Nexstar Suits Coming to Tegna Stations

Starting next week, Nexstar suits are expected to start making visits to the Tegna markets.
Word is that Nexstar executives are putting markets that will become duopolies at the top of the list of their visits.
A source tells FTVLive that, "The visits will come from execs in the engineering and tech divisions of Nexstar to assess facilities and determine which building in the duopoly markets will be home for the combined stations."
We hear that the suits will be stopping by both the Nexstar station in the market and the Tegna station as they try to determine from a technical standpoint which building will be best to use when they combine operations.
Word is that Nexstar CEO Perry Sook is not expected to be part of the visits.
"This process is moving faster than many expected," said one insider to FTVLive.
If the Nexstar/Tegna deal is approved, look for Nexstar to combine operations, and that will mean that many duplicate jobs will be eliminated.
