Q&A with Grey: One Decade Edition

Comments

I love Grey, but l only really joined to watch Grey play minecraft but l can't seem to get it. This is the hardest Patreon l've ever joined.

Noeleen Miller

Yep. I have the same problem 😢

Samuurai

Is it just me or is the Patreon link broken? 😭

Bernardo Clementino

Anyway! I want to suggest, for your next Q&A whenever that is, if you feel like it, would tell us your favorite game/s?

Happy Ten Years! I concur with video games being a great way to disconnect from work, maybe even reality, although sometimes there's a moment in a game's story that slaps you back into the reality you're evading, like that moment playing the first Witcher game in March 2020 and finding out the city I need to enter is closed up in quarantine because of a respiratory disease pandemic...

Miguel Angel Vilela

Love this, Grey. Thanks for all of the amazing videos. Keep em coming. And let me know the next time you're at the weed research facility in Fort Collins; I'd love to buy ya a real cup of socially distanced coffee.

Is there a director's commentary?

The greatest misconception about communication is the illusion that it has occurred.

Good work

I am like you in so many ways. Thank you for letting me know I am not the only one. Surprisingly, because I thought I didn’t care, it actually means a lot.

'A super-fast highway'—mate, you're in Europe. I suppose you haven't driven on the mainland (and why would you, since the trains are so good) but I-70 has a pretty ordinary speed limit, by European standards, and people adhere to it more in Utah.

Mik Scheper

'A project'… now we wonder if those monoliths were yours. 😉

"Whoa, what I said was not at all what I meant" is so relatable! Public speaking started off light and fun for me, but over time I noticed I couldn't really parse my own words and intent a few days later—what hope could anyone else have?! Happy 10 years Grey! Your videos have been a great help for teaching and empowering my students. Thank you for your work!

Hi Grey, Iv been watching your content for maybe 5 years, i was a Little late to the party, but boy Im happy Im here Now! 💕

Martin Bergqvist

In two years, I will have been watching your videos for the majority of my life (I think).

Happy decade, Grey! I want to thank you, because it is rare I find someone with the same kind of analytical (obsessive?) mind as mine, and you are not shy of saying out loud what I often secretly think. Your biggest influence on me has been your series on voting systems, which completely blew my mind. Canada (where I live) _almost_ changed its system a few years back, but backtracked quite early in the process, and currently the province where I live (Québec) is trying to change their system too. I am now that guy who's always trying to convince people that our voting system sucks, thanks to you :) I wish you another fantastic 10 years!

I've been watching your channel since "How to Become the Pope". Your thoughts on HI and Cortex have been a big positive influence!

I loved the end part of “no sponsor” as well... you actually sounded a bit emotional at the end; which was kind of surprising.

H.I. Grey, I’ve been watching your channel for a long time, and have been listening to the podcast of you and Brady since it started the summer before my first year of collage. The advice that you’ve given in your videos and in the podcasts has all come together for me this past year. I am forever grateful for the time listening to you, Brady, and Mike over the years and the videos you've made such as my favorite "Spaceship You". As I type this my LED lights have turned from green to blue and it is time for me to end my break. So thank you, and I think I can say this for many people who have found your channel, podcasts, and things that you do on the internet, it means a lot. - Z

Thank you for the past 10 years. You are the source of a lot of the life changing ideas that I have come across.

I am also so glad there are no sponsor. My usual rule of thumb on patreon is, give a bit to small project if you like them, stop when they are big and get enough ads revenue, reuse that money on other project But the fact that there is no sponsor make me want to keep supporting a "free spirit" :) Without VPN ads

I think you forgot to tear off the corners of the previous pages in your Theme System Journal
