Get Arrested, Get Promoted

Less than 6 months ago, cops clamped the cuffs on a Hearst Anchor, arrested for DUI. She now just got a promotion at the station.

Back in late June, WYFF (Greenville) Meteorologist/Traffic Anchor Victoria Kokinos was arrested.

At the time, she was listed as the station's Traffic Anchor/Meteorologist. It is a bit ironic that your Traffic Anchor is arrested for DUI.

But, despite her arrest, it hasn't seem to have any impact on her career. If fact, Hearst just promoted her. Kokinos is the new Morning Met for the station.

Since I lost a family member, who was jittery and killed by a drunk driver, I will hold my full thoughts on this issue, because it might get out of hand.

But, I guess if you get arrested and work for Hearst, don't fret one bit, you might just get a promotion.

What a business.
