2025-05-14 04:16:35 +0000 UTCBoth the Mikrokosmos performance and the Idol performance they did was recorded in Seoul S.Korea at the Gyeongbokgung Palace built in 1395. The two performances were filmed at two different buildings at the Gyeongbokgung Palace. Idol was performed in front of Geunjeongjeon Hall, the throne hall where the king formally granted audiences to his officials, gave declarations of national importance, and greeted foreign envoys and ambassadors during the Joseon Dynasty. They are wearing modern Hanbok (traditional clothing) for this Idol performance. Mikrokosmos was performed in the Gyeonghoeru Pavilion, a hall used to hold important and special state banquets during the Joseon Dynasty.

2025-05-12 19:10:40 +0000 UTCi was so waiting for your reaction when Jimin harmonized with the backing track at 7:30 ๐ i always love when he does that kind of thing! i remember bts week like it was yesterday, waking up at 6am every day to discover a new performance, that was one of the best experiences during covid. like most people said, my favorite performances are Home and Mikrokosmos, i can't wait to see your reactions to them (and to discover what's the surprise one!)

Didn't HATE it, but certainly not one of my favs. That is, until seeing them perform it during this week. It quickly jumped to one of my Top 10...maybe even Top 5?...it's on most of my playlists - BTS ones and general "Favorite Songs" collections! Do yourself a favor when you get to it and watch it at least 8 times!!! Seriously, once for the overall performance/song, focusing on whoever is singing, but then? You NEED to see what each of them are doing in the background, too!!!!!! SO worth it. LMAO
