[OP Marine Officer Luffy] Chapter 366- 370

Chapter 366: Robin Joins, The New Monster Brothers of the East Blue

Robin's eyes widened in shock as she took in the sight of two massive Poneglyph—one red and one blue. They stood before her like ancient sentinels, their presence commanding reverence.

Noticing her astonishment, Luffy grinned and began to explain.

“Originally, Wano Country had three Poneglyph,” he said. “But when Kaido’s men fled after his defeat, they took a piece from Onigashima with them. That left us with these two pieces.”

He gestured toward the massive stones. “One of them was hidden in a secret underground cell in the shogun’s mansion, while the other was buried deep within the Mountain—right beneath our feet. Because of their locations, they escaped detection by Fleet Admiral Sengoku and his forces.”

Robin turned to him, curiosity shining in her eyes. “That’s quite fortunate, but how did you manage to find them?”

She approached the texts, her fingers gently tracing the ancient inscriptions. Her fascination was evident, but so was her curiosity about Luffy’s methods.

Luffy, of course, couldn’t admit he had knowledge from the original storyline. Instead, he crafted a plausible explanation.

“My Observation Haki is... unique,” he said confidently. “It’s different from others because it synergizes with my magnetism. It allows me to detect even the smallest details within a wide range. And I had help.” He chuckled. “My deputy intelligence chief, with her Glare-Glare Fruit, is a game-changer. I’ll introduce you two later.”

Robin nodded, accepting his explanation. Without further questions, she pulled out a pen and paper and began diligently translating the texts.

The others, recognizing the importance of her work, left her undisturbed and waited patiently. When Robin finally finished decrypting the inscriptions, she exhaled deeply, the weight of her discovery evident on her face.

Over the past six months, Robin had experienced a journey unlike any other. In the past, she would spend years—sometimes decades—searching for a single piece of Poneglyph. Now, under Luffy’s guidance, she seemed to stumble upon one after another. It was as if fate itself had handed her a cheat code.

The red text, in particular, reignited her hope of reaching Raftel and uncovering the secrets of the Blank Century. Her heart raced with excitement as she carefully stored her notes, ensuring every detail was preserved.

Turning to Luffy, Robin’s gaze softened. Her eyes sparkled with something akin to admiration. “Perhaps staying by your side was the right choice,” she said. “With you, I never know what surprises are waiting around the corner.”

Luffy’s face lit up. “Does that mean... you’ve decided to stay?”

Robin smiled, a playful glint in her eyes. “For now,” she replied. She walked toward him, her movements graceful and deliberate, and extended her right hand.

Luffy’s heart swelled with excitement. He reached out eagerly, only for Robin to bypass him entirely and shake hands with Ain and Koala instead.

“I’ll be counting on you two,” she said warmly. “Take care of me.”

The two girls beamed. “Welcome to the team, Sister Robin~!” they chimed in unison.

Luffy stood frozen, his hand still outstretched, his face a picture of disbelief. “...Seriously?” he muttered under his breath.

More than six months passed, and Luffy celebrated his 14th birthday. The occasion was joyous but brief, as Luffy quickly returned to his duties. Two days after his birthday, however, something in the morning newspaper caught his eye.

The front-page headline of the World Economic News screamed:
“The New Seven Warlords of the Sea Defeated! The New Monster Brothers of the East Blue!!”

Luffy’s eyes widened as he read the headline again, making sure he hadn’t misread it. The story detailed the defeat of Hanafuda, a powerful pirate who had been recruited as one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea just a month earlier. His defeat came at the hands of a group of rookie pirates from the East Blue.

Normally, Luffy wouldn’t pay much attention to such news. While intriguing, it usually had little to do with him. But this time, one detail froze him in place: the photo accompanying the article.

Two figures stood side by side in the picture. One had black hair and freckles, the other blond hair and a familiar, unscarred face.

“Ace?! Sabo?!” Luffy’s voice cracked as he shouted their names. He stared at the photo, his mind racing. “What the hell is going on?! How did Ace and Sabo form a pirate crew and set sail together?!”

Gripping the newspaper tightly, he leaped from his office chair, his sudden outburst startling the women working nearby. Ain, Koala, and Robin all turned to him in surprise.

“Luffy, what’s wrong?” Koala asked, concern evident in her voice.

Luffy ignored them, his focus solely on the article. He skimmed through it, reading every detail carefully. The report explained how Ace and Sabo had gained fame in the East Blue over the past few months. Initially dismissed as small-time rookies, they began making waves after entering the Grand Line.

Yesterday, they achieved a shocking victory by defeating Hanafuda, a notorious pirate and user of a Zoan-type Devil Fruit. Their triumph marked them as rising stars in the pirate world.

Ace, now the captain of the Spade Pirates, had earned the epithet "Fire Fist." His bounty had skyrocketed from 35 million to an astonishing 150 million berries following the battle.

Chapter 367: Ace and Sabo Go Out to Sea!

The latest issue of the World Economic News revealed a shocking development: the vice-captain of the Spade Pirates, the "nobleman" Sabo, had his first bounty issued—and it was a staggering 95 million berries. The article highlighted his role in defeating the new Shichibukai, Hanafuda.

What stunned Luffy the most, however, was the headline:
"The New Monster Brothers of the East Blue!"

Because Ace and Sabo were sworn brothers and equally powerful, Morgan, the eccentric president of the newspaper, had dubbed them the "Monster Brothers."

Luffy stared at the headline, gripping the paper tightly. "What the hell is going on?!" he shouted, his voice tinged with disbelief. “Sabo doesn’t even have his scar, and now he’s a pirate?! And not just any pirate—he’s stolen Cavendish’s moniker and become the noble prince of the sea! This is insane!”

His heart was in turmoil as he tried to process the revelation. He had known from Koala months ago that Sabo wasn’t in the Revolutionary Army, but he never imagined Sabo would set sail with Ace.

Luffy leaned back in his chair, his mind racing. Sabo is smart, capable, and now he’s Ace’s deputy captain. With someone like him at his side, will Ace still join the Whitebeard Pirates in this timeline? Will the events of the original story play out the same way?

A grin slowly spread across his face, and he chuckled. “Hehehe, this is getting more and more interesting. If everything stayed the same, my being here would be pointless. But now? Now, it’s worth it. Hahaha!”

As Luffy laughed to himself, clutching the newspaper, Ain and Koala exchanged puzzled looks. Finally, Ain stepped forward, frowning as she lightly tapped him on the head.

“Hey, what’s so funny? What’s got you grinning like that?” she asked, leaning closer to peek at the newspaper.

Luffy smirked and casually handed her the paper. “Take a look for yourself,” he said, crossing his legs as he reclined in his chair. “It’s about my grandfather’s adopted grandson and my sworn brother. They’ve gone out to sea as pirates and even managed to defeat a new Shichibukai. I bet the Fleet Admiral’s having a meltdown right now and tearing into Gramps! Haha!”

Hina, who had already seen the day’s news, raised an eyebrow in surprise. “Wait, those brothers are related to you? Why didn’t they join the Marines instead of becoming pirates?”

Luffy shrugged nonchalantly. “Everyone has their own dreams. If they want to be pirates, who am I to stop them? Besides, I know them—they’re nothing like the ruthless scum out there. They won’t harm innocent people.”

He spoke with such confidence and conviction that it was hard to argue. Almost as soon as he finished speaking, the Den Den Mushi on his desk began to ring. Without needing to guess, Luffy knew exactly who it was.

“Must be Gramps,” he muttered, his grin widening. “Bet he’s mad after getting an earful from Sengoku.”

But Luffy wasn’t in the mood to deal with Garp’s temper. With a quick “hello” to his girls, he patted his coat, left the office, and disappeared down the hall.

Ain watched him leave, sighing as she picked up the receiver. “He always finds a way to skip out on the tough stuff,” she grumbled.

Half a year had passed since Luffy’s arrival in Wano. During that time, he had accomplished remarkable feats, including relocating Onigashima to the base of the harbor’s mountain entrance. The transformation of Onigashima was extraordinary.

Luffy’s efforts had turned the island into a hub of commerce and entertainment. Playgrounds, spas, and other leisure facilities now dotted the once-ominous landscape. Even more striking was the influx of red-light district workers—prostitutes and geishas—who had been invited to settle on the island.

In addition, Onigashima became a center for trade in Seastone products, rare and highly sought after in the outside world. Once the island opened its doors, it attracted merchants and tourists from across the seas. In just a few months, it had become one of the most important commercial and tourist destinations in the New World.

“Mero, mero, mero~!”

The distinct sound of Hancock’s Devil Fruit echoed through the air as Luffy set foot on the island. Before him stood a group of pirates, now reduced to stone statues by her power.

Hancock, as stunning as ever, stood amidst the chaos. She wore a sleek, solid-colored sleeveless sweater that hugged her figure and highlighted her infamous curves. A black leather miniskirt, paired with stockings and high heels, completed the ensemble.

Luffy couldn’t help but stare, momentarily entranced. Is she even real? he thought. She looks like a goddess!

Hancock, ever regal, brushed a strand of her long black hair behind her ear. Turning to the few pirates who hadn’t yet succumbed to her power, she declared, “Leave this place, you filthy scum. This island belongs to my husband. Your presence here defiles it!”

The surviving pirates, trembling in fear, glanced at their comrades who had been petrified in an instant. Their deputy captain and senior crew members had already fallen, leaving the rookies shaken and paralyzed with dread.

Yet, one man still found the courage to speak. The leader of the pirate crew, his voice shaking with rage and desperation, stepped forward.

“Boa Hancock!” he roared. “Don’t think that just because you’re one of the Shichibukai, you’re better than us! You’re a pirate too—no different from the rest of us, the scum of the sea!”

Chapter 368: Hancock: "I'll Take You to a Fun Place~"

Waigar, a pirate supernova with a bounty of 220 million berries in the first half of the Grand Line, knew his fate was sealed. His crew was no match for the situation, and defeat was inevitable. Resigned, he threw in the towel, hoping to satisfy his greed one last time before the end.

Hancock, standing before him with her signature air of dominance, regarded him as one might an insignificant ant. Her expression betrayed neither pity nor concern. To her, Waigar was nothing more than an obstacle to be removed.

Still, Hancock felt the need to correct his misconceptions.

“Idiot,” she said coldly. “I have never acknowledged myself as a pirate. The group I lead has always been a sailing squad, recognized by the World Government itself. It is my duty as the ruler of a member nation of the government.”

She tilted her head slightly, her piercing gaze fixed on Waigar. “The title of Pirate Empress? That’s nothing but nonsense spread by the newspapers.”

Her words were so confident and matter-of-fact that Waigar was left speechless. His mind struggled to process her claim, but before he could formulate a response, Hancock decided she had wasted enough time.

“Mero Mero Mellow!” she declared.

Waigar’s eyes widened in terror as pink, heart-shaped arrows rained down from above. He barely had time to react before he and his remaining crewmates were turned into lifelike stone statues, their expressions frozen in a mix of fear and lust.

A moment of silence passed before the dock erupted in thunderous applause. Merchants, nobles, wealthy businessmen, and tourists alike—all present to witness the spectacle—cheered for the goddess before them. Their admiration knew no bounds, regardless of gender, age, or status.

“Long live Lady Hancock!”

“Your Majesty Hancock, look this way!”

“She’s so beautiful! I can’t stand it!”

The crowd’s adoration was unrelenting, but Hancock found no joy in it. Instead, she turned on them with an expression of irritation, her finger pointing accusingly.

“Silence!” she commanded. “Don’t stare at me like that! My body and soul belong solely to my beloved. You’re not even allowed to look!”

Her declaration left the men in the crowd utterly heartbroken. Their goddess was so fiercely devoted to her man that it shattered their dreams. Their eyes filled with envy and longing, turning red with frustration.

Luffy, watching from a distance, had initially intended to greet Hancock, but the palpable resentment radiating from the crowd made him reconsider. A bead of cold sweat formed on his forehead as he took a cautious step back.

Good thing I didn’t wear my coat today, he thought with relief. If I drew any attention, I’d probably get torn apart by this mob.

Satisfied with his decision to stay under the radar, Luffy sent a discreet message to Hancock using his den den mushi, letting her know he was nearby. Moments later, as the crowd continued their fervent applause, Hancock seemed to sense something. Her expression softened, and a radiant smile spread across her face.

“Dear~” she called out, her voice filled with affection.

The crowd followed her gaze, searching for the person who had caught her attention. But no one was there. Confused, they turned back, only to find that their goddess had vanished without a trace.

On Hanami Street

Luffy strolled alone down Hanami Street, a district known for its bustling entertainment and its many geishas and courtesans. He had only taken a few steps when he felt a soft, warm pressure envelop his arm.

Looking down, he saw Hancock clinging to him, her arms wrapped tightly around his. Her radiant beauty was magnified by her soft smile, and Luffy couldn’t help but chuckle. He reached out and tapped her forehead lightly, a playful smile on his lips.

“Our Lady Empress is as popular as ever,” he teased. “I’m so terrified I don’t even dare to approach you.”

Hancock, now wearing a delicate veil, looked nothing like the imposing figure she had been moments ago. In Luffy’s presence, she shed her icy exterior, transforming into a gentle and affectionate woman.

She raised her large, expressive eyes to meet his, her cheeks flushing a soft pink. “Ah~ Jealous Luffy is so cute. I like him so much!” she cooed, nuzzling her head against his chest.

Luffy blinked in confusion. “Jealous? When did I get jealous?” he muttered, though he knew better than to argue with Hancock’s unique perspective.

Still, her quirky charm only made him like her more. “Hey, Hancock, don’t you have official duties today? If not, what are you doing here?”

Hancock beamed up at him, her excitement evident. “Since I’m free today, I thought I’d take you to a fun place. Come on!” she said, tugging eagerly at his arm.

Luffy, curious about what she had in mind, shrugged and nodded. “Sure, why not? Lead the way.”

Hancock’s smile widened as she guided him through Hanami Street, her grip on his arm tightening as they moved deeper into the bustling district. Luffy couldn’t help but notice that the area she was leading him to was one of the most prosperous parts of Hanami Street, home to some of its finest establishments.

A puzzled look crossed his face as they approached their destination. “Wait a minute,” he said, glancing around. “Isn’t this the ‘Pleasure quarter’ where the geishas perform? Why are we here?”

Chapter 369: Video Games?

Luffy stood at the entrance, gazing up at the massive neon sign that glowed brightly against the night sky. The name etched in bold, luminous letters read: The Rose and the Nightingale. He frowned deeply, his hand rubbing his chin as he tried to recall where he had heard that name before.

“The Rose and the Nightingale? Why does that sound so familiar?” he muttered to himself.

Before he could delve further into his thoughts, Hancock grabbed his arm and pulled him inside. The doors swung open, and the interior of the building revealed itself—but Luffy barely had time to take in the decor.

Suddenly, two rows of receptionists appeared on either side of the entrance. Each of them was dressed in a unique style. Some wore traditional Wano Country kimonos, while others were dressed like modern urban beauties. Among them were women in nurse uniforms and even Marine officer attire, a sight that made Luffy’s mouth twitch in disbelief.

“Welcome, distinguished guests!” the receptionists said in unison. “The Rose and the Nightingale warmly welcomes you. Whatever your needs may be, we are here to serve. This will be your most reliable haven.”

As the synchronized greeting echoed through the hall, two receptionists stepped forward to personally attend to them. Luffy tensed up, realizing the potential danger of the situation. With Hancock, the Queen of Jealousy, standing right next to him, any unwanted attention could spell disaster.

Just as he prepared to shoo the women away, he realized something peculiar. The two receptionists completely ignored him. Instead, they bypassed him entirely and linked arms with Hancock, their faces lighting up with affection.

“Ah, Lady Hancock, you’re finally here! We’ve been waiting for you,” one of them said eagerly.

“What’s the plan for today, ma’am?” the other asked. “Drinks? The VIP lounge? Or are you planning to pull another prank on someone? Whatever you want, we’re ready!”

Luffy stood frozen, his mouth slightly agape. It was clear these women were familiar with Hancock and treated her with the utmost respect. What was even more shocking was Hancock’s response. Instead of reprimanding them for their closeness, she greeted them warmly, a rare sight for someone who usually petrified anyone who got too close.

“I’m almost done conquering that thing,” Hancock said enthusiastically, clenching her fists in determination. “If we keep it up, we’ll definitely succeed today!”

“Yes, ma’am!” the two women chimed in. “We believe in you! Let’s work hard together!”

Hancock’s excitement was palpable as she linked arms with the two women and began walking away. Luffy, who had been standing to the side and completely ignored, finally snapped out of his stupor.

“Um… Hancock? Did you forget about me?” he called out.

Hearing his voice, Hancock froze mid-step. She turned back, a sheepish look on her face. “Oh no, I got too excited!” she exclaimed, quickly disentangling herself from the two women and rushing back to Luffy’s side. “Sorry, my love. I didn’t mean to leave you behind. Come on, I’ll take you to the VIP floor.”

Luffy could only sigh and shake his head. “Fine,” he muttered, forgiving her as always.

The two receptionists, still standing nearby, exchanged glances before one of them hesitantly spoke. “Lady Hancock,” she began, bowing slightly, “the boss has a rule. Men are only allowed on the first to third floors—even Lord Luffy.”

Luffy raised an eyebrow in surprise. These women not only knew who he was but also dared to enforce restrictions against him? It was bold, to say the least.

Hancock, however, dismissed their concerns with a wave of her hand. “Luffy is an exception. Speak to Olivia if there’s any issue—she’ll approve.”

With that, Hancock grabbed Luffy’s arm and led him toward the elevator. The two receptionists, visibly conflicted, hurriedly took out their Den Den Mushi to report the situation.

The VIP Floor

Inside the elevator, Hancock skillfully retrieved a card from her pocket. She swiped it against the panel, causing the button marked “VIP” on the eighth floor to light up with a soft beep.

Luffy, still baffled by the events unfolding around him, decided to ask the obvious. “Alright, Hancock, what’s the deal with this place? And you mentioned someone named Olivia earlier. What’s her connection to all this?”

Hancock’s eyes sparkled as she launched into an explanation, her enthusiasm reminiscent of a child talking about their favorite toy. “This is Olivia’s establishment,” she said. “It’s not just a bar—it’s so much more! You can stay overnight, order food, play billiards, and even enjoy table games. But that’s not the best part!”

Her voice rose with excitement. “From the fourth to the seventh floors, there are electronic games! They’re inventions from Olivia herself. And the eighth floor—where we’re going—is the VIP floor. Only select people are allowed there, and you can play any game you want!”

Luffy blinked, three giant question marks practically hovering over his head. “Electronic games? Video games?” he repeated, his voice filled with confusion. He had considered several possibilities for what this place might be—a bar, a dance hall, or some other entertainment venue. But an arcade? That hadn’t even crossed his mind.

“She made a game city?” he muttered incredulously. “What was Olivia thinking? And when did she even manage to build this? How did I not know?”

Chapter 370: The First Game City in the Pirate World

Luffy wasn’t particularly surprised that Olivia had managed to create video games. After all, the technological advancements in the world of One Piece were notoriously inconsistent.

People had invented televisions and computers long ago, and Vegapunk would soon develop holographic imaging. Gion had even received a handheld console as a gift once, something Olivia had been fascinated by. She had borrowed it, studied it obsessively, and now, it seemed, her ingenuity had given rise to an entire gaming city.

As Luffy mulled over this, he suddenly realized why the name The Rose and the Nightingale felt familiar. Back at Marine Headquarters, Olivia had used the exact same name for her clothing store.

“She’s so lazy,” Luffy muttered with a chuckle. “She didn’t even bother changing the name.”

Before he could dwell on it further, he turned to Hancock with a question. “What did those two receptionists mean earlier? Why can men only access the first three floors?”

Hancock sneered, her tone dripping with sarcasm. “Oh, that’s nothing. Originally, Olivia didn’t want to let men in at all. Her plan was to make this place a private paradise exclusively for women.”

She crossed her arms. “Her idea was to cater only to female customers, offering free meals and unlimited access to all the attractions for beautiful women. She called it a paradise, but let’s be honest—it was going to be her personal harem.”

Luffy snorted. “A paradise for women? More like her super harem.

Hancock nodded knowingly. “Exactly. But the plan changed. The location was perfect, and the games were unique. It quickly became popular, drawing in beautiful women from all over, including geishas and prostitutes after their shifts. Naturally, men took notice and started clamoring to get in.”

She continued, “Eventually, Olivia struck a deal with a powerful Mama-san. In exchange for opening the lower three floors to male customers, the Mama-san agreed to provide women from all over Wano to work here. They serve as bartenders, hostesses, or gaming companions—and sometimes offer other services for a price.”

Luffy raised an eyebrow, impressed despite himself. “So it’s like a club mixed with an arcade,” he said. “She even made it a full entertainment package. Olivia’s a genius—and a menace.”

He sighed. “Good thing this kind of business is legal here. If it wasn’t, I’d have to shut her down myself.”

Arriving at the 8th Floor

The elevator dinged softly as it reached the eighth floor. Luffy took a deep breath, preparing to see what Olivia’s game city looked like.

When the doors slid open, he was greeted by a peculiar sight. Olivia stood in the center of the room, looking like a guilty child caught red-handed. Beside her, Yamato lounged casually, grinning as if she had nothing to do with the situation.

Even more surprising was the presence of Alpha, a CP agent. Her disheveled appearance raised more questions than answers, and Luffy couldn’t help but wonder what she had been up to.

But what truly caught his attention was the figure standing off to the side, a woman he recognized immediately, stepped forward with grace. She placed her hands on her abdomen and bowed deeply, her voice calm and respectful.

“It’s an honor, Lord Luffy,” she said. “I didn’t expect to meet you again.”

Luffy’s eyes narrowed slightly as he recalled her. The woman had once served Kozuki Sukiyaki and was known for her boldness. Her actions had left a strong impression on him.

“Masako, isn’t it?” Luffy said. “If I remember correctly, you did well and were rewarded for your efforts. But weren’t you stationed in the Flower Capital? What brings you here?”

Masako’s surprise was evident as she straightened up, her face lighting up with gratitude. “I’m honored that you remember me, Lord Luffy,” she said, bowing again. “The reward you gave me allowed me to expand my izakaya. Later, I heard about your efforts to recruit workers for Onigashima. Remembering your kindness, I brought my business and other like-minded sisters to this place.”

She paused, her gaze steady. “By chance, I had the opportunity to cooperate with Lady Olivia. It’s thanks to her that I’m here today.”

Luffy nodded, his expression softening. Masako’s explanation seemed straightforward, but he understood the risks she had taken. Wano had been isolated for years, and leaving the safety of the Flower Capital to start anew on Onigashima was no small feat. It required vision, courage, and an unshakable belief in his mission.

“You’ve done well,” Luffy said. “Thank you for your support. I’ll make sure your efforts are rewarded.”

Masako bowed deeply again, her gratitude clear. “Your praise means everything to me, Lord Luffy.”
