[Chat Group For The Death] Chapter 61 - 65

Chapter 61: I Am Not That Bad, It’s Just...

Stussy looked at Marco with an aggrieved expression. "I know you don’t trust me, but I’m telling the truth! Since you refuse to share the treasure Whitebeard left behind with my son and me, we’ll just leave on our own."

With that, Stussy attempted to take Whitebeard Jr. and retreat, but Marco intercepted her with a cold smile.

"You think we’ll let you go just because we can’t immediately verify your words? Sorry, but we have someone here who can communicate with Dad."

Marco’s eyes shifted toward Lucas, silently asking for confirmation. Lucas chuckled and nodded.

"Whitebeard heard everything," Lucas said, his tone carrying a hint of amusement. "And he’s so angry right now that he wants to kill someone."

As soon as those words were spoken, Marco and the other captains' faces darkened with murderous intent. Stussy, realizing the dire situation, looked utterly defeated.

"Wait! Let me do it!"

A sudden, furious roar echoed across the battlefield.

In the distance, a small boat rapidly approached. Standing at the bow was a purple-haired man, his seastone mechanical arm gleaming under the sunlight.

Black Arm Zephyr!

"I was patrolling nearby and just happened to hear about your appearance," Zephyr growled, his presence exuding raw fury. "It seems fate has given me the perfect opportunity!"

His eyes, as sharp as a blade, locked onto Stussy and Whitebeard Jr. The sheer hatred burning within them was unmistakable.

"Black Arm Zephyr!" Stussy’s face turned pale as despair crept into her heart. What kind of rotten luck was this?

Why were all her enemies converging on her at once?

Stussy felt a sinking dread in her gut. Could it be… retribution? Had her countless misdeeds finally come back to haunt her?

No, she quickly dismissed the thought.

I’m not that bad. It’s just… murder, arson, robbery.

Everyone in this world does it! So why am I the only one suffering?!

While Stussy’s thoughts spiraled, no one cared.

Zephyr, seething with rage, wasted no time. With a powerful swing of his seastone arm, he lunged at Whitebeard Jr., his sheer momentum enough to shake the battlefield.

Meanwhile, Marco and the other captains surrounded Stussy, their expressions dark and merciless.

This old, deceitful hag had done nothing but cause chaos, tarnishing Whitebeard’s legacy and harming their family. Her sins were unforgivable!

"Get out of my way, you annoying old man!" Whitebeard Jr. bellowed, his rage swelling. His body expanded grotesquely, muscles bulging as if inflated by some unnatural force.

"Hmm? A Devil Fruit ability?" Lucas mused, intrigued by the transformation.

A soft voice answered beside him. "Yes. The user of the Paramecia Power-Power Fruit can amplify their own strength several times over."

[*Tl: This is author assumption since this is an old fanfic, Oda have not reveal anything about weevil power, think of this like Byrnndi World, More-More Fruit]

Lucas turned slightly and saw Ain standing next to him, her face solemn.

"When I was a rookie," Ain continued, her voice laced with sorrow, "Zephyr-sensei led us on patrol and we encountered Whitebeard Jr.. Zephyr fought him and had the upper hand."

She clenched her fists. "But Whitebeard Jr. turned his attacks on us instead. Sensei took the brunt of his assault to protect us. Most of our squad didn’t survive. Only two of us made it out… and Sensei lost his arm."

Lucas felt a pang of sympathy. He placed a reassuring hand on Ain’s head, offering silent comfort.

Meanwhile, Zephyr’s vengeance burned brighter than ever. His seastone arm gave him a critical advantage against Devil Fruit users. Seizing the opportunity, he locked onto Whitebeard Jr., gripping his opponent’s arm with an iron-clad hold.

[*Tl: You know it make sense if Weevil is a devil fruit user, Making Zephyr have the seastone arm not only for random devil fruit pirate, but purely so he can counter Weevil, its my thougt]

"Die!"

A cruel smirk spread across Zephyr’s face. The cannon mounted on his mechanical arm roared to life, firing directly at Whitebeard Jr.’s limb.

The impact was catastrophic.

Whitebeard Jr.’s arm was blasted apart, sending chunks of flesh and bone flying. He howled in agony, collapsing onto the ground.

Zephyr showed no mercy. Raising his seastone arm high, he began his relentless assault, pounding Whitebeard Jr. with bone-crushing force. The brutality of the scene was almost unbearable to watch.

Lucas instinctively reached out, covering Ain’s eyes. Even he felt a twinge of sympathy.

While Zephyr mercilessly dismantled Whitebeard Jr., Marco and the others delivered swift judgment upon Stussy.

She had no chance of survival.

Once the battle was over, Lucas turned to Zephyr and gave a firm nod.

"The protection of this territory is in your hands now."

Zephyr wiped the blood from his knuckles, his expression unreadable.

Lucas continued, "If anything urgent happens, contact me immediately. I’ll return as fast as I can."

With those parting words, Lucas led the elite Whitebeard Pirates back to the Floating Island.

Their next destination was clear—Wano Country, deep within the heart of the Beast Pirates' territory.

Chapter 62: If you can’t beat him, you have to call daddy!

Fire Fist Ace: "Wano Country! When I first entered the New World, I also came to this country."

Whitebeard: "I remember this! You also used the skills you learned in Wano Country to weave a huge straw hat for little Oz."

Pirate King Roger: "What did you experience in Wano Country?"

Fire Fist Ace: "I made a lot of friends in Wano Country, and even had a fight with Drought Jack from the Beasts Pirates."

Lucas: "Drought Jack? He is the weakest of the three senior officers of the Beasts Pirates. Did you defeat him?"

Fire Fist Ace: "Uh... I didn't lose, but I didn't win either! At that time, I realized that I was no match for the Beasts Pirates, so I left Wano Country. At that time, I was thinking that I would come here again when I was stronger in the future, but I didn't expect..."

Pirate King Roger: "This is such a sad story! It just so happens that Lucas is going to Wano Country this time, let him check on your friends for you!"

Fire Fist Ace: "Good idea! It's just a pity... I promised them that I would help them drive out the Beasts Pirates when I come here again. Now it seems that this promise cannot be fulfilled."

Whitebeard: "Is there such a thing? I haven't heard you mention it."

Lucas: "He didn't tell you? That's normal! When he was in Wano Country, he was a fearless pirate supernova who wanted to take your head and become the Pirate King."

Whitebeard: "Gurarara! You're right, Ace was really energetic back then!"

Lucas: "After being beaten up by Whitebeard, Ace realized a truth - if you can't beat him, you have to call him daddy! So Ace became much more stable, and when he was not strong enough, he chose to forget about it."

Golden Lion Shiki: "You have to call me daddy just because you can't beat me? Shihahaha! This is Whitebeard's rule, not anyone else's. But young people, it's better to be more stable."

Fire Fist Ace: “…”

I am offended!

Wano Country.

Because of its rugged terrain, few outsiders come to Wano Country. To enter Wano Country, one must pass through the entrance waterfall.

Only by knowing the secret of utilizing the large carp-pulled boats produced in Wano Country and avoiding the detection and obstruction of the Beasts Pirates can one successfully enter this country.

But this is for ordinary people, but it is not the case for Lucas.

Lucas, who possesses the ability of the Float-Float Fruit, controls the air superiority and enters Wano Country from the sky. Not only is it easy and casual, but it also does not attract the attention of the Beasts Pirates.

Kuri, Amigasa Village.

Lucas left the Whitebeard Pirates on the island in the sky and came down alone to fulfill the wish of Fire Fist Ace.

As soon as he entered here, the sword god Ryuma in the chat group went into a frenzy

Sword God Ryuma: "How could these villages become like this?"

Fire Fist Ace: "I know this! After Kaido and Kurozumi Orochi joined forces to rule Wano Country, they turned all areas except the capital of Wano Country, the Flower Capital, into a barren land."

Fire Fist Ace: "Because Kuri was once the base camp of Kozuki Oden, and it was also the place where the resistance against Kurozumi Orochi was most serious. So this place was hit hard and was particularly damaged."

Golden Lion Shiki: "Shihahaha! I saw the villagers, they are looking at you like a fat sheep! I bet they will rob you!"

Howard Stark: "So brutal? Looks like they deserved it!"

Fire Fist Ace: "That's not the case. They are very pitiful. And they are not particularly bad. They didn't hurt me in the beginning."

Lucas: "Yeah! They didn't hurt you, they just tied you up and took away everything you were wearing."

Whitebeard: "Is there such a thing?"

Second Hokage, Senju Tobirama: "Although they are pitiful, this is not a reason for them to harm others. Lucas, how do you plan to deal with them?"

Lucas: "It doesn't matter whether they are good or bad, I am not a good person anyway."

Pirate King Roger: "Agreed!"

"Ding! Pirate King Roger is muted for ten minutes."

Golden Lion Shiki: "Poor Roger, you should be more careful!"

Golden Lion Shiki was somewhat speechless. You took others' self-deprecation seriously? This guy is still as thick-skinned and stupid as he was back then.

Lucas took out a sparkling gem from his pocket and tossed it in his hand, then asked with a smile, "I'm here to find a girl named Tama. Can anyone tell me where she is?"

Chapter 63: Momonosuke, Still an Adult? Forget It!

The villagers of Amigasa Village did not respond to Lucas. Instead, they gripped their farming tools tightly as makeshift weapons, their eyes filled with hostility as they cautiously approached him.

Lucas sighed and rested his hand on the hilt of his sword. "Looks like I’ll have to make you realize the situation you are, in a hard way."

In the chat group, Ace grew anxious.

Fire Fist Ace: "Wait, don’t hurt them! @Sword God Ryuma, Lucas is about to kill people from Wano Country! Aren’t you going to say something?"

Sword God Ryuma: "What do you want me to say? Stop Lucas? Why would I do that? I'm not a fool like Kozuki Oden. Oden didn’t want anyone to get hurt, and because of that, the people of Kuri who trusted him ended up like this."

Fire Fist Ace: "What do you mean?"

Sword God Ryuma: "The people of Wano Country are too rigid in their ways. It doesn’t matter if some of them die. If a country is to be reborn, bloodshed and sacrifice are inevitable. If I hadn’t died so early, I would have personally led Wano into a new era, hehe…"

Ryuma, the legendary Sword God, had long perfected the way of the sword—an absolute force that could cut down anything. Hesitation was not in his nature.

Just as Lucas was about to draw his sword and open the villagers’ heads to cleanse their hearts, a deep voice suddenly called out.

"Stop!"

A masked man, carrying three swords at his waist, appeared before Lucas.

In the chat group, Senju Tobirama remarked dryly

Second Hokage, Senju Tobirama: "Another three-sword style swordsman? I’m really curious—why is this impractical sword style so popular?"

Howard Stark: "Three swords? That just seems wrong… and bad for your teeth!"

Golden Lion Shiki. "Teeth? Shihahaha! This Stark guy words have wisdom! I’ve always wondered—what’s so special about the three-sword style? What’s the point of holding a sword in your mouth?"

Whitebeard: "@Pirate King Roger, do you see the three swords on this guy?"

Lucas: "No use calling him. He’s still banned."

Whitebeard: "Ah, I almost forgot. Gurarara! Let me tell you something—I recognize two of those swords. They’re Ame-no-Habakiri and Enma, both once wielded by Kozuki Oden. As for the third one…"

Lucas: "That’s a cursed blade—Nidai Kitetsu!"

Golden Lion Shiki: "If I remember correctly, those three are all among the 21 Great Grade Blades, right? Who is this guy, carrying such legendary weapons?"

Lucas: "He was once Kozuki Oden’s retainer and a renowned swordsmith in Wano Country. Two of these swords were given to Oden for safekeeping, and the third was crafted by his ancestors and passed down through generations."

Outside World

Lucas narrowed his eyes at the masked man before him. "You’re Tenguyama Hitetsu, aren’t you? I’m here to fulfill a promise on behalf of a man named Portgas D. Ace."

At that moment, a sweet, youthful voice called out from the crowd.

"Ace?! Are you talking about Ace?"

A little girl with purple hair stepped forward, her expression full of hope and surprise. "I’m Ace’s friend, Tama! Where is he?"

Lucas sighed. "He’s dead."

The moment the words left his mouth, Tama’s face turned pale. Tears welled up in her eyes, and she shook her head frantically. "Y-You’re lying!" she cried before collapsing on the spot.

In the chat group, Ace panicked.

Fire Fist Ace: "What happened to her?!"

Lucas: "Long-term malnutrition has weakened her body. Experiencing such extreme emotional shifts is too much for her. Don’t worry—I’ll get her treated immediately."

Ignoring the varied reactions from the surrounding villagers, Lucas casually waved his hand. Above them, an island descended from the sky as members of the Whitebeard Pirates arrived.

"Izo?!"

"Tenguyama Hitetsu?!"

Izo, a native of Wano and a member of the Whitebeard Pirates, recognized an old acquaintance. With his presence, any doubts about Lucas’ intentions were quickly dispelled, and Tama was safely taken to the floating island.

Though the island wasn’t large, it was well-equipped. With the medical expertise of Whitebeard’s ship doctor—Marco the Phoenix—Tama’s condition was in good hands.

Hitetsu, now understanding the situation, turned to Izo. "Izo, what are you planning to do in Wano this time?"

Izo grinned. "Lord Lucas has taken it upon himself to resolve Wano’s problems and help it become a proper nation."

Hitetsu’s eyes lit up. "Really?! That’s wonderful! But according to Lady Toki’s prophecy… while the timing is right, the person still isn’t! Lord Momonosuke hasn’t returned yet!"

Lucas, who had been listening, let out a scoff.

"Momonosuke? You still call him ‘lord’? Forget it! Don’t tell me you don’t know what kind of person that kid is. Do you really think he can accomplish anything on his own?"

Chapter 64: Five Emperors, Knocked Out with One Blow

In the chat group, Sword God Ryuma asked curiously

Sword God Ryuma: "What do you mean by this? I can’t seem to follow your conversation."

Lucas: "Well, it all started on the day Kozuki Oden was defeated… After his fall, Kurozumi Orochi sent men to capture his family—his wife, Kozuki Toki, his son, Kozuki Momonosuke, and his daughter, Kozuki Hiyori."

Lucas: "Kozuki Toki possessed the Time-Time Fruit, a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that allowed her to leap forward through time. In fact, she was originally from eight hundred years ago. On the day of Oden’s execution, she didn’t escape herself, but instead used her ability to send Momonosuke and a group of retainers twenty years into the future."

Lucas: "Before she died, she left behind a prophecy, predicting that in twenty years, a group of samurai would rise, overthrow Orochi and Kaido, and liberate Wano."

Whitebeard: "A prophecy? That’s incredible, Gurarara!"

Golden Lion Shiki: "Whitebeard, you’re too naive. Before blindly believing a prophecy, shouldn’t we first ask whether it’s even accurate? Lucas can also predict the future, can’t he?"

Lucas: "You're asking the right guy. If I hadn’t intervened, in the future Straw Hat Luffy and Kozuki Momonosuke—a pair of second-generation upstarts—would have banded together to challenge Kaido. Around that time, Luffy made a big mess in Charlotte Linlin’s territory and was hyped up by the media as one of the Five Emperors."

Fire Fist Ace: "Really?! That’s great, Luffy! They must have freed Wano, right?"

Lucas:  "Not even close. Straw Hat Luffy ran into a drunk Kaido and attacked him. Kaido didn’t even flinch—he just sobered up from the hit. Then, while completely lucid, he picked up his club and knocked Luffy out with a single Thunder Bagua strike. Luffy was then thrown into the mines to work as a prisoner."

Whitebeard: "…"

Fire Fist Ace: "…"

Golden Lion Shiki: "…"

Sword God Ryuma: "So this was supposed to be Wano's great savior? As expected, everyone connected to Kozuki Oden is utterly useless."

Golden Lion Shiki: "Shihahaha! The title of Emperor sure is cheap these days! Just one hit and he was out cold!"

Lucas: "His title was nothing more than media hype. Kaido’s strike probably helped him realize how weak he actually was."

Fisher Tiger: "I remember Whitebeard once said he could handle Straw Hat Luffy in less than thirty seconds. Looks like he was being generous."

Howard Stark: "Am I the only one more impressed by Kaido? Luffy’s punch only woke him up! Just how absurd is that guy’s durability?"

Whitebeard: "Gurarara! Kaido is called the strongest creature in the world for a reason. You think that’s just a nickname?"

Lucas: "Don’t worry! Once I catch him, we can study him properly."

Sword God Ryuma: "Forget Luffy—tell me about Momonosuke. You clearly don’t think highly of him."

Lucas: "Well..."

Just as he was about to explain why Momonosuke must die, a sudden flare shot up into the sky in the distance.

Tenguyama Hitetsu's eyes widened. "That direction… Lord Oden’s former residence?! Could it be… Madam Toki’s prophecy is about to come true?"

Without hesitation, Lucas took off, flying toward the source of the flare.

In the chat group,

Lucas: "Looks like Kozuki Momonosuke and his group have arrived. I’m going over to check."

Sword God Ryuma: "They’ve appeared? Interesting. If nothing goes wrong, then Kozuki Momonosuke is supposed to be the symbol of hope for Wano, right?"

Lucas let out a mocking laugh.

Lucas: "That’s right! In the grand scheme of Wano’s fate, he’s the rightful heir to the shogunate. But let me put it this way… Momonosuke as a person? Hard to describe in just a few words. You’ll understand soon enough."

[*Tl: Why do Chinese author have so much grudge to Momonosuke, he is a kid with major trauma]

Oden’s Former Residence

The location where the flare was fired was none other than the ruins of Oden’s former home, which had been burned down twenty years ago.

Yet, because of Toki’s prophecy, Kurozumi Orochi had been paranoid for decades. He stationed men there permanently, ordering them to send an immediate signal at the first sign of suspicious activity.

As a result, in the original timeline, when Momonosuke and his group arrived, they were instantly discovered, forcing them to flee for their lives.

Now, in the ruins, five figures emerged from the shadows—four adults and one child.

They were:

Ø  Kozuki Momonosuke

Ø  Kin’emon

Ø  Kikunojo

Ø  Kanjuro

Ø  Raizo

They had all traveled twenty years into the future.

However, standing before them were several of Orochi’s samurai. One of them still held the flare gun that had just been fired.

A warrior narrowed his eyes. "These people… their appearance matches the exact descriptions of the Kozuki clan remnants who disappeared twenty years ago!"

His grip tightened on his sword as he stepped forward.

Chapter 65: Hashirama, I Went to the Battlefield at the Age of Four

The samurai under Kurozumi Orochi's command clashed with Kin'emon and the others. Meanwhile, Kozuki Momonosuke trembled in fear, unable to move.

Watching the scene unfold through Lucas’ perspective,

Sword God Ryuma immediately started cursing in the group chat.

Sword God Ryuma: "A pathetic coward like this is supposed to inherit the position of Shogun? The Kozuki clan is beyond useless!"

Whitebeard: "Hard to believe this is Oden’s son! When I was his age, I was already fighting pirates and bandits!"

Fire Fist Ace: "When I was younger than him, I was already hunting wild animals in the mountains alone! And by his age, I was the terror of my town!"

Senju Hashirama, ever the pacifist, tried to defend the boy.

First Hokage, Senju Hashirama: "Aren't you all being a little too harsh on him? He’s still just a child!"

Lucas: "If I recall correctly, Kozuki Momonosuke is eight years old this year. @Senju Hashirama, how old were you when you first went to the battlefield?"

First Hokage, Senju Hashirama: "Four years old!"

Whitebeard: "A four-year-old on the battlefield? You must be joking!"

Second Hokage, Senju Tobirama: "He’s not joking. During the Warring States Period of our world, it was completely normal for kids as young as four or five to fight in war."

Howard Stark: “Your world sounds insane!"

First Hokage, Senju Hashirama: "Don’t worry! Before I died, the Warring States Period had already ended. Ninja villages were established, and instead of war, shinobi took on missions based on their abilities. Children no longer had to fight on battlefields."

Sword God Ryuma: "Regardless, the fact remains—this kid is a waste of space. If he becomes Wano’s Shogun, the country should forget about founding a nation and start preparing for its destruction!"

Pirate King Roger: "Isn't that a little too absolute? I admit he’s useless now, but people can change!"

As Oden’s former crewmate, Roger still had hope for his friend's son. He wanted to believe that Momonosuke could rise to the occasion.

But Ryuma didn’t buy it.

Sword God Ryuma: "And what if he doesn’t change? The Shogun of Wano isn’t a position that can be switched out at will—unless, of course, the current Shogun dies…"

His words carried a clear, murderous implication.

[*Tl: Why does every cn author wanted the little man to die?]

Pirate King Roger: "No way, right? Maybe we should just wait and see how he develops?"

Sword God Ryuma: "Your plan is to keep Wano in its current state, sit back, and wait for this brat to grow up, then hope he miraculously defeats Orochi and Kaido? Terrible plan!"

Whitebeard: "Roger, your idea isn’t practical. The people of Wano can’t afford to wait any longer. They don’t have the luxury of giving Momonosuke time to figure himself out."

Lucas: "Relax. You still don’t know Kozuki Momonosuke well enough. Just watch a little longer."

Suddenly, a cloud of dust rose in the distance as a group of warriors charged toward them.

Leading them was a massive man wearing a lavender embroidered robe. His pink hair stood out, and his large belly jiggled with each step.

This was Shutenmaru or known before as Ashura Doji, one of the most feared criminal in Wano.

In his youth, he had fought evenly with Kozuki Oden. After being defeated, he had chosen to follow him. His combat strength was on par with the top officers of the Four Emperors’ crews.

"Shutenmaru?!"

Kin'emon and the others, having just defeated Orochi’s samurai, froze in shock.

To them, Shutenmaru was an unstoppable force. If he joined them, it would be a game changer!

But while Kin'emon and his group looked at him with surprise and hope, Shutenmaru himself looked… disappointed.

"It’s you?" he muttered, clearly unimpressed.

Kin’emon was taken aback. "What’s wrong?"

Shutenmaru sighed heavily. "So you are the ones Madam Toki predicted would defeat Kurozumi Orochi and Kaido?"

Kin'emon clenched his fists. "So what?! Have you lost your will to fight, Shutenmaru?!"

Shutenmaru sneered. "Will to fight? What’s that worth?"

He then ruthlessly exposed the harsh reality.

"Twenty years ago, you were running for your lives—chased by Orochi and Kaido like rats."

"Now, after traveling through time, you actually think you can defeat them? Naïve!"

His voice grew colder.

"You don’t understand, do you? To you, twenty years was just a blink of an eye—but for Orochi and Kaido, it was two decades of constant growth."

"They didn’t sit around waiting for you. They became even stronger."

"And your reputation in Wano has been dwindling over the years. You’re weaker than you were back then, while they’ve only grown more powerful."

Shutenmaru's gaze swept over Kin'emon and the others, his disappointment evident.

"Tell me… how do you plan to defeat an enemy who’s had twenty more years to prepare for you?"
