Any Friends fans?
Added 2024-09-24 17:38:49 +0000 UTCAny Friends fans? I found myself wanting to watch something lighthearted and just have a good laugh. I was gonna watch it on my own but I thought maybe you'll be interested. I can't promise I'll commit to it though or even finish the first season since it's a long show but maybe if it's received well here and on YouTube I may consider it with breaking bad finishing soon. Anyway, We'll see.

2024-10-12 21:47:23 +0000 UTCI didn't expect I would stick with it for 8+ seasons, but I've been thoroughly enjoying Friends on another reactorchannel, on youtube. It's a bit cheesy and dated, and I think there are funnier shows - but it's a classic for a reason. And, oh, so nostalgic. Would love to see The Good Place though, as others have pointed out :)

2024-09-28 14:59:06 +0000 UTCI've seen a couple of recommendations for The Good Place, which might be better suited to you and your channel, if you haven't seen it already. It's a shorter series (about 50 episodes) and still has short 20-minute episodes. It's clever and lighthearted with more thoughtful material. No shade on Friends... it was my absolute favorite show when it was airing. I don't doubt you'll enjoy it if you do watch it.

I know the need for something light and fun this show has that it also has solid characters a person can care about, I give it a 7 of 10, just not my cup of tea. I do hope you like it.

Friends is a very addictive series when you understand and like the series' proposal. And people who like you will support you regardless of what you choose. I haven't seen either reaction since Stranger Things, particularly because neither current show interests me. But, I like the way you react and comment on series. And I like to help you in some way and contribute to your work. And I think that's it, people who like you will understand that you need to watch Friends and give them an opportunity.

It's got * (Number of) actors Sofie will recogniseand immensley enjoy, not to mention plenty of the others, like Ecclestone and Tennant. Also, has nobody recommended Frasier? I mean, all I know of Sofie is obviously from here, but she's exactly the kind of person I'd recommend it too, way before Friends. I think She's like Friends, of course but I'm confident She'd love Frasier, it's very cerebral comedy.

2024-09-25 03:09:01 +0000 UTCSeems that a lot of people here would like Friends so if reacting to it is something you'd enjoy, I don't see why you shouldn't try it even though it's not something I would personally watch people react to. :) I'll admit that I don't find it actually funny though? It's pretty contrived and corny imo. But while I think that's a common criticism of it, most people still like it. It's a much better pick than The Big Bang Theory which is painfully misogynistic. Based on the humor I've seen you enjoy in other shows I'd rec The Good Place as something more light hearted. Community is also great but it took about half a season for me to really get into it.

If you end up loving friends,the show How I met your mother is a more modern version of friends that came after friends but its also its own very unique show also with a great cast and characters . It was also very high quality and very funny like friends, also a super popular classic show if you havent seen it. I think a lot of people that love friends also would probably love and watch reactions to how I met your mother. Think may be good mix of more lighter shows next to darker shows for your channel. This is also part of why I recommend classic 2000s teen drama tv shows such as gilmore girls,the oc,gossip girl when you finish other long shows such as charmed and once upon a time, classic teen drama tv shows from 2000s seem lighter to me than most of new tv shows. And all those classic teen dramas mentioned have lots of adult characters too,they are not just focused on teen characters only.

The chemistry between the main group is absolutely phenomenal, as well. I'd definitely recommend you watch it on Patreon/Youtube, as you're likely to get a lot of viewers.
