Chapter 161: It Would Be Strange if the Five Elders Weren’t Crazy!
The research results of Vegapunk could now be directly applied to the artificial production of Wood Style cells. A drug capable of modifying the human body and granting bloodline limits had significantly shortened the research and development process.
Lucas’s mood was uplifted, but the World Government, on the other hand, was growing increasingly uneasy.
At that moment, four Admiral-level powerhouses had just arrived, only to see Uchiha Madara and the others already waiting for them.
"Not only did they not escape, but they actually stayed behind to face us? Do they intend to wipe us all out? That's quite terrifying! Do they think so little of us Marine Admirals?"
Kizaru gazed at Uchiha Madara and the others on the opposite side, his tone carrying his usual lazy amusement.
Uchiha Madara smirked at him and sneered, "You weren’t so arrogant when you were running away earlier."
Kizaru's smile stiffened for a moment, but then he quickly recovered, feigning nonchalance. "I like your confidence. Guess I’ll be your opponent then—let’s go!"
As soon as he finished speaking, Kizaru's body transformed into a golden streak of light, shooting straight toward Uchiha Madara.
"Good! Come at me!"
Madara shouted, his blue chakra surging into the sky. In the blink of an eye, his Susanoo materialized, intercepting Kizaru’s attack.
"Great Eruption!"
Akainu’s expression darkened as his right hand morphed into molten lava. A massive magma fist shot forth, aiming directly at Fujitora and his group.
"Gravity Blade—Tiger!"
Fujitora remained composed, calmly unsheathing his cane-sword. A surge of dark purple gravitational force exploded forth, instantly countering Akainu’s magma attack, tearing through the molten rock with sheer gravitational pressure.
From a distance, Lucas observed Fujitora’s movements and noticed something. "Did he change his sword?"
Indeed, the weapon in Fujitora’s hands was not his original blade, though it was nearly identical in shape and style. While the quality wasn’t as high, it didn’t matter to a master like Fujitora. With his skill, he could reinforce any blade with Armament Haki, making the difference negligible.
Fujitora’s blind eyes opened slightly as he stepped forward, his feet coated in pitch-black Armament Haki. "Fleet Admiral, allow this old man to be your opponent."
For a blind man like him, facing Akainu was particularly troublesome. The molten ground made it easy to misstep, but with his Press-Press Fruit ability, he could somewhat mitigate that disadvantage.
Meanwhile, Admiral Green Bull’s gaze locked onto Senju Hashirama. A grin spread across his face. "You... I can sense something similar to myself in you. Let’s see what you’re capable of!"
With a flick of his wrist, the ground beneath him cracked apart, and a massive tree branch shot out, its tip hardened with Armament Haki as it stabbed toward Hashirama.
Hashirama’s eyes gleamed with excitement. "You can manipulate trees as well? Then let me show you what real Wood Style looks like!"
With his hands clasped together, he conjured a towering wooden wall to intercept the incoming attack.
"Wood Release: Wood Dragon Technique!"
"Wood Release: Wood Golem Technique!"
A golden-eyed wooden dragon erupted from the earth, carrying Hashirama onto its head. A massive wooden colossus emerged beside it, wrapping the dragon around its waist as it strode toward Green Bull.
Green Bull narrowed his eyes, intrigued rather than intimidated. "Now that’s interesting. Let me try something too."
Without hesitation, he activated his Logia Forest-Forest Fruit ability, summoning an enormous formation of vines and branches. A massive wooden warrior and a dragon of his own took shape, charging toward Hashirama’s creations.
On another battlefield, a chilling voice rang out.
"So, my opponent is you?"
The agent codenamed Ivory, a top-tier powerhouse from the World Government’s Cipher Pols, stepped forward. As a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit user, he had developed his abilities to the point of awakening.
With a mere thought, the land around him transformed into a sea of bones, which rapidly assembled into a towering skeletal giant wielding a massive bone sword. It lunged toward Uchiha Shisui.
Shisui’s eyes gleamed as he activated his Susanoo, its ethereal green armor surrounding him and Magellan. "This... is like Pirate World’s version of Susanoo." He muttered sarcastically.
Magellan, now enclosed within the Susanoo, unleashed his poison-based Devil Fruit abilities.
"Poison Dragon!"
Three venomous dragons coiled around him before launching themselves at the bone giant.
However, Ivory’s skeletal construct was incredibly resilient. The venom failed to penetrate its defense, rendering Magellan’s attacks useless.
Lucas stood at a distance, his expression calm and indifferent. In his hand, a white substance wriggled and shifted, transforming into White Zetsu as he infused it with chakra. Without hesitation, he used it as a sacrifice for Impure World Reincarnation—summoning the legendary Golden Lion, Shiki.
"Thinking of joining the battlefield?" Lucas asked flatly, gesturing toward the ongoing chaos. "There’s no one on the enemy's side who can match you."
In the distance, the four Admiral-level fighter sent by the World Government were completely held back. Senju Tobirama, Gengetsu Hōzuki, and Namikaze Minato were locked in battle with the elite Marine officers accompanying the Admirals.
"Armament Haki... is ineffective?"
Vice Admiral Onigumo’s sword slashed through Gengetsu Hōzuki, slicing him clean in half. However, the point of impact dissolved into liquid, and in an instant, his body reformed as if nothing had happened.
"No, it still works," Gengetsu mused with a smirk. "But my current state is... special. Your attacks mean nothing to me."
As he spoke, a large mass of water separated from his body, forming another version of himself—albeit in a smaller, almost cartoonish, chibi-like form.
"Steaming Danger!"
With a grin, Gengetsu activated his technique. The small water clone raised an arm, launching a powerful attack toward Onigumo.
Meanwhile, Senju Tobirama and Namikaze Minato flitted through the battlefield with the Flying Thunder God Technique, striking like top-tier assassins. The endless chakra supplied by Impure World Reincarnation allowed them to unleash their ultimate moves without hesitation, making up for any lack of sheer attack power.
Watching from the sidelines, Golden Lion Shiki shook his head. "No, I have no interest in this battle."
His eyes gleamed with a darker intent. "The World Government used my corpse for their experiments... I’ll make them pay." He turned to Lucas. "You remember what you told me before? Take me to Mariejois."
[Chat Group]
Whitebeard: "Golden Lion, are you sure about this? You’ll cause an uproar across the world. After all, as far as everyone knows, you’re dead."
Golden Lion Shiki: "Hah! You think I care, Whitebeard? You’re too sentimental. I’m not like you—I don’t treat my crew like family. I use them as tools. I do whatever I damn well please!"
Lucas made no attempt to stop him. If Golden Lion wanted to stir up trouble, so be it. It would be a good opportunity to observe the World Government’s response.
Without hesitation, Golden Lion took flight, lifting a massive uninhabited island with his Float-Float Fruit and heading straight for Mariejois.
"What is that...?"
A Mariejois guard squinted into the distance, his face filled with confusion as he spotted a massive shadow approaching from the sky.
"Looks like a cloud."
"Don’t be stupid. Clouds don’t get that thick."
"Yeah, and the color is off too. It’s the same as..."
"Wait... it’s an island! That’s an entire island!"
Their casual chatter quickly turned into sheer panic. As realization dawned, alarms blared throughout Mariejois. Ever since Fisher Tiger’s raid, security had been drastically increased. Within moments, top-ranking experts rushed to assess the situation.
The moment they saw who was leading the airborne attack, disbelief washed over them.
"Golden Lion Shiki?! Impossible!"
"He’s dead! The World Government used his corpse for experiments—there’s no way he could be here!"
Inside a grand chamber, the Five Elders stared through the window, their faces pale with shock.
Then, a manic, familiar laugh echoed through the sky.
"Shihahahaha!"
"Damn World Government! Damn Celestial Dragons!"
"Here’s your reward from yours truly!"
With reckless abandon, Shiki unleashed his vengeance—dropping the colossal floating island like a meteorite upon Mariejois.
"STOP IT! NOW!"
The Five Elders abandoned all pretense of dignity, dashing out in urgency.
With a flash of steel, one of them unsheathed his sword, unleashing great swordsman-level techniques that sent massive waves of sword aura slashing toward the falling island.
The other Elders joined in, while top agents stationed in Mariejois launched an all-out attack. A barrage of devastating firepower struck the descending mass, shattering it into pieces midair.
However, even the fragments were enormous—each one the size of a house.
Like a meteor shower, debris rained down upon Mariejois, causing absolute devastation. Buildings crumbled, the ground shook, and countless Celestial Dragons and government officials were buried beneath the destruction.
Amidst the carnage, Shiki hovered above, roaring with laughter.
"Shihahaha! The Five Elders themselves, looking like a bunch of pathetic fools!"
His eyes gleamed with scorn as he sneered at their battered, disheveled appearances.
"I never imagined that the so-called rulers of the world would end up this humiliated."
One of the Five Elders, his face twisted in rage, pointed his sword at Golden Lion. "Shiki! Come down here and DIE!"
Golden Lion tilted his head mockingly. "No, I refuse!"
Another Elder, the blond one, narrowed his eyes. "What’s wrong? Are you scared?"
Golden Lion chuckled. "Shihahaha! If you want to think that, be my guest!"
"Anyway, you Five Elders are experts at twisting the truth. Why should I care about your opinions? No matter what I do, you'll manipulate the narrative to suit your needs."
With a carefree shrug, he turned and flew away without another word, leaving the Five Elders seething in silence.
Their faces darkened in sheer frustration.
Golden Lion smirked to himself. "If I shamelessly ignore their provocations, their tricks are useless. Simple as that."
[Chat Group]
Sword God Ryuma: "The group leader was right. That move—island from the sky—was devastating."
Fisher Tiger: "The Five Elders must be losing their minds right now. Mariejois suffered massive casualties, and half the city was destroyed. If Golden Lion keeps this up every few months, they really might go insane!"
Chapter 162: Rule the World on Your Knees!
After bringing an island from the sky to Mariejois, Golden Lion Shiki turned and left without hesitation.
The Five Elders, despite their fury, could do nothing to stop him. They knew all too well the danger of engaging an airborne opponent. After witnessing Akainu's defeat, they understood the risks of fighting in an unfavorable environment—and they weren’t about to make the same mistake.
"Damn it!"
Their rage was palpable, but it was mixed with helplessness.
Though they cursed Shiki for his shameless tactics, they conveniently forgot that they themselves were the most shameless tyrants in the world.
"How did Golden Lion Shiki come back to life?"
"Who knows? More and more strange things keep appearing on the seas… it's becoming a real headache!"
"Forget it. We’ll deal with the aftermath first—damn that Shiki!"
They turned their gazes toward Mariejois, now reduced to ruins. Their expressions were filled with deep displeasure as they began issuing orders for cleanup efforts.
Then, a call came from Kizaru’s unit.
"The intruders possess combat power on par with ours. We are unable to subdue them. Requesting immediate reinforcements!"
The Five Elders were momentarily stunned.
"What did you just say?!"
"We sent four Admiral-level powerhouses. That force alone is enough to destroy a Four Emperors crew. And you’re telling us you still can’t take them down?!"
The agent on the other end responded grimly:
"Based on our observations, only two of them have Admiral-level strength. But… they have also taken control of Magellan and Akainu, effectively increasing their Admiral-level combat power to four."
Silence.
The Five Elders felt their heads throbbing.
"You're telling us… they’re using our own Admirals against us?!"
Suppressing their frustration, they quickly followed up:
"What about Momousagi and Chaton? Have they been controlled too?"
"Negative. No signs of them being compromised."
"Good. Hold your ground. Reinforcements are on the way."
After hanging up, Saint Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro spoke up first.
"The top agents stationed in Mariejois can’t move. They are a necessary defensive force. If reinforcements are needed… I can go personally."
Saint Shephard Ju Peter thought for a moment.
"If Garp and Sengoku is in Impel Down, they can reach the battlefield quickly."
Saint Topman Warcury frowned.
"And what about Impel Down? If they leave, who will protect it?"
Saint Jaygarcia Saturn weighed in.
"No need to send them both. Sengoku alone should be enough. The current battlefield is evenly matched. One more Admiral-level fighter will tip the scales."
Saint Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro nodded in agreement.
"Excellent. Sengoku will depart by ship, and I will personally join the fight."
At Impel Down, Sengoku was preparing to leave when Garp leaned against the wall, watching him with a disappointed expression.
"Sengoku, are you really not going to reconsider? I could go instead."
Sengoku sighed, already knowing exactly why Garp was making the offer.
"You just want to fight Akainu, don’t you?"
Garp grinned, biting into a donut.
"Tch, you caught me. But does it really matter? This is a perfect chance for me to prove my strength."
Sengoku’s eye twitched.
"Absolutely not. If I let you go, you’ll kick his ass the first chance you get. What if he somehow gets freed and returns?"
Garp snorted.
"Return? Be serious. No matter how much I look down on him, even I can’t deny his strength. But the enemy would have to be an idiot to let him come back."
Sengoku rubbed his temples.
"You say that… but should you really be talking about Akainu like this? He is the Fleet Admiral."
Garp shrugged, unconcerned.
In his eyes, Akainu was already dead.
Though Sengoku didn’t respond, he knew why Garp held such hatred. Akainu had killed Fire Fist Ace—his own grandson. Then, even after that, he still pursued Luffy relentlessly.
It wasn’t surprising that Garp wanted revenge.
[Chat Group]
Lucas: "World Government reinforcements are incoming. Time to retreat. I can sense their presence—ETA ten minutes."
Senju Hashirama: "Ten minutes? Understood. We should leave. Even if their ships are slow, top fighters can arrive quickly."
Uchiha Madara: "Tch… Retreating already? What a pity! That slippery Marine Admiral… I haven’t taught him a proper lesson yet!"
Golden Lion Shiki: "Shihahaha! You mean Kizaru? Forget it. He’s the type who avoids risks rather than taking chances to win."
Uchiha Madara: "I see… In that case, I regret choosing him as my opponent. Fighting cowards is no fun."
Senju Hashirama: "Hahaha! Meanwhile, I got lucky. I met an opponent with abilities similar to mine!"
Whitebeard: "That Logia Forest Forest Fruit ability is certainly powerful… But there’s still a clear difference between it and your Wood Style."
Lucas: "It’s because of Yang Release. The trees and plants Green Bull creates are just natural plants. They can be hardened with Armament Haki, but there’s one thing Green Bull can’t do."
Fire Fist Ace: "What’s that?"
Lucas: "Life."
Pirate King Roger: "Life? What do you mean?"
Lucas: "Senju Hashirama possesses immense Yang Release. He can infuse his creations with life energy, making them behave like living beings. Haven’t you noticed how his Wooden Golems and Wooden Dragons move? Once their eyes glow with golden light, they become much stronger."
Pirate King Roger: "Now that you mention it… that is true. After their eyes light up, they seem almost alive."
Uchiha Madara: "Group Leader! How exactly are we retreating? Are you using the Reanimation Summoning technique to summon us directly, or are we breaking out on our own?"
Uchiha Shisui: "If you use the Summoning technique from the Reanimation Jutsu, what about Magellan? Won’t he be left behind?"
Lucas: "Take Magellan with you and break through on your own. Can you handle it?"
Senju Hashirama: "Let’s try it!"
Senju Tobirama: "We’re close to the sea. That should make things easier."
Gengetsu Hōzuki: "Near the sea? Perfect! We can use the ocean to escape—no problem."
"Wood Release: Advent of a World of Flowering Trees!"
With the decision made, Senju Hashirama immediately unleashed a massive technique. Towering roots, as thick as multiple men combined, surged upward, covering the entire island in a layer of intertwining vines.
Enormous flower buds sprouted from the vines, quickly blooming—releasing a toxic pollen cloud into the air.
"It’s poisonous!"
The expressions of the Marine officers twisted in horror. The last thing anyone wanted to face was a toxin-based attack, especially after witnessing how deadly Magellan was.
"Sage Mode!"
" Sage Art Wood Release: True Several Thousand Hands”
Hashirama pressed his palms together, activating his most powerful Sage Art. His sage mark appeared, and behind him, an enormous wooden Buddha with a thousand arms materialized. Without hesitation, it launched a barrage of colossal fists toward Green Bull and the other Marine forces.
"Gravity Blade—Tiger!"
Fujitora’s face tensed as his Observation Haki detected the massive entity approaching. He swiftly unleashed horizontal gravity waves to counter the assault, then pulled a meteorite from the sky, intending to crash it down upon Hashirama’s wooden colossus.
Uchiha Madara sneered, recognizing the tactic immediately. His Rinnegan activated, summoning two enormous meteorites that plummeted toward Fujitora’s position.
One after another, the battlefield erupted in cataclysmic ultimate techniques. The scientific research island trembled under the sheer force of their combined attacks.
Had it not been for Senju Hashirama’s Advent of a World of Flowering Trees, which wrapped the island in layers of thick vines and roots, it would have already shattered into pieces.
"Retreat!"
"Everyone, get out of here!"
The Marine officers panicked, ordering an immediate retreat. Staying any longer meant certain death.
"Good chance!"
Seeing the enemy in disarray, Senju Tobirama and Gengetsu Hōzuki exchanged a glance before unleashing their abilities.
Together, they manipulated the surrounding sea, controlling its flow with devastating power.
The previously turbulent ocean, disturbed by the island’s tremors, suddenly rose into massive tidal waves under their command.
"Tsunami?" Sengoku and Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro, who were arriving by ship, looked on in horror.
"Natural disasters are the most terrifying weapons at sea…"
Their expressions darkened.
"Shit!"
"This is bad!"
"Dodge it!"
"Help me!"
Kizaru vanished in a flash of golden light, escaping the ten-thousand-ton wave crashing down.
Fujitora, reacting quickly, used his gravity powers to lift a massive rock, carrying himself, Ivory, and Green Bull to safety.
Ivory’s eyes narrowed as he noticed something strange.
"They’re not even trying to dodge?"
He watched as Uchiha Madara and the others remained on the island, not making any effort to escape.
Then—huge water spheres materialized around them.
"Water Style—Water Prison Jutsu!"
Encased in water orbs, Madara and his allies shot into the sea like cannonballs, using the momentum to glide across the surface before disappearing entirely.
"They’re gone!" Kizaru, hovering in mid-air, frowned.
"Using water they created themselves to counteract the sea… What a terrifying ability."
Ivory sighed in frustration.
"Admiral Kizaru, please take this seriously."
Kizaru shrugged, raising his hands lazily.
"I am taking this seriously. Why are you so worked up? It’s not like I let them go—I tried really hard, okay?"
Ivory’s eyelid twitched.
"Tried really hard? Of all of us, you had it the easiest!"
Kizaru smirked.
"That’s just the advantage of my Devil Fruit. What can I do about it? Besides… unless your battle record is better than mine, you don’t get to complain."
Ivory’s face darkened. He had no comeback.
Shortly after, in Mariejois, a grim report was presented to the Elders.
"The scientific research base on the island has been heavily damaged. However, our investigation confirms that Dr. Vegapunk and the SSG have been taken away.
"Not only that… The scientific equipment and experimental materials inside were also removed."
The Elders were aghast.
"How?! How did they do all this in such a short time?!"
"We don’t know. Maybe some kind of Devil Fruit ability—something beyond our understanding."
Their faces turned ashen.
"Damn it!"
"Those cursed criminals… They’ve ruined the World Government’s plans!"
Without SSG, how could they replace the Seven Warlords of the Sea?
The experimental data was gone. Vegapunk was gone. Even if they attempted to rebuild the research, it would take far too long.
"Does this mean we have to keep relying on the Seven Warlords?"
"Damn it! We were supposed to be moving toward unifying the world!"
One of the Elders clenched his fists in frustration.
"At this rate, we won’t live long enough to see the World Government’s ultimate vision realized!"
Their grand dream was slipping through their fingers.
All they could do now was preserve the status quo—maintain the fragile balance of power.
"We’re forced to compromise everywhere—"
"Compromise with the member nations of the World Government, not interfering in their affairs."
"Compromise with the Four Emperors, allowing them to dominate the New World."
"Compromise with the Seven Warlords, granting them legal authority to plunder."
"Compromise with the Marines, tolerating their insubordination time and again!"
Saint Shepherd Ju Peter slammed his fist against the table, his voice filled with rage.
"Damn it! At this point, aren’t we just ruling the world while kneeling?!"
A heavy silence fell over the room.
"We have no choice! We need their help!"
Saint Topman Warcury sighed.
"Rule the world? More like a joke."
Saint Jaygarcia Saturn gritted his teeth.
His fingers trembled in anger.
"When will we finally stand up and rule this world properly?!"
Chapter 163: My Schedule is Very Full Recently!
After the World Government cleaned up the mess caused by the ninja attack, Marine Admiral Fujitora was transferred to Mariejois to take charge of security. The Five Elders believed that Fujitora’s Press-Press Fruit ability could counter the attack of the Golden Lion Shiki.
However, Fujitora’s sense of justice had always clashed with the Celestial Dragons and the Five Elders. He despised them. How could he willingly accept the role of a mere security guard in Mariejois?
Yet, in the end, he took the job—not out of willingness, but because the Five Elders offered too much. Of course, being experienced and shrewd, they didn’t simply hand over money to Fujitora directly. Instead, they increased Marine’s military budget, ensuring that internal pressure within the Marines persuaded Fujitora to accept the position.
Three days later, Fujitora successfully repelled an attack from Golden Lion Shiki. Though Shiki regretted not being able to destroy Mariejois, he couldn’t help but admire Fujitora’s power.
"If only I had known about this strategy earlier in the past…" Shiki mused. Back then, Fujitora hadn’t yet joined the Marines, and if he had possessed his current strength, the World Government would have struggled to stop him.
Of course, with Shiki’s near-indestructible body, it wouldn’t have been difficult for him to raze Mariejois to the ground. The only reason he didn’t was because Lucas stopped him. If Shiki had truly wanted to wipe out the Celestial Dragons, he would have done so already.
In the days that followed, the World Government carefully analyzed information regarding the group of living dead and discovered something useful—the Wood Style technique Senju Hashirama had once used to restrain Kaido.
This led to a startling question:
"Could those mysterious figures actually be Lucas’s subordinates?"
One of the Five Elders frowned. “That would make sense. We’ve never heard of an ability capable of controlling a Marine Admiral, and Lucas, that man, happens to possess all sorts of unknown powers.”
Another elder scoffed. “If Lucas truly wielded such power, wouldn’t he have replaced the World Government by now?”
“That’s right,” another added. “How could a pirate with ambition restrain himself after obtaining such strength?”
“Still, while those powerful individuals are unlikely to be Lucas’s subordinates, he may very well have ties to them.”
“Should we send someone to question him directly?”
“No. That would only alert him. The World Government is already in a weakened state—we can’t afford to stir up trouble for ourselves.”
“Then our best course of action is to provoke conflict among the pirates. The seas are already teeming with restless, powerful figures. If we incite them to go after Lucas, he will be forced to seek external aid.”
“And when that happens…”
“We’ll finally uncover his true connection to those mysterious beings.”
The Five Elders quickly finalized their plan.
At that moment, in Lucas’s domain…
Momousagi stared at him, her expression filled with disbelief. “Are those strange powerhouses really your subordinates?”
Lucas shrugged. “I’ve answered this question multiple times already. If you don’t believe me, why do you keep asking?”
Momousagi frowned. “I just don’t understand—what’s your goal in all this?”
Lucas chuckled. “Are you asking why I captured you or why I haven’t declared war on the World Government?”
“Both!” Momousagi shot back.
Lucas grinned. “Believe it or not, you being here was purely an accident. As for what to do with you… I haven’t decided yet. My original plan was to send you, Chaton, and Magellan back if the World Government and Marine suffered irreparable damage—if they were too weak to stabilize the world anymore. But… the World Government turned out to be stronger than I expected. So, you can’t go back.”
Momousagi looked stunned. “Since when are you so kind?”
Lucas smirked. “And that just so happens to answer your second question. It’s because I’m kind that I haven’t declared war on the World Government. I’m a good person, you know? I was once part of the Marines—you should be aware of that. If I had been truly evil, Zephyr and Aokiji wouldn’t have supported me.”
Momousagi fell silent.
Lucas continued, “I have no intention of declaring war on the World Government for now, so just stay here quietly. Wano is isolated from the rest of the world—the World Government won’t be able to find you. It’s better for everyone this way.”
Momousagi suddenly asked, “What about Chaton and Akainu?”
Lucas replied casually, “Akainu? He’s my servant now. As for Chaton, he’s currently working in exchange for food and lodging.”
Momousagi blinked in shock. “You made him work?”
Lucas laughed. “What else am I supposed to do with him? I can’t have him fighting for me, and I wouldn’t trust him with any managerial tasks. That leaves manual labor.”
Momousagi was speechless. “Then why don’t I have to work?”
Lucas grinned. “Because I’m a man who appreciates beauty—I can’t bear to make a lovely lady like you do hard labor. To put it simply, I’m keeping you as a guest.”
Momousagi: “…”
Seeing the wary look in her eyes, Lucas waved his hand dismissively. “Relax! My schedule is very full recently, so it’s fine if you don’t agree. Anyway, I don’t have time to chat—I need to go check on a few things.”
In the Chat Group
Senju Tobirama: "Group Leader, we’ve successfully developed a drug that can artificially create bloodline limits!"
Senju Hashirama: "Does that mean it can produce Wood Style cells?"
Senju Tobirama: "Exactly! The primary material we’re working with is Wood Style cells. Compared to other bloodline-based abilities, Wood Style has a major advantage."
Lucas: "How does the drug work?"
Senju Tobirama: "It acts as a key to unlocking Wood Style and Sage Body abilities. However, the actual results depend on the user's innate talent."
Lucas: "Very good! First, let's test it in Ninja world. Once it's stable, we’ll introduce it to the Pirate World. By the way, any issues in the Ninja World recently?"
Whitebeard: "Ace and I have been watching the action near Kusagakure. Their so-called ultimate weapon—the Box of Bliss—is almost fully charged."
Lucas: "Oh? I’d like to see that for myself. Who wants to handle this situation?"
Pirate King Roger: "I’ll go! I’ve always wanted to check out the Ninja World’s so-called ‘super weapons.’ By the way, is that Box of Bliss really powerful?"
Lucas: "It’s said to be a relic from the Sage of Six Paths’ era, capable of granting wishes—like the Holy Grail. Someone once controlled it and nearly ruled the world."
Lancelot: "A wish-granting artifact? Sounds a lot like the Holy Grail. Does it also have a corrupting influence?"
Lucas: "Of course! The legend that it grants wishes is a lie. In reality, it’s a weapon of destruction and terror."
Irisviel: "That sounds way too similar to the Corrupted Holy Grail! Are we sure nothing will happen to the village charging this thing?"
Lucas: "Do we even need to ask? Of course there will be problems. Let’s go take a look at the situation in the Ninja World."
Ninja World – Kusagakure
In front of the enormous Box of Bliss, the leader of a small ninja village turned to the Kusagakure’s chief and asked hesitantly, "Are you sure this thing can help us defeat Lucas, the Conqueror?"
The Kusagakure leader sneered arrogantly. "Lucas? What is he compared to the Box of Bliss? This is the ultimate weapon of the Sage of Six Paths! Our village nearly used it to rule the world back in his era!"
The smaller village’s leader fell silent, skepticism clear in his eyes. Was there even a Kusagakure during the Sage of Six Paths’ time? If so, your village must have quite the 'ancient history'…
Nevertheless, the ritual continued.
"Box of Bliss! Help us conquer the world!"
The Kusagakure leader, his face filled with manic excitement, made his declaration.
BOOM!
As soon as his words fell, the Box of Bliss shook violently, then expanded. In the next instant, a dark, grotesque monster leaped out.
Its unsettling form had elongated arms and legs, sharp wings, an oversized head, and a shrunken torso—just looking at it made one feel nauseous.
ROOOAAAR!
Without hesitation, the creature lunged forward, stabbing its claw straight through the Kusagakure leader’s heart.
Even as he died, disbelief filled the leader’s eyes. Didn’t you promise to help me rule the world? Why are you attacking me instead?!
"RUN!"
Seeing their leader fall in an instant, the gathered ninjas panicked and fled, their terror spreading like wildfire. Their chaotic escape triggered even more disorder, sending the entire village into a state of pure chaos.
Some shinobi stood their ground, trying to fight the beast while avoiding being trampled by the stampede.
Outside the Kusagakure – In the Skies
Floating high above the battlefield, Lucas silently observed the unfolding disaster below.
In the Chat Group
Lancelot: "So this is the creature from the Box of Bliss? It doesn’t look that strong."
Irisviel: "Are we sure it’s as terrifying as the legends claim?"
Lucas: "Of course! Though it represents fear and destruction, it’s far weaker compared to the true evils of this world. Who wants to take care of it?"
Pirate King Roger: "Me! Me! Me! Group Leader, summon me over!"
Lucas had previously discovered Roger’s DNA in Vegapunk’s experimental base. Using Reanimation Jutsu, he summoned the legendary Pirate King into the Ninja World, ready to let him wreak havoc.
Whitebeard: "Gurararara! I wouldn’t mind testing this monster’s strength myself. By the way, does it have a name?"
Lucas: "Born in enlightenment, moves with enlightenment, dies with enlightenment—its name is Satori [Enlightenment]."
Golden Lion Shiki: "Shihahaha! That’s a great name. I want in on the action too!"
Lucas: "All three of you going in at once? That’s a bit unfair to Satori."
Golden Lion Shiki: "Not my problem! It’s been too boring lately!"
Lucas: "Alright then. If that’s what you want, go ahead!"
With a wave of his hand, Lucas activated the Summoning Technique, and three coffins slowly emerged from the ground.
As the lids creaked open, Whitebeard, Roger, and Shiki stepped out, eyes gleaming with battle intent.
Without hesitation, the three legendary pirates launched themselves toward the battlefield, eager to test their strength against the so-called ultimate weapon.
Lucas watched them go, his expression indifferent. He had no particular fondness for Kusagakure.
Chapter 164: Another New Member Joins the Group!
The three legendary pirates attacked together, and a mere Satori was no match for them. It was completely overpowered, beaten relentlessly like a sandbag.
In the past, Whitebeard, Roger, and Shiki could have also defeated Satori, but not as effortlessly as they did now. However, thanks to Lucas’s Edo Tensei enhancement, their strength had skyrocketed.
Techniques that once required massive chakra reserves and long cooldowns could now be used freely and continuously. Against such overwhelming power, Satori never stood a chance.
By the end of the battle, the monster was obliterated into dust, and the Box of Bliss was completely destroyed. Kusagakure was reduced to rubble, along with the ragtag forces that had gathered in an attempt to challenge Lucas.
With this victory, no force in the Ninja World dared to oppose Lucas or Tenkagakure [Hidden Village of the World] . Even those who had been hesitant—clans, ninja factions from overseas islands, and the underground black market—reluctantly acknowledged reality and went to Tenkagakure to register.
And with that, the entire Ninja World changed.
Spy operations, secret battles, and political tension vanished overnight. With no more scattered ninja villages, there were no spies sneaking around, and no wars threatening to engulf the world at any moment.
For the first time in history, peace and stability took root in the Ninja World.
Tenkagakure – Lucas’s Office
Standing by the window in the Tenkage [Heavenly Shadow] Office, Lucas silently observed the village below.
The reason?
He was providing live vision to the chat group members.
In the Chat Group
Senju Hashirama: "Tenkagakure is even more prosperous and peaceful than Konoha... I truly hope this peace lasts forever."
Uchiha Madara: "Tch, eternal peace? That’s not so simple. Conflict is rooted in human nature—it’s nearly impossible to eliminate. However, as long as the Group Leader’s rule remains absolute, ninja wars won’t break out."
Lucas: "No, you’re wrong! While fighting may never be completely eradicated, achieving overall peace is possible."
Senju Tobirama: "Oh? What’s your plan, Group Leader?"
Uchiha Madara: "I’m curious too. I’ve lived through the First, Second, and Third Ninja Wars, and no matter how peaceful things seem now, I can’t relax."
Senju Hashirama: "Madara, what do you mean?"
Uchiha Madara: "It’s simple. After every Ninja War, there was always a temporary period of peace—just like what we’re seeing now. But after about twenty years, war would break out again."
Howard Stark: "A twenty-year truce? That sounds just like what happened in my world. The arrogance and greed of the victors led to another war."
Uchiha Madara: "No, that’s not the reason. The twenty-year truce exists because it takes time to raise and train a new generation of soldiers. The moment enough new ninjas exist to replenish military forces, war begins again."
Uchiha Madara: "Right now, the ninja world is at peace, but that’s only because so many ninjas died in the unification battles led by the Group Leader. Every remaining ninja has a role, a purpose. But if the ninja population grows too large and there aren’t enough missions to go around… war will return."
Uchiha Madara: "Of course, this time is different. With the Group Leader’s power, war may never break out again."
Lucas sighed. "Madara, seems like you didn’t just sit around doing nothing all those years in hiding."
Uchiha Madara: "Hahaha! I spent years underground in darkness. Thinking was the only thing I had to pass the time."
Lucas: "But don’t worry. What you’re talking about won’t be an issue. The Ninja World is unified now—there’s no longer any need for expansion or conquest. As long as we control the number of ninjas and ensure everyone has a role, peace will be maintained."
Lucas had seen similar historical cycles in his previous world’s history classes—the rise, prosperity, and decline of nations. That knowledge gave him a strategic advantage in maintaining control over Tenkagakure.
Uchiha Madara: "That could work… but managing it will be a huge undertaking."
Lucas: "No need to stress about it—after all, I have a whole bunch of ‘tools’ like you guys to handle the workload, don’t I?"
The Chat Group’s Reaction
Tool Members: "…"
Lucas: "Believe me, advancements in science and technology will make most problems easier to solve. As long as the world develops rapidly, people will be too distracted to focus on minor issues."
Senju Tobirama: "Group Leader, what are your plans for the Ninja World now?"
Lucas: "I’ll focus on training elite fighters and managers to prepare for the takeover of the Pirate World government. At the same time, I’ll introduce advanced technology from the Pirate World to accelerate global development."
Pirate King Roger: "Wait… I just realized something. What about the daimyos in this world? Aren’t they technically the rulers? Ninjas were originally just mercenaries hired by them."
Lucas: "Daimyos? Let them stay for now. Too many ninjas still cling to outdated traditions and blindly respect them."
Sword God Ryuma: "Only weak ninjas care about daimyo. Those with true power look down on figureheads who hold nothing but empty titles."
Lucas: "Exactly. As long as I don’t take them seriously, they won’t be a problem. Once I bring the ninjas into the Pirate World, I can deal with them however I like."
Uchiha Madara: "Hah… Suddenly, I regret it. Why did I ever believe the stone tablet’s prophecy? If I hadn’t, I could have unified the Ninja World myself after Hashirama’s death!"
Senju Hashirama: "???"
Senju Tobirama: "Seems like Black Zetsu really fooled you! If you hadn’t been obsessed with Infinite Tsukuyomi, you might have resurfaced to shake the world after my brother’s death."
Uchiha Madara: "Tobirama, what are you implying? If I had unified the Ninja World, it would have been at peace a long time ago!"
Senju Tobirama: "No, it wouldn’t. You lack three things—the Group Leader’s power, his strategic mind, and the resources at his disposal. Without those, you’d never achieve the same results."
Sensing another argument brewing between his brother and Madara, Hashirama quickly changed the subject.
Senju Hashirama: "Group Leader, what should us ‘living dead’ do now?"
Lucas: "Do whatever you want, as long as it doesn’t disrupt the bigger picture."

Ding! Tatsumi has joined the chat group!
Ding! Lo Pei has joined the chat group!
Ding! Han Fei has joined the chat group!
Ding! Dongfang Yuechu has joined the chat group!
Ding! Liu Xing has joined the chat group!
A series of system notifications rang out, announcing the arrival of five new members.
Seeing their names, Lucas hesitated.
"Are these the people I know?"
If so… then almost all of them died tragic deaths.
Tatsumi – The protagonist from Akame ga Kill. He died in the anime finale, but survived in the manga.
Lo Pei – The old mage from Jackie Chan Adventures. That show had barely any deaths… so how did he end up here?
Han Fei – If this was the Han Fei from his world history, Lucas knew little about him. But if it was Han Fei from The Legend of Qin, then he definitely died in the story. [a significant character in the Qin's Moon (秦时明月) spin-off, Nine Songs of the Moving Heavens (天行九歌). is a Chinese animated series produced by Sparkly Key Animation Studio. It serves as a prequel to "Qin's Moon" (also known as "The Legend of Qin") and focuses on the events leading up to the unification of China under the Qin dynasty. The series centers on Han Fei, the Ninth Prince of the Han State, and his formation of the clandestine group known as Quicksand. The narrative delves into the political intrigue, power struggles, and alliances during the Warring States period, highlighting Han Fei's strategic genius and his efforts to strengthen the Han State against internal and external threats. The show combines historical elements with fictional storytelling, offering a rich portrayal of ancient China's complex socio-political landscape]
Dongfang Yuechu – If it was the one from Fox Spirit Matchmaker, then yes, he was definitely dead. [Dongfang Yuechu (东方月初) is a major character in Fox Spirit Matchmaker. Fox Spirit Matchmaker is a Chinese anime (donghua) adapted from the manhua (comic) of the same name. It blends romance, fantasy, and historical elements, set in a world where humans and spirits (mainly fox spirits) coexist, but their love is often fleeting due to the short lifespan of humans. a world where humans and fox spirits share history, the Tu Shan fox clan runs a matchmaking service that helps reincarnated lovers rekindle past-life memories to continue their romance. The story follows various couples, with a central focus on Tu Shan Honghong, a powerful fox spirit, and Dongfang Yuechu, the successor of the Dongfang family.]
Liu Xing – If this was Liu Xing from Stealing Star September, then he shouldn’t have died… [a Chinese manhua series. In this series, the main character is Liu Xing, he story revolves around Liu Xing and a mysterious girl named Jiu Yue (September). Their fates intertwine as they navigate a world filled with supernatural events, secret organizations, and complex relationships.]
[*Tl: A new member, but 3 are from Chinese story, I tried my best to find and explain who this people are since most reader will probably have know ideas where this character came from. Sorry if there to many explanation]
"Interesting."
Lucas smirked.
"The chat group keeps expanding, and its features are improving."
After the last new member joined, the chat group had unlocked a new function—the ability to view the past lives of group members.
Activating the feature, Lucas examined the five newcomers.
A moment later, his expression became strange.
"These five unlucky guys… all of them, without exception, were killed because of transmigrators!"
Even those who were supposed to survive in their original worlds had their fates altered because of otherworldly interferences.
In the Chat Group
Tatsumi: "A… chat group? Chat Group for the Dead?"
Lo Pei: "Spirits?! Bah! Lo Pei is already dead! How can consciousness remain? This must be black magic!"
Tatsumi: "Dead? Yeah… I guess I am. Damn it! Why did that random bastard kill me?!"
Dongfang Yuechu: "I do recall dying… Tell me, what kind of spell is this? If you have nothing important to say, don’t interrupt me—I'm off to reincarnate and seek revenge."
Han Fei: "A spirit? Reincarnation? No! I haven’t even realized my ambitions yet—why am I dead?!"
Golden Lion Shiki: "Shihahaha! I like this batch of newcomers! All of them have guts, unlike those paranoid ninjas!"
Senju Tobirama: "Bastard Golden Lion, who are you calling paranoid?"
Golden Lion Shiki: "Who else? You ninjas! Always scheming and suspicious! What, you don’t like being called out?"
Uchiha Shisui: "Being cautious is a fundamental skill for any ninja. If anything, I'm proud of it!"
Senju Tobirama: "Well said!"
Chapter 165: Love Triangle? Yes!
Pirate King Roger: "Shouldn't you be more concerned about the newcomers? Why are you two arguing instead?"
Senju Tobirama: "Because Shiki, that damn Golden Lion, is insufferable. His loud mouth makes it impossible to ignore him."
Golden Lion Shiki: "Afraid to hear the truth? Hypocrites, all of you. I’ve never cared about what people say about my actions—good or bad."
Whitebeard: "Gurararara! That includes your rotten luck, doesn’t it?"
Golden Lion Shiki: "That was just an unfortunate turn of events! It wasn't my fault I lost that day!"
Liu Xing: "Wait a second! Are all the members of this chat group spirits? If that’s the case, shouldn’t you all be from different worlds?"
Senju Hashirama: "Oh? And how did you figure that out?"
Liu Xing: hesitates "If I told you that in my world, you're all just characters from stories, would you believe me?"
Pirate King Roger: "Is that true? Group Leader, what do you say?"
Lucas pondered for a moment before replying.
Lucas: "Let me clarify one thing—you are all real. The world is a mysterious thing. Sometimes, it projects events from one world into the minds of certain people in another."
Liu Xing: "Wait, seriously?"
Lucas: "Of course! Ever wonder how renowned authors create such legendary stories? Imagination and writing talent alone aren’t enough. The real reason is that they receive projections from other worlds, which constantly inspire them."
Liu Xing: "That makes sense! So those writers aren’t just creative; they’re unknowingly receiving information from another world?"
Lucas: "Exactly!"
In Liu Xing’s world, anime was a major form of entertainment. There were even people who specialized in cosplaying characters from different series. Lucas was certain of this.
Liu Xing: "Then what’s the deal of this chat group?"
Lucas: "Mainly you can send me your abilities, and I can help you fulfill some of your unfinished wish."
Liu Xing: "Abilities? Oh! I get it! I have a sixth sense and an awakening talent for the seventh. Is that what you mean?"
Lucas: "That’s right!"
Dongfang Yuechu: "Wait! What if this is just a scam?"
Lucas: chuckles "The old gentleman is quite cautious! If you’re skeptical, you’re welcome to observe the chat group for a while before making any decisions."
Gengetsu Hōzuki: "Whoa, Group Leader, is this a change in personality? I remember when we first joined, you were really impatient!"
Lucas: "That’s because I don’t really need anything at the moment. In other words, there’s nothing particularly tempting for me right now."
Howard Stark: "Nani? That’s kinda sad. So if they don’t offer anything interesting, does that mean you’ll reject their trade?"
Lucas: "Nah, I wouldn’t go that far. Fate brought them here, so I don’t mind accepting something ‘so-so.’"
Whitebeard: "One of the new members are staying quiet… Maybe they’re planning to observe before making a decision? But if that’s the case, are their worlds safe for now?"
Lucas : "I checked. There won’t be any immediate problems in their worlds. If they want to play it safe, I won’t rush them. I actually have something to take care of right now, so it’s fine if they take their time."
Senju Hashirama: "Group Leader, what are you busy with? Ninja World and Pirate World are both in a maintenance phase, so there shouldn’t be much going on, right?"
Lucas: "I’m heading to the Marvel world. It’s time to go. @Howard Stark @Sebastian Shaw, are you ready?"
Sebastian Shaw: "Really? Then I’m looking forward to it!"
Marvel Universe – New York City
Lucas arrived in the heart of a bustling metropolis. It was nighttime, and the entire city was illuminated by dazzling lights. Standing atop a skyscraper, he surveyed his surroundings and allowed the chat group members to see through his perspective.
Howard Stark: "Hey! Isn’t this New York? I know this place like the back of my hand!"
Uchiha Shisui: "@Sebastian Shaw, did you die in this city?"
Sebastian Shaw: "Why would you assume that?"
Uchiha Shisui: "Because I gave the Group Leader access to the Naruto world, and the place he arrived at was exactly where I died."
Sebastian Shaw: "Well, seems like your theory is wrong. Whoever provides the pass doesn’t necessarily determine where the traveler will arrive."
Howard Stark: "That makes sense! We don’t have enough data to form a pattern. Group Leader, can you check in on my son while you’re here?"
Lucas: "No problem!"
Lucas fully activated his Observation Haki, keeping a sharp eye out for any major threats in the Marvel Universe. If any of the big players came looking for trouble, he was ready to retreat to the Naruto world at a moment’s notice.
Although Lucas wasn’t confident about taking on the strongest figures in Marvel, he was certain that the system’s abilities were formidable. Even if he couldn’t defeat them, escaping was definitely within his capabilities.
"So far, no one’s detected me… Looks like I have the system to thank for that!"
Lucas thought about it for a moment and ultimately credited the system for his unnoticed arrival.
Activating Transparency, he turned his body invisible, then used the Float-Float Fruit to levitate in the air. Drifting forward, he positioned himself in front of the towering building where he had been standing moments ago.
Stark Tower.
Howard Stark: "Wait a second… This is Stark Industries' headquarters? No wonder it felt so familiar! This is my building!"
Sebastian Shaw: speechless "You couldn’t even recognize your own building? Seriously?"
Howard Stark: "Listen, I’ve only been in this chat group for less than a year, but my experiences here have been so intense that it feels like centuries have passed. My original memories have been a bit… diluted."
Senju Hashirama: "But just now, you recognized several landmarks and said you were familiar with the city."
Howard Stark: sighs "Fine, you got me! I recognize the city because I used to stand by my office window, looking out at the skyline. So when I saw those iconic buildings just now, they felt familiar."
Uchiha Madara: "And yet, despite all that, you didn’t realize you were standing on top of your own building? Care to explain that one?"
Howard Stark: "Simple—I’ve never stood on the rooftop before. I’m just an ordinary guy; I don’t go climbing skyscrapers for fun. Sounds like a pretty perfect explanation, don’t you think?"
Senju Hashirama: "Perfect! My apologies, I almost forgot that you’re just a regular man. Speaking of which, aren’t you the only ordinary man in this chat group?"
Lucas: "Yeah. He’s just an ordinary guy. The rest of you? A little more than that."
Howard Stark: "…"
I'm just an ordinary person… Sorry for being such a disappointment!
Lucas: "Your son isn’t in the building right now. I’ll check in on him tomorrow. For now, I need to find a place to gather more information about this world."
Howard Stark: "Group Leader, you should go to my house! If you want to understand this world, my son can definitely help you."
Senju Hashirama: "How is your son supposed to help if he doesn’t even know the Group Leader?"
Howard Stark: "Isn’t that exactly what makes it interesting?"
Lucas: grinning "Good idea! I’ve been thinking about reincarnating you anyway—so you can finally put that brilliant scientific mind of yours to good use. You’re wasting away in this chat group!"
Howard Stark: "So I’m just another tool for the Group Leader now? What an honor."
Under Howard Stark’s guidance, Lucas arrived at Stark’s residence, where he found Tony Stark lounging at home. But Tony wasn’t alone—there was a stunning blonde woman with him.
Howard Stark: stunned "Tony… has a girlfriend?! Ahem! Group Leader, please leave immediately!"
Regret flashed across Howard’s face. If he had known, he wouldn’t have let Lucas come here. His daughter-in-law might be in danger now!
Lucas: unconcerned "Relax. She’s not his girlfriend—just a playmate. Your son is a well-known playboy, after all. He changes women faster than his wardrobe. He’s practically a national treasure when it comes to enriching the entertainment industry!"
Howard Stark: "…"
Howard Stark: serious "It’s my fault. I failed to raise him properly… What a shame! He inherited my intelligence, but not my devotion to a single partner!"
Howard said this with a straight face, convinced that Tony Stark was a good kid—his only flaw being his lack of romantic commitment.
Lucas: mocking "Have you forgotten that I can check your background? Don’t act so high and mighty—you and Tony are two peas in a pod."
Howard Stark: "…"
I’m worried now…
At that moment, Golden Lion Shiki suddenly spoke up.
Golden Lion Shiki: "Group Leader, does this world have love triangles too? I feel like that’s something universal."
Lucas: "Love triangle? Oh, definitely."
Senju Tobirama: interested "Who’s involved?"
Howard Stark: stunned "No way… My exceptional son got caught in a love triangle?"
Now Howard was genuinely concerned. After joining the chat group, he had fully realized how dangerous love triangles could be. The last thing he wanted was for his son to get entangled in one.
Lucas: chuckling "The love triangle in this world is a little different from what you might expect. There are no women involved."
Pirate King Roger: stunned "Group Leader… You’re joking, right?"
Irisviel: excited "No way! That’s so thrilling!"
