Hellmouth
Added 2019-10-03 22:50:44 +0000 UTCโAfter days of surviving the insane heat of the flowing lava fields, jumping from one jagged broken rock to another, the party finally spot their destination. Through the heavily ashen clouds two red horns curve upwards towards the sky from a bone white skull.
50ft across the giant devil skull lies staring at the red sky. Itโs eye sockets oozing a ceaseless stream of lava down itโs sides, weeping at the injustice of itโs fate.
Supposedly their quarry lay beyond the jaws of the skull itself and down the seemingly endless staircase ... beneath the lava field itself.โ
Hey all,
Hereโs the next in the Hellscape series Iโve been working on. Itโs been really good fun working out the different elements and bringing them together to make something that works. I wanted an otherworldly, crazy scape that also felt a bit lived in and abandoned - hence the broken metal bridges and planks. Who knows what creatures make use of this space and what lies in wait for any adventurer who enters the endless staircase below.
Anyway, as always, thanks for being awesome and supporting me. I had some great feedback whilst working on this map and if youโd like to join in and see what I've got cooking head on over to my Discord Chanel and introduce yourself - https://discord.gg/5H6ZtbX
