COVEN OF DARKNESS MOD - DOWNLOAD

Coven Of Darkness Mod adds modern witchcraft gameplay to The Sims 4.  Features include starting your own Coven, asking initiates to join your coven, Divination Skill and abilities, owning a Mystic Shop, and performing psychic readings.

This is version 1.2

If you have the original version please remove it and download this version.  The original version is missing payment loots from doing psychic services and tarot card readings.

Get To Work Expansion Pack is needed if you want to purchase the custom venue Mystic shop through the computer. This is option because you set the Mystic Shop to a generic lot type and still use the computer menu "Mystic Shop" to open and close your shop.

How To Troubleshoot Custom Venues
If the venue doesn't show up with any venue list, they're will work by setting the venue type to generic. Remember do not use the Retail UI just the transfer money and selling the store options.

How To Setup A Mystic Shop
Before you can purchase a custom venue through the computer menu "Mystic Shop", you'll need to create the lot.  Set the venue type to Mystic Shop or Generic.  You'll workspace for the "Occult Table".  This can be found in Build/Buy Mode.  Place this in your shop.  If your Sim only wants to work from  home that is fine too.  Should work on most lots. Add a desk and Basegame computer.  Usually the all in one power pc works best.  Open the Mystic Shop will spawn 3 to 8 Sims.  Closing the shop will send them away.

CAS Lifestyle Trait
Give your Sim the High Priestess trait from the lifestyle category.  It's required for most interactions to appear.

Functional Covens (Requires Level 2 Divination Skill)
From the computer menu "Coven", select "Create A Coven".  This will give your Sim a special trait to manage the Coven Initiates.  Destroy The Coven interaction will appear when you create a coven just it isn't for your Sim.  If you're not level 2 this option will not be available. You can get Divination Skill by doing spells from the Occult Table.

Grow your Coven by asking trusted Sims to join through the High Priestess social menu.  This menu will contain most of the functions for running the coven, including rituals, the bylaws, and social interactions.  Once you have a few Initiates you're ready to start casting sacred circles and meeting with the Initiates.  Using your phone, plan the social event "Cast A Sacred Circle".  Select your initiates, and the place the coven will do rituals.  It can be the mystic shop, residential lots, parks, or generic lots.

Goal the event by performing all the rituals with Coven Initiates and incantations.  You'll also earn a little money from each meeting.  You can also remove a Coven Initiate if they aren't the right fit.

Divination Skill
This is a major adult skill with 10 levels.  You earn skill by performing spells on the Occult Table and using coven interactions through the High Priestess menu.

Divination Menu
You'll find the Divination menu by self-clicking on your Sim.  They'll have a few options to start with.  Once they earn more Divination skill they can access the ability to go on rabbithole soul journeys or do something really bad by sending a Sim to Hell and back.  That Sim might die upon return.

Occult Table
Purchase in Build/Buy Mode. If your Sim doesn't have the Divination skill they'll be able to do a few powerful magic spells.  Each spell has the potential to give your Sim good or bad karma.  Be very careful what you do.

Psychic Readings
Click the table and select a Sim from the simpicker.  Please be aware that the Sim has to be on the lot.  The Sim you pick will down at the table and wait for you to do your performance.  Once you're done you'll get a vision and a notification with the advice for the Sim.  You'll also earn a random amount of money.  

Functional Tarot Card Readings
First pull cards from the tarot deck.  This interaction will give you a random tarot card buff.  When you have this buff it'll become availabe from the Give A Tarot Card Reading interaction.  This is a tarot card picker.  All the cards are there but they are greyed out, except the cards you picked.  Click on the card to read the meaning.  This interaction does not require you to sit down at the table. It'll loot money with each reading.

How To Install
-Unzip file.  Keep all files in the folder.  Place the folder in your Sims 4 Mods Folder.
-Sims 4 game options, mods and script mods need to be enabled.
-Requires the latest version of Sims 4
-If there isn't a zip file, just download all the files below, place them in a folder, then your Sims 4 mods folder.

-Translations cannot include the mod.  Only stringtables.
