Sometimes, You Should Just Stay Quiet

Despite being an Anchor, there are times when you would be best to keep your mouth shut.
Especially when it comes to pets.
WJBK (Detroit) Sports Anchor Ryan Ermanni made a social media post in which he started off by saying, "I know I will probably get skewered for saying this..."
Maybe, that was his first clue to remain silent, but he didn't and this was his post.
First off, Kirk Herbstreit is a network color commentator and that puts him a bit higher up in the pecking order. Second, his dog, Peter has become a celebrity in its own right. Many would argue more so than Ermanni'.
Viewers weighed in on Ermanni's post and they certainly did not see it the way he did.
I think the lesson here is to never try and upstage a cute dog, because you will lose every time. Also, just because you can say something, doesn't mean you have to say it.
Lastly, my own personal take, if you don't like pets, than I don't like you.

Ryan Ermanni is the BIGGEST tool in Detroit television. He'll say anything to get attention. Don't even try to mess with the big boys, loser!
