We're going on an adventure!
Added 2018-03-02 21:39:14 +0000 UTCFor those of you who saw on Twitter that I'm getting on a plane tomorrow to fly 20+ hours to where it's literally summer... well, I wasn't kidding.
So tomorrow begins our sojourn to the island nation of New Zealand to shoot our video essay-umentary about the Hobbit on location, the reasons for which will become obvious, well, upon its release (beginning in late March). Thank you all for your continued support, allowing us to put in real effort for our productions (including buying decent equipment and hiring a skeleton crew). I promise the Hobbit feet make sense. Actually I don't. But one never knows.
We are going to try to utilize Patreon's newfangled Lens app while we're there to give a live update for patrons (keyword: try. Obviously I've never done it), and I'm sure nothing will go wrong and everything will be fine, unlike with the Hunchback shoot where we missed our flight back from Paris.

I’d honestly pay to hear you as a guest on the SinCat. That’s the Cinema Sins podcast. You can criticize everything about Cinema Sins and what they do. Barrett just said on Twitter he’s open to inviting a detractor. I’d love for this to happen!

2018-03-03 01:55:25 +0000 UTCYay awesome you're coming down to this part of the world :) Err yeah as for things that might be a problem, there is a train strike going on in Auckland (which is our main city and is the closest hub to where they filmed the Hobbiton sequences) and an impending bus strike is due soon :O! If you're going around the North Island in a rented car that probably won't matter though but something to be aware of just in case!
