In a room a man was awakened from his sleep by the warm light shining on the side of his face from a crack in the window. Still sleepy-eyed, he got out of bed and made his way to the bathroom. There he washed his face and brushed his teeth.

After finishing in the bathroom, he went to the kitchen to make a simple breakfast, it was bread and fried eggs.

After finishing his breakfast, he changed into his school uniform which consisted of a beautiful white and blue top, embroidered with many lines of accessories, a short red tie hanging from his collar, making him look more elegant, especially with his long black pants and black shoes.

In the mirror he checked his appearance and nodded to himself. What he saw in the mirror was a very handsome young man. He had short black hair that was slightly disheveled, ruby red eyes, fair skin, a tall body and had lean muscles, a broad back with a noble aura looming over his body.

Satisfied with checking his appearance, he walked out of his dorm room. When he opened the door, a hallway with white walls and a floor made of marble filled his vision. The dormitory where he lived could be considered luxurious as it was specially made for students with noble backgrounds and he was one of those students.

His name is Liam Atismata and he is not a native of this world.

He is a reincarnator who was reborn in another world, or rather he was reborn in the world of a novel he had read in his previous life.

Unlike reincarnators from anime or novels he had read where a reincarnator is reborn in another world as a character destined to be the protagonist.

He wasn't.

Although the character himself was not bad because in this world he was reborn as a prince of a kingdom and was automatically included as one of the people born with a silver spoon.

It's honestly compared to being a protagonist character where he has to be the lowest and lowest first before reaching the top.

He felt that being reincarnated as a prince was better than being a protagonist, even though being a protagonist meant having the potential to surpass others by undergoing many obstacles in his life.

But to tell you the truth, Liam thinks people who want to be the protagonist of an anime or work of fiction are masochists.

For example, let's say a man is hit by a truck and his soul somewhere meets a being called God, Goddess, Outer God, Rob or something like that who gives the soul of the man hit by the truck a choice to reincarnate in another world with some cliché requests.

Such a cliché routine... Liam was certainly not jealous as he had never experienced anything similar.

He did not envy at all.

He wasn't-

"Ouch!"

"S-Sorry! I accidentally bumped into you, Liam-sama! Please spare my life!"

"Huh? Yes, I accept your apology. Next time please be careful when walking."

"...T-Then, thank you Liam-sama!"

A girl had just bumped into him as he turned the corner in the dormitory hallway, after thanking him the girl looked at him with a hint of fear in her eyes, but there was also a blush on her cheeks before she ran away from him.

Liam shook his head and continued walking towards his class.

He was used to seeing reactions like the girl who accidentally bumped into him before.

For example, the fear he saw in the girl's eyes when she bumped into him. He knew that fear came from his status as a prince where people were often afraid of offending him for fear of being punished by his royal family.

The punishment could be demotion to the family of the offending person, if the offending person was from a noble family of course. Other punishments could be permanent/non-permanent imprisonment, and the deadliest punishment would be death for offending the royal family. The latter and other punishments also actually depend on the severity of the offending person's guilt.

There were actually more other punishments that he had learned from books related to royal law, but he didn't want to do a long monologue about it to explain the details so forget it.

By the way he had never punished people who accidentally offended him or for example something like the girl who bumped into him before. As a person who in his previous life lived on modern Earth, his mindset is of course not the same as how a prince or noble in this world should act.

And about the blushing face reaction when the previous girl saw his face. As a man who knew enough about otaku culture or at least he had watched a lot of anime or read novels. He knew the girl's blush reaction when she saw his face was because he was so handsome that it made her little heart flutter.

It's not that he's narcissistic, but that's just how it is...

By the way should he continue the monologue on the topic of the man who got hit by a truck and reincarnated into another world?

Okay before getting to class, he seemed to able to finish a monologue about it. So after the man's soul was given the option of reincarnating into another world and being able to ask for some wish-fulfilling requests. He of course agreed and since the man was an otaku, he requested to be reincarnated in his favorite anime world and wanted to be the protagonist character in that world. The man wanted to be reincarnated as a harem protagonist and hoped to get many heroines in his harem like in the canon anime he knew.

Armed with knowledge of the plot and the not-so-OP golden finger given by the party that gave him the reincarnation ticket. The man was eager to live a lustful life with the heroines. He forgot the details about the protagonist's lowly and pathetic background where he had to work hard his way through obstacle after obstacle like the canon version of the protagonist to reach the pinnacle of his life.

The man is oblivious to his masochism to accept the many problems that naturally come his way because he is the protagonist. He just nodded and was excited especially with his motivation to become a harem protagonist.

Liam always sighed seeing that kind of protagonist. He himself did like beautiful women and actually had a desire to have a harem, but if he had to go through a lot of trouble after trouble that kept coming his way like the protagonist...

This is why if given the choice he didn't want to be the protagonist and he was content with his reincarnation as a prince.

If the problems in his life weren't too many and didn't keep him in life-and-death situations, he felt that it was okay to struggle in his life. But by becoming the protagonist the problems he would face would exceed the problems that a normal person could bear, especially with the frequency of problems that came almost every day if he reincarnated as the protagonist.

If he becomes the protagonist he feels that his mental fortitude in facing every problem will be constantly tested, making him like a masochist who can't even resist the problems that keep coming at him.

Well that's all, let's end this topic.

It had been a few minutes since he walked out of his dormitory and stepped foot on the public street where there were many pedestrians such as school students with the same identical uniforms as him. As usual he also saw a lot of buildings with century designs...I don't know which century but it sure looked nice and exuded a noble vibe even though it was not too modern a facility of his school.

Speaking of school, he was a second year student at the Royal Officer Academy which was in the territory of New Kingdom Atismata. It was his kingdom's territory and actually the Royal Officer Academy was a girls-only school, but the special rules were intentionally bent for him because he was a prince of the New Kingdom Atismata.

Not that he really wanted to go to an all-girls school, in the first place the reason he entered this school was because his mother who was the queen of the New Kingdom Atismata urged him to go here with his younger sister.

The school of course could not refuse the request of a royal queen in their territory, as they did not have the courage to refuse and offend the royal family.

Liam felt a bit sorry for the principal of his school and felt bad for being the exception of being the only male student in an all-girls school.

It's been 1 year since he attended the Royal Officer Academy. Many people in the school already knew that the prince of the New Kingdom Atismata attended an all-girls school.

With his status and good looks, he was naturally popular among the students and teachers, especially in this 1 year he had proven that he was smart and had above average academic grades. He was also a good student and never took the initiative to cause trouble at school. So the people who initially had problems with him being the only male student in an all-girls school are now more accepting of him.

Although if they objected, they wouldn't even be able to do anything to him because of his status.

At this moment, he had just arrived at his class and entered, instantly many girls' gazes glanced at him. Many of them had flushed faces and were looking at him in a daze, especially his younger sister who was already sitting in her seat in the center of the class.

His own seat was at the very back, near the classroom window and was in the highest row of seats in the class. The school's seats are arranged like steps going up from the front of the class. So this was his seating position and he didn't complain or react much just because he was sitting in the protagonist's seat which is usually near the window and in the far corner of the class.

"Good morning Liam-sama!"

Many girls at school greeted him, he nodded expressionlessly at them. "Morning."

"Kyaaaa! Liam-sama returned my morning greetings again as usual!"

"Huh? Aren't you overconfident? Liam-sama returns our greetings, not just you."

"Liam-sama is as handsome as ever!"

"His cold gaze is so cool! Makes me shiver... but I like that."

The girls whispered, but none of them dared to approach him, such as gathering around him or something.

Why?

It is because of his cold temperament that pushes people away from him.

From the bottom of his heart he wanted to interact normally with those cute girls, but somehow his character design passively exuded a cold temperament and was hard to get close to.

In addition, his facial expressions also seemed to always be cold and if he smiled people would only see him smiling coldly.

This has been going on since he was reincarnated from a baby to the 17-year-old he is now in this world.

Other than at school, his cold character is actually well-known throughout the New Kingdom Atismata.

But instead of hating him, people seemed to admire him. He grew in popularity and was dubbed the cold prince or iceberg handsomeness by the people of New Kingdom Atismata. Those nicknames made him feel cringe and ashamed in his heart, but on the surface he still displayed his cold character without a crack.

He was frustrated by his condition of course, but after 17 years he had become numb and gradually accepted that this mask of his cold character was very difficult to take off.

Even in front of his family in this world, such as his younger sister. He seemed cold to her even though he was eager to hang out with his super pretty and cute younger sister.

Sitting in the middle of the class his younger sister just glanced at him with a frown and a "Hmph!" Before turning her face to the front of the class without greeting him as usual.

Liam smiled wryly and sighed.

'Damn, I want to sit next to her and pat her on the head.'

'But this cold character design really doesn't make sense! Although my mind wants to take the initiative to talk to my sister, but this damn body so stubbornly wants to appear as a cold character!'

'I'll force my body, maybe this time...'

Although he could move his body freely if he really wanted to and act out of his cold character, but as usual there was some kind of strange force that would make him change his mind.

"...."

He was still sitting on his chair with one hand supporting his chin and staring out the window, the girls who saw this screamed. "Kyaaaa!"

"What is Liam-sama looking at?

"Maybe he's gazing at the beautiful blue sky as usual."

"Ahhh~! I want his cold gaze to stare at me..."

Liam closed his eyes for a moment before opening them and roaring in his heart.

'Staring at the beautiful blue sky? You're wrong! I wasn't staring at anything, my gaze was blank and-'

'No, why am I even explaining that inside my own head?'

He felt pathetic for talking to himself.

And as usual, he was now back to his cold character even though before he really wanted to act out of character.

'Damn fictional world... Maybe this world doesn't want me to change the canon plot and make me a cold, aloof character? It's like the world is preventing me from having close relationships with important characters in the plot, such as my sister. She is one of the heroines of this world and she is destined to belonged to the protagonist.'

'And my own character, Liam Atismata actually never existed in anime canon... In short, I'm an extra character in this world.'

Should he be happy or sad about this?

He really just wanted to live a good life, have friends and maybe a girlfriend, then a beautiful wife in his life.

But his cold character makes it difficult for him to get the things he wants, although he is happy to be born with a silver spoon, but even so...

'17 years of living in this world, I don't have any friends that I can confide in, not even my own family people... I'm not close enough with them, my sister too... Our relationship isn't really close and she rarely talks to me, she must be sick of my cold character.'

'Hahaha... How pathetic of me, maybe reincarnating into a protagonist character would be better?'

For a moment Liam started to think about that, but he quickly shook his head, even if he was given a choice before reincarnating, he would not choose to reincarnate as the protagonist.

Despite the excuses he made in the previous monologue, he actually felt disgusted by the protagonist character, even if the protagonist was kind and didn't do anything bad.

Somehow she had a dislike for people with the protagonist label, not just protagonists of this world, but protagonists she had known from novels or anime in previous lives.

If given a choice before reincarnating like those Cliché Reincarnators. Instead of choosing to be a protagonist, he would rather choose to be a villain.

Unlike protagonists who usually have low backgrounds in the beginning, most villain characters have above-average backgrounds. They are usually a genius at the start and have a strong family. Of course not all, but at least mid- or high-level villains are like that.

If not for the basic rule that protagonists can defeat villains if given enough time to grow, would the villains really be defeated by someone like the protagonist?

Of course not, the protagonists cheated because the world itself helped them to become winners in life.

There were many loopholes in his statement, but no matter what, he still disliked protagonists and favored villains.

Of course it's not that she really wants to be a villain character, he just thinks villains are cool for some reason.

But it's a pity that the villain character will always be the object of the protagonist's face slapping, so being a villain is...

[DING! Complaint System has been successfully activated due to detecting the host's inner complaint that caught the attention of *#*#*#*#*#.]

'... Putting aside that censored person's name because I have no interest in knowing it, but shouldn't I get a destiny villain system or something related to my inner grievances? Why did I get a Complaint System that sounds useless!'

Liam complained about how unsuitable his current plot routine was.

Turning his gaze to the front of the classroom since the teacher had already arrived, out of the corner of his eye he saw the familiar transparent blue screen he had seen in the anime he had watched in his previous life.

Although it was slightly different, but it was obvious that the screen-like object floating in the air that only he could see was the clichéd golden finger called the system.

He was naturally surprised, but with his cold character he didn't change his expression and only reacted in his heart.

In his mind he immediately spoke matter-of-factly to the system.

'System, explain what you can do for me.'

...

When Liam was busy listening to the explanation from his system with his gaze fixed at the front of the class as if paying attention to the teacher who was teaching.

Lisesharte Atismata or commonly referred to by the nickname Lisha, she is Liam Atismata's younger sister and a princess of the New Kingdom Atismata.

Although she is Liam's younger sister, she actually has no blood relationship with him. That's because she is actually a child adopted by her aunt who is Liam's biological mother and Queen of the New Kingdom Atismata.

Lisha is a beautiful young woman with a beautiful face, fair skin, and red eyes that she inherited from her dead biological mother. She has long blonde hair tied in a ponytail on the left side, making her look pretty and cute with her Royal Officer Academy female uniform.

Just like her older brother, she is an outstanding second-year student at her Royal Officer Academy and is popular among many students.

Unlike her older brother who had a cold personality that was difficult to approach, Lisha actually had a personality that was quite easy to get along with, although she was sometimes a bit arrogant about her ability as one of the strongest Drag-Knights in the academy.

But not only that... she was also actually a Tsundere, especially when it came to her older brother, Liam Atismata.

This morning, just like always she just grunted when she saw Liam. She had never really talked to him, even after a year since she lived in the same academy as him.

Even during the years before joining the academy, in the Kingdom she and her older brother actually rarely spoke and may have only ever greeted each other, and even then it was actually very rare.

Making her and her older brother's relationship very distant and more like strangers living in the same family.

A few years ago, Lisha had taken the initiative to get in touch with her older brother, Liam.

But Liam often ignored her and continued to give her a cold stare, since then she wondered if Liam hated her because she was a child adopted by her mother?

Lisha didn't know and after all these years, she thought her older brother must hate her.

So she never took the initiative to talk to him again until recently, not because she hated him but because the other party's personality was so cold.

While the class was in progress, Lisha would sometimes glance back to see her older brother.

She knew he hated her, and she also had no intention of bothering him, but somehow she was always curious about her older brother.

At times like this she wanted to know what her cold and aloof older brother was thinking.

It had been 1 year since they both attended the academy, but she had never seen Liam hanging out with others, even though he was popular and many of the girls in the academy seemed to like him.

'Well, with his face... Even if he's cold to everyone, he doesn't seem to be the target of hatred and is actually getting liked by many girls in the academy.'

Lisha's eyes reflected the handsome face of Liam who was currently looking at the front of the class coldly.

The sunlight shining on the side of his face from the window made him look dazzling...

Making her heart beat faster than usual.

Lisha immediately shook her head with a red face and lowered her head to the textbook.

'I-It's happening again... Why does my heart often beat fast when I look at his face long enough? There must be something wrong with me.'

'Is it because he's too handsome that I'm mesmerized by him? Uwaaaahh... N-No, I'm definitely not mesmerized by that cold man!'

'Hmph! I admit he's very handsome, but he's not my type, besides he's also my brother and his cold personality... I don't like him.'

As Lisha continued to complain about Liam inside her head, she suddenly heard a familiar voice in her head.

[It's been 17 years since I reincarnated in this novel world as Liam Atismata, although living as a prince of a kingdom is nice, but it's actually quite lonely. Gosh I don't even have any friends to talk to, my cute sister ignores me, she seems to hate me for my cold attitude. Damn, it's not my wish to be a cold character, okay?! The rules of this damn novel world force me to do so, even if I want to act out of character, I can't do it... There's some kind of force that prevents me from doing so.]

Hearing that familiar voice say so clearly... Wait, that's definitely Liam's voice!

She heard his voice so close, but when she turned her head towards her older brother, he was still sitting there while watching the teacher who was teaching and his mouth was tightly closed.

Seeing this it was impossible that she could hear his voice so close as if talking inside her head, and if that was the case the other students or the teacher would also definitely react to seeing her normally quiet older brother talking so much, but it seemed that no one else but her heard her older brother's voice before.

Lisha was confused, her gaze secretly glanced at her older brother who was still cold as usual.

'Obviously it was his voice, but how could it be? Wait, is that his heart's voice? I can hear his inner voice?!'

'And what's this about him being reincarnated in a novel world? Is this world a novel world? That's crazy!'

Lisha naturally doubted the information she had just heard, but she blushed remembering Liam calling her a cute sister.

The cold man secretly praised her in his heart and it seemed like he didn't hate her as much as she thought!

If that voice was really his inner voice...

Did Liam really not mean to be so cold to everyone all this time?

That cold character was forced by this world!

Lisha actually didn't quite understand the information she heard from Liam's inner voice.

But clearly from the bottom of his heart, Liam was actually not a cold person.

He was actually lonely because he had no friends to talk to, even he was also sad about his younger sister who ignored him.

Lisha felt sorry for her older brother, should she take the initiative again to talk to him during break time? Even if he was being cold it was just a mask that he couldn't take off because of the rules of the world or something.

At this moment she glanced at Liam and she could see that his cold figure actually looked very lonely.

Making her heart unbearable, she also didn't actually hate him and only slightly disliked his cold personality.

But after knowing it was actually just a cold mask hiding his true self, she felt it was okay to try to get along with him as long as she could ignore his cold personality.

Lisha's deep red eyes sparkled, she seemed eager to talk to her older brother soon.

During break time... maybe she should take him to lunch together?

That's a great idea!

Lisha thought of various plans to get along with her older brother, she didn't even think of how she could hear her older brother's inner voice.

She just thought it was some kind of miracle.

Now that she could hear her older brother's inner voice, it should be easy to get along with him!

Well, now what else was her older brother thinking? Somehow she felt excited to continue hearing his inner voice.

But the next inner voice she heard from her older brother's inner voice was something else that surprised her again.

[According to the current plot timeline of the novel world. As one of the heroines, Lisha was supposed to meet the protagonist later in the afternoon. The protagonist will have an accident that makes him fall from the roof of the public bathroom at the Royal Officer Academy, he falls right on top of Lisha who is bathing and sees her naked body... Damn, should I prevent the protagonist from seeing my sister's naked body? Of course I will! Although I'm not sure if the rules of the world will prevent me again as usual, but I'll still try! As a big brother, I must protect my sister's chastity from the protagonist's accidental perverted moment!]

At this moment, Lisha saw her older brother clenching his fist on the table with a cold expression.

He looked scary with his cold expression, but in Lisha's eyes he looked very cool at the moment.

It made her heart pound because Liam seemed very determined to protect her. Her face turned red and she immediately hid her face behind a book while staring at the front of the class.

Immediately, her eyes widened remembering the important content she had just heard from his inner voice, she paid too much attention to Liam's words of wanting to protect her and almost forgot the rest.

'Is this world really a novel world? Wait, is that serious? I'm one of the heroines and according to Liam later this afternoon I'll meet protagonist by way of a perverted accident in the bathroom!'
