Course of Temptation Dev Diary #75

Hello friends! It is dev diary time once again! However, since we're just between early access and public release, I'll probably keep this pretty short since you can see most of what I've been doing for yourself already!

First of all, we're still in early access and the current version is 0.6.4b. Each update fixes bugs and even adds some new stuff, so use the link in the previous post if you need to update!

As I said in the release notes for early access, this was a code-heavy update that visited a few different systems, and I've been padding it out a little more in terms of events and headliner features.

I'm introducing a few more voyeur type events to let your character get eyefuls of the people around you, if that's something you're into! The chances of succeeding can be based on a number of factors — in this case, the shortness of the NPC's skirt/dress plays the biggest factor. The NPC noticing what you're doing is not necessarily disastrous, depending on their inclinations and how they feel about you.

I'm also adding a new system to collect, well, trophies, of a sort. This has been a surprisingly common request! Or maybe it's not so surprising. In any case, it's here now! Once you've started a collection, adding to it has been integrated into the aftercare system, and there will be other opportunities as well.

The above event is your chance to opt in once you have a couple levels in Voyeurism. If this isn't something you or your character are into, choose accordingly and it won't come up again.

If you've been playing early access, you've probably seen the new search and filter toolbar that I've added to stores. Coming up, this same functionality will be added to your own wardrobe.

Some people have really huge inventories! This, I hope, will help you to manage them.

As a little tip, the descriptions of clothing items are also searchable! So you can type in "activewear" or "sleep" and find items suitable for those activities.

Okay, I'll leave it there for now! Public release will be coming Monday, completing the April update, so you'll hear from me then too. Once that's released, I'll be getting back to working on 0.7, the Greek house update. That mostly involves a ton of event writing to cover pledge events and Greek house parties. Next Friday, you'll get a progress report on that stuff.
