

Since the mysterious screen had exposed the failure of his own experiment, Otto had grown far more cautious when dealing with unknown technology. Seeing Peter Parker hammer away at something so clearly volatile made his stomach turn.

"He doesn't even know what he's dealing with, yet he's smashing it with a hammer like an idiot. What if it explodes? What if it takes out half the school?" Otto's frustration grew as he imagined the potential consequences.

No wonder Tony Stark kept Spider-Man restricted to small-time crime-fighting. The kid lacked maturity, and more importantly, he lacked a sense of responsibility.

It was only now that Otto realized why Tony had assigned Happy Hogan to watch over Spider-Man. Stark wanted Peter to learn restraint—to grow into someone who could handle responsibility, not just swing around recklessly on webs.

Instead, Peter Parker continued making impulsive decisions, never considering the consequences. He pried open dangerous alien technology in the middle of a school, followed criminals without backup, and never once thought to inform Happy or Stark about what he’d found.

Tony had noticed these flaws, too, but he knew they couldn’t be fixed overnight. Training Peter would take time. Thankfully, there was still time.

At school, Peter’s teacher pulled him aside to give him a stern lecture about his behavior. Unlike before, Peter listened carefully. After witnessing so much through the broadcasts, he was beginning to mature—more so than the Spider-Man he once was.

[In the hallway, Ned and Spider-Man walked side by side.]

["First, we need to put this glowing thing into the mass spectrometer," Ned suggested.]

["First, we need to come up with a better name than 'glowing thing,'" Spider-Man replied dryly.]

[Ned smirked. "You're right."]

[But before they could continue, Spider-Man suddenly stiffened. His eyes locked onto two men approaching from the opposite end of the hallway. "Oh, crap!" he muttered before quickly ducking to the side.]

["Come on, come on, come on!" he urged Ned, who hadn't yet realized the danger.]

[Ned, confused, glanced around and finally noticed what Peter had seen—Herman and Mason.]

[Mason wrinkled his nose in disgust. "High school freaks me out. It smells weird. You know what I mean?"]

[Herman, however, was focused, holding a detector in his hand and scanning for the lost weapon.]

["That guy is one of the people who tried to kill me!" Spider-Man whispered urgently to Ned.]

["Wait, what?! We need to get out of here!" Ned exclaimed, instinctively backing away.]

["No, no, no! I need to follow them," Spider-Man countered. "They might lead me to the guy who threw me into the lake!"]

["Wait... someone threw you into a lake?" Ned asked, stunned.]

["Yeah, and it was not a fun experience," Peter muttered as he watched the two men enter a classroom.]

[Without hesitation, Spider-Man started to follow.]

[Ned, a mix of concern and excitement on his face, whispered, "Peter..."]

[But Spider-Man quickly shut him down. "No! Stay here, Ned!"]

[Before Ned could argue, Peter slipped away, determined to shadow his targets. Ned hesitated for a second before calling after him, but Spider-Man was already gone.]

[At that moment, a passing student tapped on the glass, startling Ned. "What are you doing?" the student asked, raising an eyebrow.]

[Caught off guard, Ned stammered, "Uh... nothing! Yeah, nothing! What about you?"]

[The student simply pointed to a girl sitting across from him. "Playing chess."]

Chapter 275: Tracking Herman

"Damn, that gun must have had a tracker on it. That's why those guys chased him into the school. I hope nothing happens... Third Gen Peter is way too reckless! He should have called for backup!" George muttered, shaking his head in frustration.

When he saw the detector in Herman’s hand, he immediately realized that the criminals knew the weapon was in the school. However, their tracking ability wasn’t precise, meaning they had to search the area manually.

If Peter had confronted them in the school with so many students around, the risk of casualties would have been dangerously high. Yet, the young Spider-Man remained oblivious to these concerns.

"He's acting without thinking again," Otto said grimly.

Tony, watching the scene unfold, sighed. His expression darkened. This kid needs to learn how to handle situations like this properly. He made a mental note to have the teachers drill some sense into Peter Parker about responsibility—one way or another.

[Spider-Man crouched low, tailing Herman and Mason from a safe distance. He observed their every move as they entered the same studio where he had pried off the purple crystal earlier.]

["Man, can you imagine what our boss is gonna say when he finds out we're snooping around a high school?" Mason muttered, glancing around warily.]

[Herman ignored him, keeping his focus on the device in his hand. "The readings show an energy pulse around here."]

["But there's no sign of the weapon," Mason pointed out after scanning the area. "Even if it was here before, it’s long gone now."]

[As Herman turned away, Spider-Man carefully removed his backpack and inched closer. But before he could get too close, Herman suddenly spun around.]

[Spider-Man had already vanished.]

[Herman narrowed his eyes, sensing something was off. His hand instinctively went to his pistol, flipping off the safety.]

[Mason noticed his change in demeanor. "Something wrong?"]

[Herman scanned the room but saw nothing unusual. After a moment, he let out a frustrated breath and walked away.]

[The camera shifts downward—revealing Spider-Man tucked neatly under a nearby table. As soon as Herman and Mason turned their backs, he seized his opportunity.]

[A tiny mechanical spider shot out from his web-shooter, latching onto Herman's shoe undetected.]

"What the—? Is that a spider?" First-Gen Peter Parker squinted at the screen, noticing the tiny, lifelike device.

"It’s a tracker," First-Gen Gwen guessed after a moment of observation. "I didn’t realize Third-Gen Peter's suit had such advanced tech. Tony Stark really outdid himself."

"Yeah," First-Gen Peter nodded in agreement. His suit—designed by Harry Osborn—had none of these fancy gadgets. If he wanted to track someone, he had to follow them the old-fashioned way.

And that came with its own risks—being spotted, ambushed, or worse.

First-Gen Harry Osborn watched with interest. "If only we had something like that back then... A tracking function would’ve made life a whole lot easier."

Second-Gen Peter, also intrigued, stroked his chin. "That’s actually a solid idea. But Oscorp’s current situation isn’t as stable as before. No way we could develop something like that on our own right now."

Second-Gen Harry sighed. "Yeah, don’t even remind me. If we had more resources, we could probably make it work."

For now, though, Peter would have to manage with what he had.

[Back at home, Ned leaned forward excitedly, watching the image projected from the web-shooter. "Dude, this is amazing!"]

["I know, right?" Spider-Man grinned before flopping onto his bed.]

[Ned poked at the floating holographic map. "Looks like they're in Brooklyn."]

[Hours passed. Spider-Man, now hanging upside down from the ceiling, absentmindedly ate potato chips while Ned continued monitoring the tracker. "They're in Staten Island now."]

[As night fell, Ned remained glued to the screen while Spider-Man toyed with his web-shooter. He tested a setting and successfully projected a life-size image of himself onto the wall.]

[Ned, still focused on the map, muttered, "They just left Jersey City."]

[Eventually, both of them drifted off to sleep. But a loud ping woke them up suddenly. Ned, still wearing a Spider-Man mask, bolted upright and checked the display. "They stopped!"]

[Spider-Man, startled, swung down from the ceiling, flipping to face the screen. "Maryland?"]

["What's in Maryland?" Ned asked, confused.]

[Spider-Man frowned. "I dunno. Evil lair?"]

[Both boys laughed before Ned suddenly sat up. "Wait, are you serious? They have an actual hideout?"]

["Dude. A group of guys with stolen alien weapons following a guy with wings? Yeah, they have a hideout."]

["Awesome!" Ned grinned. "But… how are you gonna get there? It's, like, three hundred miles away."]

[They both paused, their eyes slowly shifting toward the decathlon poster on the wall.]

[Spider-Man turned to Ned with a smirk. "That’s not far from Washington, D.C."]

[Cut to the school parking lot. Liz and the other students were boarding the bus when Peter came running up to them.]

["Hey! Peter's here!" one of the students called out.]

[Spider-Man quickly caught his breath before smiling. "I wanna rejoin the team!"]

[Flash, of course, was not happy about this. He immediately protested, "NO! No way! You can’t just quit and then expect us to take you back!"]

[Before Flash could finish, the teacher stepped off the bus, clapping a hand on his shoulder. "Hey! Welcome back, Peter! Flash, you’re back to first substitute."]

[Flash's jaw dropped. "W-WHAT?!"]

["He took your spot!" one of the students teased.]

[Michelle Jones, standing at the back of the group, rolled her eyes. "Can we go now? I was hoping to make it to a protest before dinner."]

[The teacher chuckled. "Protesting is very patriotic. Let’s go! Everyone, on the bus!"]

[Flash, fuming, yanked off his uniform and threw it at Peter in frustration, making it clear he hated what was happening.]
