I came home feeling incredibly bloated, my belly round and heavy. I could barely move, and with a sigh, I collapsed onto the bed, trying to ease the discomfort. I unfastened my clothes to feel lighter, but the weight remained, and I didn’t know what to do.
That’s when I saw him: a tiny little man, curiously standing in front of me. “Are you real?” I murmured, surprised. There was something charming about him. Gently, I picked him up and placed him on my rounded belly. “We could be friends,” I said with a small smile.
Exhaustion overtook me, and as I yawned, something unexpected happened: he leapt into my mouth. It was an accident; I swallowed before I could stop it. I felt even heavier, each little shift inside me making my bloating more obvious. I tried changing positions to feel better, but nothing helped. Finally, I drifted off to sleep.
When I woke up, I thought it was all a strange dream. But when I looked down, my belly was still there, round and swollen. I couldn’t go to work like this… but as I glanced at myself in the mirror, I smiled a little. “Maybe I don’t look so bad after all.”
