FUNCTIONAL HAIR SALONS v1.1 - DOWNLOAD

This mod adds functional cosmetology school and hair salons.

This mod requires:
-Zerbu's Venue Changes  https://www.curseforge.com/sims4/mods/venue-changes

-Get Famous expansion pack

All hair services are currently for female sims young adult and older.  When you select sims for the cosmetology school, select female sims.

How This Works
In CAS give your sim the Cosmetology trait from the lifestyle category.  This will unlock the Cosmetology School menu when you click on other Sims.

Setup A Cosmetology School
Set the lot type to generic, add the hair stylist chair from Get Famous.  Have a few computers (all in one power pc) in the school to do required research.

Cosmetology School Social Event
Cosmetology school is an event you can launch from your Sim's phone.  The event will cost $100 fee each time you take the class.

Select your Sim as the student, up to 4 hair clients, and at least one fellow student.  

How To Do Hair
From the stylist chair you can select "Offer Hair Style".  This interaction is included with the game, not this mod.  While performing this you can click on the Sim, Cosmetology School menu, Select one of the hair styles to apply to the sim.

During testing the hair styles tended to work some of the time.  I believe the interaction is canceled, not sure, while in the stylist chair.  It'll still give you the needed Cosmetology Skill boost.

You may have to attend the Cosmetology School Event multiple times until you reach the required skill level to open up your hair salon and give more hair services.

Unlocked the ability to offer braids and twists

Unlocked the ability to offer hair weaves

Level 10
Can get your cosmetology license (computer interaction)

Note:
Even though you've unlocked all the hair styles through leveling up, you cannot perform them on customers in your hair salon until you have your license.  You'll need to have level 10 cosmetology skill.

Cheat Skill
I've added two extra files that'll allow you to boost skill whenever you want.  It's available on your Sim.  Self Click, action menu, Boost Cosmetology Skill.

Setup A Hair Salon
Once you're level 2 of the cosmetology skill you can purchase a hair salon, and use all the interactions from the "Hair Salon" computer menu.

To setup the salon, select a lot and give it the "Hair Salon" venue type. If some reason the venue list isn't working for you just set the lot to generic and skip the purchase process.

You'll need one or more styling chairs and a computer to work from.

From the computer, select Purchase Hair Salon.

All hair care services are performed from clicking on the Sim, not the chair.

Sometimes the hair did not change when selecting a hair style.  Just be aware that's normal.

You earn money every 24 hours from computer interaction, collect hair payments.

Remember to OPEN the hair salon to spawn female clients.  Close the salon to end your day.

How To Install
-Unzip file.  Keep all files in the folder.  Place the folder in your Sims 4 Mods Folder.
-Sims 4 game options, mods and script mods need to be enabled.
-Requires the latest version of Sims 4
-If there isn't a zip file, just download all the files below, place them in a folder, then your Sims 4 mods folder.
