Goncharov's Genius
Added 2023-03-16 00:21:30 +0000 UTC"People like us? We don't get happy endings. We just get to keep going." - 'Ice Pick Joe' Morelli
In this video, I seek to examine the underappreciated 1973 film Goncharov, which has remained relatively unknown in the United States up until November 2022.
Special Thanks to
Molly Noise (She/Her) for composing the original music
Matt Crowley (He/Him) for his quotes
Marisa BeBeau (She/Her) for graciously letting me interview her.
You can also buy a copy of the 'Nico the Catboy' zine mentioned in the video here!

Astounding work once again. I salute in particular your citations at the end - they are lovely. And, they are historically important. You help set the standard in video essays by including it.
