[Marvel : Spoiling Spider-man] Chapter 131 - 135

Chapter 131: Youth on Campus

"What's wrong with him? Wanted Spider-Man? He's out there saving people!"

"The one who actually hurt people was that giant lizard! Can't he see that?!"

"Spider-Man even saved that bastard who should have gone straight to hell. Damn it, he had no idea what that Ratha was planning to do!"

"Isn’t this George Stacy? Gwen’s father? How did Gwen end up with such a father? Does he not understand right from wrong?!"

Because of George’s speech on the screen, countless citizens were filled with outrage. The scene had been witnessed by so many—Spider-Man had risked his life to save those trapped in the car, yet George refused to acknowledge that and continued treating him as a criminal.

Standing in his living room, George let out a deep sigh and ran a hand over his face, his frustration evident. As he stared at the screen, he could already picture the angry crowd gathering outside.

Since Gwen had inadvertently revealed their home’s location to Peter on the screen, it didn’t take long for people to track it down. Though they couldn’t break in, that didn’t stop them from swarming the entrance and loudly voicing their anger.

Inside Gwen’s room, both she and Peter could hear the shouting below. Curious, they leaned out the window—only to find a restless mob forming at the front door.

"Oh no! They must be here because of Dad!" Gwen quickly put the pieces together. Her father’s words had painted him in a terrible light, and the citizens were here to let him know exactly how they felt about it.

She turned to Peter, her eyes pleading for help.

Peter sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. There was no easy way out of this. The reputation of the NYPD was already on the line, and if things weren’t handled properly, it could suffer an even greater blow.

He reassured Gwen, telling her to stay in the room and continue adjusting to her newfound abilities. Meanwhile, he prepared to go downstairs and face the crowd.

"Hey! Peter! Wait, you can’t go out looking like that!" George called after him and tossed a fresh shirt from his closet. Only then did Peter realize just how filthy his clothes were.

After quickly changing, he and George made their way downstairs.

Upstairs, Gwen, Helen, and the others weren’t content to just sit back and wait. They rushed to the balcony, peering down at the scene unfolding below.

Peter had to put in a considerable effort to calm the people down, his mouth going dry from all the talking. It took patience, reassurance, and a few well-chosen words to finally disperse the crowd.

Once the last of them had left, Peter let out an exhausted groan and slumped his shoulders.

"Oh man… This is such a headache. We need a long-term solution for this."

George, rubbing his temples, couldn't help but agree. "Yeah… And the worst part? It’s always because of something I said in the screen. Every damn time." He sighed heavily. "Honestly, if you hadn't stepped in, I might've had to resign by tomorrow."

[On campus, Gwen and Peter sat together on the bleachers, watching the football team practice. The cool autumn breeze rustled through the trees, carrying with it the faint sounds of students chattering and the occasional cheer from the field.]

[Peter reached into his backpack and pulled out a small glass specimen container. Inside, a tiny spider twitched.]

[Gwen’s eyes widened as she took the bottle from him. "It’s… beautiful."]

[Peter smirked. "Yeah, well, it also has one hell of a bite."]

[He still remembered the excruciating discomfort after being bitten—the fever, the dizziness, the overwhelming sensory overload that followed. The first few days had been torture.]

["Who else knows about this?" Gwen asked curiously, gently tilting the glass to get a better look at the tiny creature.]

["Only you," Peter replied with a soft smile.]

[Her heart skipped a beat. "Really? Just me?"]

[Peter nodded. The weight of that realization settled over her—it meant he trusted her. This wasn’t just some random detail; it was a secret, their secret.]

[A warm, tingling sensation spread through her chest.]

["Hey," Peter hesitated for a moment before asking, "you don’t… actually believe what the police say about me, do you?"]

[Gwen scoffed and rolled her eyes. "Of course not! But does having these powers scare you?"]

[Peter’s lips curled into a small, forced smile. "No, not at all."]

[But Gwen saw through him instantly. She could tell he was scared, that deep down, he worried about being hunted down like some kind of lab experiment. Still, she decided not to push him on it. Instead, she changed the subject.]

["What exactly did that thing on the bridge look like?"]

["It was huge—definitely not human," Peter said, the memory still vivid in his mind.]

["Then you need to keep a low profile," Gwen reminded him, her tone serious.]

[Peter scoffed. "That’s not gonna happen."]

["You have to," Gwen insisted, concern flashing across her face.]

[Peter shook his head, unwavering.]

["Why?" she asked, frustrated.]

["Because last night, those people on the bridge—if that thing had attacked them just a second longer, they’d be dead. I have to stop it," Peter said, his voice filled with determination.]

[He had spent the whole night thinking about it, replaying Uncle Ben’s words over and over in his mind.]

["With great power comes great responsibility."]

[Uncle Ben and My dad had always believed that if you had the ability to help others, then you had a moral obligation to do so. Peter couldn’t ignore that—not now, not ever.]

[Gwen shook her head. "This isn’t your responsibility, Peter."]

["Maybe," Peter murmured, his eyes softening as he gazed at her. Then, out of nowhere, he grinned. "You know, I really like kissing you. You’re actually pretty good at it."]

[Gwen’s cheeks flushed pink, and she immediately looked away. "Shut up…"]

[Peter chuckled. "I’m serious!"]

[Gwen hesitated before meeting his gaze again. "Well… For the record, I really liked kissing you too."]

["Really?" Peter smirked, leaning in closer.]

[Just as their lips were about to meet, a football suddenly came flying toward them. Without even turning his head, Peter instinctively reached out and caught it one-handed.]

[The players on the field froze in shock.]

[Then, without thinking, Peter threw it back—with way more force than necessary. The ball shot through the air and slammed into the goalpost, denting it on impact.]

[Silence fell over the field.]

[Peter blinked. Gwen slowly turned around, her eyes wide.]

["Uh… Oops?" Peter muttered.]

["Who the hell threw that?!" one of the football players shouted, running toward the goalpost in disbelief.]

[Peter and Gwen exchanged awkward glances before bursting into laughter.]

Later that evening, the family sat together watching TV. The news reported that Oscorp Industries had announced their decision to destroy all existing samples of the Lizard formula.

Meanwhile, the Mayor of New York City held a press conference, announcing an official investigation into Oscorp and promising justice for the deaths of Richard and Mary Parker.

What truly caught Peter’s attention, however, was the Mayor’s final statement:

"Spider-Man has been unfairly treated. Moving forward, we will ensure that no misunderstandings arise. He is not the enemy—he is a hero."

Peter's breath hitched. For the first time in a long while, hope flickered in his heart. Maybe—just maybe—he was finally one step closer to the truth.

Chapter 132: High-end Villa

[In Oscorp Industries, Peter arrived at Dr. Connors' office, only to find it completely empty. Frowning, he called out, "Is anyone here?"]

[The room was a mess—papers scattered across the desk, shelves slightly disorganized, as if someone had left in a hurry. As Peter stepped closer, something caught his eye. A medicine syringe lay on the table, uncapped and empty. He picked it up, examining it curiously. It must have been left behind when Connors used it last night.]

[Just as Peter was scrutinizing the syringe, a voice suddenly rang out behind him, making him jump. "It’s not polite to peek, Peter."]

[Peter spun around, a sheepish grin spreading across his face as he saw Connors standing in the doorway. The doctor’s gaze was sharp, but there was a knowing smirk on his lips. Connors walked further into the office, adjusting his coat as he spoke. "I’m giving everyone a week off," he explained casually.]

[Peter blinked in realization—no wonder the place was empty. The entire lab had been temporarily shut down.]

["Shouldn’t you be in school?" Connors asked, raising an eyebrow. His tone was casual, but there was an underlying tension in his voice. He seemed uneasy about Peter suddenly showing up at his office.]

["No, I don’t have any classes right now," Peter replied quickly. "I actually came to ask you something… How does a predator track a reptile?"]

[Connors, who had turned his back to Peter as he continued packing some papers, responded with a chuckle. "Oh, they don’t need to. Most reptiles are at the top of their food chain. They’re the undisputed kings of their environment."]

["But they must have weaknesses, right?"]

[Connors suddenly turned around, his gaze locking onto Peter with unsettling intensity. "Why the sudden interest in cold-blooded creatures?"]

[Peter hesitated for a fraction of a second. He couldn't exactly tell Connors that he was looking for ways to hunt the monstrous Lizard from last night. So, he forced a casual shrug and lied, "It’s for a school project. I need to do a biological profile."]

["I see… Well, if you’re asking whether these creatures react to sudden temperature changes, the answer is yes," Connors mused. Then, his lips curled into a knowing smirk. "You’d have to catch one first, though. You know, there’s been talk of a new species appearing in New York. Have you heard about it?"]

[Peter tensed. His eyes narrowed slightly. "A new species?"]

[Connors nodded as he absently twirled the medicine syringe in his fingers. "It’s said to be quite beautiful... and huge," he remarked, his voice carrying a strange undertone.]

[Peter stiffened. "How do you know about that? Have you seen it?"]

[Connors let out a low chuckle. "No, no! It’s not exactly a secret. But you should be careful. If this thing feels threatened... it can be extremely violent," he said, his voice suddenly laced with something Peter couldn’t quite place. That’s when Peter noticed it—strange, discolored markings on Connors' neck. Faint ridges, barely visible beneath his collar, but unmistakable to Peter’s trained eyes. The aftereffects of the Lizard formula…]

["Doctor, are you… okay?" Peter asked cautiously, his concern creeping into his tone.]

["Never been better, Peter! Never!" Connors declared with a wide grin. "Now, if you don’t mind, I have a new project to focus on. I’d rather not be disturbed."]

[He gestured toward the door, subtly yet firmly dismissing Peter. Knowing he wasn’t going to get anything more out of him, Peter nodded and turned to leave. As he stepped out, Connors' voice echoed behind him, "Don’t worry, Mr. Parker! I’ll be back soon… and wonderful things are coming! Wonderful things!"]

[Peter glanced over his shoulder, watching as Connors disappeared down the corridor. A bad feeling settled in his gut. Something was definitely wrong with the doctor.]

[Just then, a faint, unnatural movement caught Peter’s eye. His senses tingled, and he cautiously stepped forward to investigate. His gaze landed on a shattered glass container—with bloodstains smeared along its edges.]

[His heart pounded as he traced the source of the disturbance. His eyes widened in horror when he saw it—a mutated rat, its once-small frame grotesquely enlarged. It was hunched over, gnawing on a smaller white mouse, its sharp teeth dripping with blood.]

["Freddy?!!" Peter gasped, recognizing the rat as one of Connors’ lab specimens. His mind reeled. Connors had been experimenting again. The mutation… it was spreading.]

[He barely had time to react before the creature scurried away into the vents. Peter clenched his fists. If Connors was still using the formula, things were about to get much worse.]

"Oh! Shit!"

A collective gasp filled the air as the disturbing scene played out on the screen. A mother in the crowd quickly covered her child’s eyes, shielding them from the gruesome sight.

Many citizens felt their stomachs churn. The sheer horror of it all was overwhelming—children would surely have nightmares about this tonight.

Meanwhile, in real life, Dr. Connors watched the screen in silence. His expression was unreadable, but after a long pause, he reached for the remaining Lizard formula vials… and destroyed them.

"I think I need to see Dr. Connors," Peter muttered, sitting across from George and Uncle Ben. Opposite them sat the Mayor of New York, his expression thoughtful.

The mayor leaned forward, clearing his throat. "Actually, Peter, that brings me to something important."

Peter looked at him curiously.

"The NYPD is willing to offer you an official position," the mayor continued. "No more being a vigilante. You’d be a real officer—with law enforcement privileges. You’d have the authority to act whenever necessary."

Peter blinked in surprise. That was unexpected.

"And," the mayor added, "in light of recent events, and for the safety of your family, the city is also providing you with a fully furnished villa."

Peter’s eyes widened. "A… villa?"

Uncle Ben and Aunt May exchanged stunned glances.

The mayor nodded. "The house once belonged to a fallen tycoon. After his bankruptcy, it was supposed to be auctioned off as collateral, but I managed to secure it at a low price."

Peter hesitated. He wasn’t comfortable accepting handouts.

Sensing this, George spoke up. "If you feel like you haven’t earned it, you can pay it back when you’re older. But for now, take it. The people of New York want to do something for you."

After a moment’s thought, Peter finally nodded. He wasn’t doing this for himself—he was doing it to keep Uncle Ben and Aunt May safe.

At the same time, a sleek luxury car pulled up in front of a grand estate. Inside, a figure watched the screen with a smirk.

Harry Osborn.

His fingers drummed against the armrest as he murmured to himself, "Peter… I’m back."

[The scene shifts to George Stacy, standing in his office, phone pressed to his ear. "Mr. Mayor, if there was a dinosaur running around, trust me, you'd be the first to know. So tell your son he doesn't have to worry, okay? Yes! You and I see eye to eye, sir."]

[After hanging up, George turned to Peter with an exasperated sigh. "Mr. Parker… Why exactly aren’t you in school?"]

["No classes today," Peter explained simply.]

["Right… I don’t have much time, so make it quick," George said, stepping out of his office with Peter following closely behind.]

["Alright, listen—it's probably not a dinosaur running around Manhattan, but it’s something worse. And I know exactly who it is."]

[George raised an eyebrow. "You know who it is?"]

["Dr. Kurt Connors. He’s a biologist."]

["Wait—Osborn’s Dr. Connors? My daughter’s mentor? That Dr. Connors?" George asked incredulously.]

["Yes!" Peter confirmed.]

[George sighed. "Look, Connors recently wrote Gwen’s college recommendation letter. It was so good it made me cry! And now you’re telling me he’s running around cosplaying as a dinosaur?"]

[“It’s not cosplay! It’s not a dinosaur! He transformed himself into a giant lizard!” Peter knew that it would be impossible for George to believe this. When he thought of his beloved doctor turning into a monster, Peter couldn’t help but cover his face. ]

[After listening to this, George closed his eyes, took a deep breath and asked, "Let me ask you a question first, do I look like the mayor of Tokyo?" George felt that Peter was joking with him. If he didn't know, he would have thought this was Tokyo and Connors was a Godzilla. ]

Chapter 133 Connors’ Experiment

[“I’ll tell you the absolute truth again! This man has spent his entire life researching cross-species gene transplantation! He lost an arm, and he wants to grow it back, but the equation is not balanced!”]

[“This caused him to become a lizard man, and he is using lizard DNA! He is very dangerous, and he is planning something terrible now, I know it! I sense it!”]

[Peter tried to convince George of his words, but George thought that Peter might have become delirious from overstudying, so he perfunctorily said, "Alright, here’s the plan—why don’t you go take a trip to Tokyo with the other citizens? Meanwhile, I’ll stay here and protect our beautiful city."]

[Then he ordered a police officer to send Peter back to school. Peter folded his hands and begged, "Captain Stacy! I'm not here to cause trouble! Take him to the police station, you have to call him over, you have to call him over! He is a threat to everyone!!!"]

[Peter was carried further and further away by Officer Butler, his voice getting louder and louder, "Please!!! Trust me!!!" Butler pushed him out of the police station impatiently. ]

[George looked at Peter thoughtfully. After Peter was pushed out, he walked aside, pinched his brow and said, "Jimmy! Give me all the information about Dr. Kurt Connors! Okay? Hurry up!"]

"Poor Peter, his words are really hard to believe, especially since Connors also wrote a letter of recommendation for Gwen!" Tony put down the tools in his hands and snapped his fingers. The little robot came over with two glasses of wine, and Tony handed one of the glasses to Banner.

"Indeed, if someone had told me before that gamma rays would cause me to change into a green monster, I wouldn't have believed it!" Banner said after taking a sip.

"Yeah! Who said it wasn't true? George has lived for so long and has seen so many ups and downs, but he has never seen a human mutate into a lizard. It's normal for him not to believe it, but at least he listened to Peter Parker's words and went to check Connors' information."

. . . . . .

Connors sat in the office a little depressed. Peter walked in from the door. He had no obstruction along the way and everyone recognized him.

"Doc...are you okay?" After coming out of the mayor's office, Peter went straight to Oscorp Industries. Looking at Connors' unshaven appearance, he asked worriedly.

He handed the matter of the house over to Uncle Ben. Anyway, with the police chief George Stacy around, Peter believed that George would help.

"Peter, you're here, sit down." Connors pulled out a chair for Peter to sit down.

"I... I don't know what to say. My hard work has failed. They have temporarily stopped my research until they are sure that there will be no risks after restarting the research!"

Although he announced that he would continue his research, the board of directors actually directly banned his work because government investigators were preparing to do an investigation and they didn't want any problems to arise at this critical juncture!

"I have nothing now, Peter!" Connors sighed. He was under tremendous pressure from public opinion just like Otto did back then, even more serious than Otto.

"I believe in you, Doctor! Cheer up, wasn't the simulation successful? You just need to find the balance! Make sure the lizard genes don't affect human genes! I believe you can succeed!" Peter encouraged him.

"Yeah! I know, I just... I just couldn't accept the blow for a moment, and I almost caused a disaster! Peter!" Connors lost some confidence. Years of hard work turned into this result.

"It was Mr Ratha who almost caused such a disaster! Not you. You just wanted to stop him! It's not your fault. If he hadn't been so eager to rush thing, things wouldn't have come to this!"

Peter didn't want Connors to continue to be decadent like this, and in addition to criticizing him for being too reckless, many people also believed that Connors just wanted to stop Ratha and had good intentions.

What's more, he refused Ratha's unreasonable request for human experiments under coercion and inducement. He did that only because he was affected by the lizard potion.

After hearing Peter's comfort and encouragement, Connors finally cheered up a little and decided to re-study the Decay Rate Algorithm before restarting the experiment to calculate the gene ratio to achieve balance. This might take a long time, but he didn't care as he had been waiting for so many years.

[Peter left the police station and walked down the street. Suddenly, his spider sense allowed him to see a lizard lying on the railing. Peter looked at them thoughtfully as they entered the sewer as if attracted by something.]

[There is also a bundle of newspapers on the ground, with a sharp claw on it and the title reads: "Reward for those who have evidence!" It is obvious that the police department is collecting relevant clues about Connors.]

[Deep within the sewers, Connors’ voice echoed against the damp walls. "Subject: Dr. Kurt Connors. Current temperature: 89 degrees Fahrenheit. Condition: Stable for the last seven hours. Blood tests show lymphocyte and monocyte readings remain consistent with past data."]

[He was recording his transformation process, meticulously documenting his findings.]

[Peter, meanwhile, had quietly descended into the underground tunnels. Hanging upside down from a web, he watched from the shadows, taking in every word.]

["Coagulation rate has greatly increased," Connors continued, speaking to his camera. "Muscle reaction, strength, and flexibility have shown significant enhancement…"]

[Peter fired spider web from a sewer opening that led to all the surrounding sewer openings, and then pulled the silk together to form a huge spider web.]

[Connors removed his glasses, holding them up to the dim light. "Vision has also improved significantly," he noted. "The subject no longer requires corrective lenses. This is no longer about curing disease… This is about achieving perfection."]

[[Peter finished setting up his trap just as Connors reached for another syringe. "To counteract regression, dosage has been increased to 200 milligrams," the doctor muttered.]

[Without hesitation, he plunged the needle into his arm. As the serum entered his system, Connors' pupils dilated. His breathing grew erratic. His fingers twitched before violently knocking over the camera. His transformation had begun.]

[Above, Peter lay sprawled across his web, idly playing a game on his phone, waiting for movement. Suddenly, a tremor ran through one of the silk threads. His fingers instinctively tensed.]

[A moment later, the first tremor was followed by another. Then another. More and more of his web strands trembled, indicating movement from multiple directions.]

[Peter’s eyes narrowed. For a second, he saw only darkness. Then… a massive shadow appeared at the tunnel’s exit. He held his breath.]

[The next second, a small lizard crawled out. Before Peter could breathe a sigh of relief, he found that more lizards were crawling towards him. The spider web he had set up was full of lizards.]

[Just when Peter was a little overwhelmed, he found that these lizards gathered in the center and moved in one direction, so he followed these lizards and slowly crawled over.]

Chapter 134: Battle in the Sewer

"Connors, he's still doing experiments, using himself as a test subject, but unfortunately he had problems from the beginning!"

Banner looked at Connors and felt a little sorry for him. It was obvious that the lizard potion had problems. It could only last for a period of time. When the effect of the potion wore off, his right arm would be gone again.

He went further and further down the wrong path, and there was no way back.

. . . . . .

While everyone was still thinking about Connors, Nick Fury received an analysis report on Peter Parker in their universe. Although they had searched for him in while the screen broadcasted the 1st gen Spider-man, they did not investigate deep enough especially about his parents and family background until the 2nd gen Spider-Man was also named Peter Parker, which attracted their attention.

The youngest of Peter Parker is less than ten years old, and the oldest is already in his thirties, which roughly meets some of the relevant conditions of Peter Parker in The Screen.

The little boy is the most suitable person for the story because both his parents are dead and his uncle is named Ben and his aunt is named May. However, his uncle died two years ago, which does not match the experience of Peter Parker in The Screen.

Peter Parker gained super powers, and then his uncle died and taught Peter Parker to grow into Spider-Man. Nick Fury thought that once was a coincidence, but twice was not a coincidence.

They also found Jameson. There was also a Daily Bugle in their world, and the boss looked very similar, but that was just a similarity. There was no Brant or Robbie in his Daily Bugle.

After a comparison, they found that this was not the same person. It was just that the appearance of the Daily Bugle made Nick Fury think that there must be a Peter Parker in their universe, but they just haven't discovered it yet.

[Peter slowly crawled on the spider web. When he left the narrow pipe and came to another confluence leading to all directions, a tail hung down from the ceiling behind him. Peter realized that there was someone behind him.]

[When he turned his head and looked up, Connors pounced on him from above his head. The camera stuck in the sewer by the spider web began to take pictures, and the flash lighted up, illuminating Connors's hideous face.]

[Connors used his weight to press Peter. Although Peter tried his best to resist, he was still strangled by him. At the same time, due to the weight of the two people, some of the walls that were stuck with spider web began to break and fall off.]

[“You stopped me once! You can’t stop me again! I’m getting stronger every day!!!” Connors roared at Peter under him. ]

[Peter used one hand to hold back his right claw, but he didn't expect that Connors' claw could grow. The longer claw left three bloody marks on Peter's chest! ]

[Feeling the pain, Peter began to exert his strength, pushing away Connors' claws that were reaching for his head, and then took the opportunity to punch him. Because he used too much force, the wall attached to the spider web collapsed, and the two fell into the water together.]

[Peter was unable to fight Connors in the water, so he kicked him away and quickly started to run away. He wanted to shoot spider web but found that the launcher did not work underwater! ]

[He had no choice but to swim quickly, slap the railing that blocked his way away, and get through. Connors was unable to enter the narrow pipe due to his huge body after mutation, so he could only stand there helplessly and furiously.]

[Peter got out of this narrow passage and was immediately carried away by the fast current. Peter tried to hold on to the wall, but the water was too slippery and he couldn't hold on at all, so he was washed out of the sewer.]

[Climbing up the steps to the side, Peter couldn't help but sigh: "Oh! This is bad!"]

[On the other side, Connors crawled back to the place where he had just fought with Peter. He pulled the spider web stuck on his body, but accidentally touched the camera, and the flash attracted his attention. ]

[It pulled the camera off the wall and found that it was written with 'Peter Parker, personal property! '. Connors looked at the signature, "Peter Parker?" It was so angry that it crushed the camera into pieces! ]

"Oh! It's really bad!" Tony frowned and watched Peter trying to shoot spider web, but the spider web shooter didn't work.

"Jarvis! Help me add a note to Spider-Man's file: the spider web shooter must be able to be launched in water! And an underwater breathing apparatus and a heater!" Tony said casually.

"Okay! Sir!"

"What? What do you mean?" Banner looked at Tony strangely, not knowing what he was going to do.

"Here's what I thought. You see, Spider-Man exists in many universes. What if there is one in our universe? I will prepare a set of armor and a set of armor that can restrain him in advance. This way, it will be beneficial whether he is a friend or an enemy!"

Banner looked at Tony with a puzzled expression and couldn't help asking, "Is there one for me too?"

Tony laughed awkwardly when he heard that and said nothing.

"Okay... okay!" Banner didn't know what to say. After all, he knew the Hulk's destructive power better than anyone else. It would be great if someone could deal with the Hulk.

1st Gen Spiderman had a serious expression on his face. He was thinking back to the battle between 2nd Gen Spider-man and Connors. It was obvious that Connors was stronger than 2nd Gen Spider-man, so much so that he couldn't even break free from its restraints.

It seems that The Screen was right. 2nd Gen Spider-man's physical fitness was weaker, and it was also ambushed, so it was normal for it to be at a disadvantage. However, he had never noticed that it was impossible to shoot spider web underwater. He felt that he needed to try whether he could shoot it underwater.

[Gwen was concentrating on the computer in the room. Peter dragged his wounded body to her window. Seeing that she didn't notice him, he knocked his head against the glass.]

[Gwen turned around after hearing the noise and found Peter outside her window. She didn’t realize Peter was injured at first, so she nodded and said, “Come in!”]

[“Maybe you should consider coming in openly! Also, my dad thinks it’s time for you to see a psychiatrist!” Gwen said to Peter with a smile. ]

[“Oh! Really?” Peter stumbled into the room while laughing. Gwen realized that something was wrong with Peter. “Peter?!”]

[She quickly stood up and came to Peter, asking worriedly, "What happened?" She helped Peter lie down on the chair.]

[Peter laughed weakly: "You should have seen the other guy, the guy who suddenly changed from a human into a giant lizard!"]

[While Peter was talking to Gwen, George came over and asked, "Hey, Gwen, sweetheart! You want a cup of cocoa?!"]

[Hearing her father's voice, Gwen immediately nervously shushed Peter, who immediately stood up and hid behind a chair. Gwen opened the door and said to George, "No! Dad! I don't want to drink cocoa! Besides, I'm already 17 years old!"]

[“Okay! But I remember someone said last week that her dream is to live in a chocolate house!” George teased Gwen. ]

[“That’s unrealistic! Bang!” Gwen closed the door, then opened it again and said to George: “And you’ll get fat!” George thought Gwen was a little weird. ]

Chapter 135 Cleaning the Wound

[After closing the door, Gwen turned around and looked at Peter. Peter was hiding behind a chair and poked his head out and said with a smile: "Chocolate house!" Gwen rolled her eyes when she heard that...]

[Then she opened the door again, "Sorry,Dad!"]

[“It’s okay!” George waved his hand. ]

[“I can’t drink cocoa because I’m busy with something right now… I’m busy… I have menstrual cramps, I feel terrible right now, and I’m a little… moody, like I’m crying!”]

[Gwen was quick-witted and pretended to have menstrual cramps. George really didn't suspect anything and said, "Okay! I get it."]

[“It hurts a lot… You don’t want to know, believe me, it’s terrible!” she said, waving her hands.]

[“Understood!” George nodded repeatedly. ]

[“Thank you, Dad!” Gwen smiled and immediately closed the door. ]

"Gwen, when did you learn to lie to your dad? Aren't you afraid of getting fat?" George looked at Gwen who was drinking cocoa. Gwen smiled awkwardly and silently put down the cup in her hand.

Helen looked at the father and daughter with a smile. Gwen brother pulled her clothes and asked curiously, "Why does drinking cocoa make you fat?" He loved drinking cocoa the most.

"When will Brother Peter come over?" the youngest son asked Gwen, because Peter had gone to help Uncle Ben and the others move and had not come yet.

Gwen replied, "He told me it would be later."

[Peter took off his shirt, revealing his strong and muscular body. Gwen was holding a towel in her hand and was wiping Peter's wound. Peter felt a little pain and his body trembled.]

[He looked at Gwen who was treating his wound carefully, and couldn't help but straighten up and wanted to kiss Gwen, "Don't get excited, bug boy!". ]

[Peter couldn't help but laugh, "What did you call me?" The two of them leaned their foreheads against each other, Peter reached out and stroked Gwen's cheek, comforting her: "I'll be fine!"]

[“No! Something’s wrong!”]

[“It’s okay! It’s okay!” Peter kissed her face and comforted her. ]

[“I know what’s going on!” Peter didn’t quite understand what she meant, “What?”]

["Every day for as long as I can remember, my dad would go out every morning, he'd wear the badge on his chest, the gun strapped to his waist, and every day, ever since I can remember, I'd worry that he'd never come back."]

[Looking at Gwen's worried eyes, Peter pursed his lips and stroked Gwen's face with both hands, "I understand! Okay?" Peter knew what Gwen was thinking, but he had to stop Connors. ]

[“But I have to stop him! I have to do this! Because I created it!” Peter said while hugging Gwen. ]

[Gwen doesn't understand why Peter said this, "What do you mean?"]

[“I gave him the equation. I caused this situation. My father used to be in the same research group, you know, in secret. Now I understand why he kept it secret! The point is, this is my responsibility! I must make up for this mistake!”]

["Peter..." Gwen rubbed her face against Peter's palm and did not dissuade him any further. ]

[“Hey! Let’s go out and get some fresh air! Just for a while, okay?” Peter said with a smile. ]

[“No! No way!”]

[“Come on! It’s okay!”]

[“I really can’t. If my parents see me leaving, I’ll be dead!” Gwen was afraid of being discovered by her parents. ]

[Peter smiled slightly, "They won't see you leave!"]

[Then Peter was seen in the night sky holding Gwen, swinging on a spider web between tall buildings.]

[In the sewer, Connors muttered silently, "Peter Parker!"]

[A second voice seemed to ring in the air, "Spider-Man! I'm not the one who needs help! No more loneliness, no more isolation! A wide distribution of species can promote the process of human evolution! Survival of the fittest!!!"]

[While listening to the voice in his heart, Connors began to make lizard potion again. At this time, the traces of lizard skin on his face were extremely obvious, and it was obvious that the genetic invasion had become deeper and deeper.]

[He murmured to himself: "So, if I can transform, maybe I can break free from the constraints of my Flash!"]

[“After you know this power, are you willing to give up? The power you feel! I can! Save them!!!”]

[Connors slowly walked to the instrument, picked up a lizard potion, and injected it into his body without hesitation. After a painful experience, he felt the powerful force again.]

["You can't stop... my plan!!! Peter Parker!!!" Connors turned his head, his eyes had turned into vertical pupils, lizard skin quickly covered his body, and his tail also grew out quickly. ]

George remained expressionless and silent. Gwen lowered her head and didn't dare to look at George. She cursed Peter more than eight hundred times in her heart. This was really terrible.

"Oh! Damn!" The first-generation Dr. Connors frowned and looked at his completely evil alternate self in the screen, and covered his forehead. This wave of public opinion damaged his reputation. Many people saw the second generation Connors' evil transformation and asked the government to investigate him, which also caused him a lot of trouble.

The first generation Norman Osborn looked at Connor in the screen and it was as if he saw his former self. He had also been bewitched by the evil personality and eventually caused a disaster. Fortunately, Peter stopped him in time.

"What does he want to do? Go find you?" Uncle Ben put down the furniture, looked at the screen and couldn't help shaking his head. It seems that Peter Parker's extraordinary path is not so easy.

"I think it's most likely!" Peter squeezed in from outside with two large bags. Fortunately, the gate of the villa was wide enough, otherwise he would not be able to get in.

"You'd better be careful and don't be careless!" Uncle Ben warned him earnestly. Peter nodded. He was thinking about how to tell them that Gwen also had super powers.

The second-generation Connors himself sighed. The crazier the self in the screen was, the greater the pressure he faced. If Peter had not clarified the facts for him as soon as he became a special officer, he probably wouldn't even dare to leave the house now.

It is also worth mentioning that Ratha seemed to know that he would never be able to get out no matter what, so he refused to tell the truth about the death of Richard Parker and his wife.

Due to the importance of this case, George had no choice but to hand him over to the FBI to prevent this hot potato from remaining in the New York Police Department. He couldn't tell Peter that they didn't find out anything.
